Opinions from the Nikon Coolpix B500

Advantages: this is the second second camera. happy with it. the photos are good … when recording video, the sound does not distort conveniently that this camera has plastic batteries … if the batteries are dead, you can always buy batteries.
Disadvantages: not found

Pluses: Appearance, good zoom, good photos in macro mode
Disadvantages: Photos of landscapes, architectural objects “blurry”, not clear. I was very upset to see the quality of the photos. This quality of photographs can be seen in standard soap dishes for less money.
Disadvantages: The price does not match the quality of the photo.

Advantages: Good optical zoom, image stabilization, Wi-Fi and bluetooth, quickly and accurately focuses, it is possible to record video in FullHD. Also, there is the possibility of wireless synchronization with a smartphone using a special application available from Google Play.
Disadvantages: Weight, but a matter of habit. Excessively strong noise reduction in low light and maximum zoom. There are no manual settings for shutter speed and aperture, but I hardly need them. No HDR mode.

Advantages: Simple and convenient settings management. High quality photos.
Disadvantages: High price.

Advantages: Quality, zoom, performance
Disadvantages: no
Disadvantages: It is not necessary to draw conclusions on the defective device. The fotik is great! yes, this is not a DSLR camera, and not a cool mirrorless camera, prices for which start at 40 thousand rubles. This is a good and convenient digital camera with a steep optical zoom. In a dark room with a flash – great photos. In the dark without a flash – very good, in the sunlight there is nothing to say. The video is very high quality, the stabilizer works great. And using the 40x zoom is just a fairy tale for a normal tourist without the quirks that photos can only be taken on DSLRs for a couple of green ones.

Pluses: Quite good photos in motion. Fits comfortably in the hand. Swivel screen.
Disadvantages: Nightmare sound on video, took to record concerts, the previous camera (Coolpix L820) coped quite well, but here you have to pinch your ears, a huge amount of sound distortion.
Disadvantages: I will try to return and take an older model, not with such a sensitive and smart microphone.

Advantages: I did not have time to find positive aspects
Disadvantages: Pictures are not clear, blurry, it is impossible to shoot a subject in motion. The video is not good at all (like on an ancient phone)
Disadvantages: I have been choosing a camera to replace the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 for a very long time. I reread the sea of reviews, reviewed a bunch of reviews and opted for the Nikon Coolpix B500 model. I bought into the high performance of the 16 matrix and a good 40 zoom. I will say one thing – the photos and videos of the seven-year-old Lumix are much better! When I read negative reviews about similar models with ultrazoom, where they wrote the same thing, I could not believe that a new modern model with improved parameters, and even for such a price, could give such terrible results. I compared photos and videos of two cameras under the same conditions: Nikon has more grainy blurry edges. Video is a separate topic altogether: video is very important for me, because I often take pictures of a child, here the camera could not catch focus for a long time, and then when it approached it lost all the time, when the camera was moved, the light flickered and the graininess changed, in general, the video just shocked me. The manufacturer wrote that the camera can shoot video apparently only for show. To summarize: 1) the focus adjusts oh-oh-very long, so it is generally impossible to shoot objects in motion (I tried to shoot my son without a flash – everything is blurry, out of 6 pictures, only one more or less when he sat down without moving); 2) began to zoom in closer – the closer, the more blurry, not clear contours; 3) the video is worthless; 4) in general, I was disappointed to tears with the apparatus for 20 thousand and on the same day I took it back to the store, of course the money was not returned there, but was taken for examination for 10 days, in general, I am now waiting for a refund with my beloved Lumix . My advice: buy only the camera that someone you know has already used and you know exactly what to expect from it.
