In the first part of the article, we began to analyze a big topic about how to choose clothes for a man. The key is to choose a versatile, classic wardrobe that won't go out of style for a long time. In the last blur, we considered 10 items of men's wardrobe, and today we will consider 10 more things that every stylish man should have.

11. Seasonal classic suit
What part of the world you live in will determine what kind of weather you will have outside. Since I live near Moscow, it is quite hot here in summer and very cold in winter. Therefore, for me, both linen and cotton suits are relevant in the summer, and tweed and wool suits in the winter.
For the most part, choosing a seasonal suit is no different than choosing a classic men's suit, other than choosing a type of fabric. Therefore, the recommendations are the same: single-breasted jacket with two buttons, fitted. Lapels are medium in size and there must be slots (cuts) on the back or side of the jacket. For more information on how to choose a classic men's suit, see this article at bowandtie.ru. Also see the infographic on how the suit should fit.

12. Shirt with a collar with buttons
A classic light shirt with a button-down collar is the perfect solution for smart casual or casual style. This shirt is also called Oxford, after the famous university in England. An Oxford shirt looks great with jeans or chinos / khakis. You can complement the image with a dark gray or dark blue blazer, as well as any classic shoes.
To diversify your wardrobe, you can buy shirts with a button-down collar in pastel colors: blue, light green, yellow or orange. Be sure that your look will turn out to be very interesting, especially if you add accessories in the color of your shoes (if we are talking about a belt, watch strap) or in the color of a shirt (if we are talking about a tie, bow tie or pocket square). You can find out how a shirt should fit in the picture.

13. Polo shirt
The polo shirt is an unconditional symbol of the smart casual style of a man. You should choose more traditional shades, such as: white, black, gray, dark blue. These colors are in perfect harmony with the rest of the wardrobe details. For a change, you can buy pastel colors: green, yellow, blue, pink…. yes yes pink! If you buy things in pink, you probably won't find a better polo shirt.
By the way, try to choose a slightly tight polo. It should neither hang nor tight. Sleeve lines should line up with the width of your shoulders, this is the standard rule. Some people tuck polo into pants or jeans, but personally, I don't really like the way it looks. How to walk, decide for yourself.
If we are talking about a universal wardrobe, then try not to buy polos with patches or pictures. Let's say a small logo of the manufacturer's company, no more.
Polos are best worn with chinos or khakis, jeans or shorts. The polo can be worn under or without a blazer, in this regard, the style will remain.

14. Brown Brogues
I think you understand that it is not enough to have just one pair of classic black shoes. A man still needs at least 1-2 pairs of shoes, for different styles and occasions in life.
The second pair of shoes, after black classic shoes, I would recommend buying brown Borgs. If you don't really like curly leather patches, then take a look at Oxfords or Derby. The color combination of a suit and shoes can be found at bowandtie.ru here. In addition, you can read more about classic men's shoes.

15. Tie
A men's wardrobe must include a set of several classic silk ties and a pair of knitted ties. First of all, I recommend purchasing a solid dark blue, burgundy, gray and black tie. These 4 colors are suitable for all occasions. Additionally, you can buy a purple and pink tie.

As for knitted ties, they will fit a shirt with a button-down collar for smart casual or just casual styles.
For more details on how to match a tie to a shirt and suit, read our early publications at bowandtie.ru. By the way, we have a separate article on knitted ties, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with it. You can also learn how to tie a tie on our website.

16. Pocket Square
Perhaps the most budget-friendly way to add flavor to your style is to use a pocket square. It is best to use traditional colors: white, navy blue, burgundy or brown. Additionally, you can buy a pink and purple scarf.
Try not to buy tie and tents made from the same material. Absolutely the same color and pattern on the scarf and tie looks boring and trite. Instead, try matching shades and patterns. For example, tie a solid navy blue tie and fold the blue pocket square with white polka dots. This combination will look great and not be embarrassing.
If you don't like to stand out, under any tie, fold a regular white silk scarf. By the way, we have prepared instructions with pictures, where you can see how to fold a pocket square in different ways.

17. Shorts
In summer, when it is + 30 degrees Celsius outside, it is quite hot to wear chinos or khakis. For this occasion, shorts in classic colors such as dark blue, gray, beige, olive or even white are an excellent choice. These colors are easy to match with the polo shirt colors we talked about earlier, so it's easy to match the colors.
The shorts should be just above the knees. Do not buy breeches that are sewn with a rather long leg, below the knee. When choosing the materials from which the shorts should be made, pay attention first of all to linen, then to cotton.

18. Classic boots
In cooler seasons, there is no better shoe than classic boots. It can be Chukka or Chelsea boots, in any case, this is a great addition to the versatile men's wardrobe.
Whichever style you prefer, the best colors are dark brown, brown, gray, black or light brown. Classic boots are especially suitable for smart casual dress code. By the way, we have an article about men's winter shoes that I recommend reading.

19. Classic watches
More recently, I published an article on how to choose a watch for a man. Therefore, I could not fail to mention this men's accessory.
Every guy should have a watch. Which model you should choose depends on what taste, style, and most importantly budget you have.
A watch with a round dial, a white background, a leather strap and three hands that show hours, minutes and seconds can be considered a classic option. Everything else is not so important when we talk about classics, so a watch like this can be bought for $ 100 – $ 150.

20. Leather belt
If you have well chosen trousers for your figure, then you do not need to wear a belt. However, many people, myself included, prefer to always use a belt as one of their men's accessories. A good belt perfectly complements a business dress code or an informal style.
The main rule is: black shoes – black belt; brown shoes – brown belt. More details on how to choose a belt for yourself can be found in earlier publications.

In conclusion of the second part
Summing up the results of the second part of the article on how to choose clothes for a man, we can say with confidence that we have greatly diversified our universal wardrobe. In the second part, to a greater extent, I have added things that are suitable for smart casual style. Hence the more varied color range of wardrobe items and the availability of accessories that complement the stylish male image.
In the third part of the article, we will analyze 10 more items of men's wardrobe that deserve to be drawn to their attention. Until next time in the next article!
