Continuing the series of articles (part one and part two) on how to choose clothes for a man, we will analyze the third dozen necessary things that should be in the wardrobe.

Let me remind you that the main idea that I have been pursuing throughout the entire series of articles is to choose the most versatile classic man's wardrobe, the details of which can be easily combined with each other. Such a wardrobe can exist outside the framework of fashion, since the classics will always be in trend. So let's go.

21. Classic sunglasses

Some sunglasses will never go out of style. For example, Wayfarers, Aviators or Browliners are as popular today as they were 20 years ago. So, there is no doubt about calling these forms classics.

It is important to choose the right glasses for your face shape, and not be stingy when buying. The fact is that poor quality glasses can affect vision, and this is no longer a joke. Good glass on spectacles is the result of complex manufacturing work. Such glasses will protect from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation, while looking very stylish, for example, with a green or brown coating.

As for the color of the frame of the glasses, the classic ones can be called: black, gold, silver / steel, the color of the tortoise shell. As a rule, these colors are suitable for all people with any face shape.

22. Plaid shirt

An indispensable element of a man's casual style is a plaid shirt. She is a recognized classic of menswear, so she can be found both on a student from England and on a worker in Brazil.

As a rule, plaid shirts are made of cotton, but in the cold season a flannel shirt is more suitable; in the warm season – a linen shirt.

There is a huge variety of colors of plaid shirts, so I will not dare to list them all. Popular include plaid, black and white, and khaki and beige.

23. Cardigan

One of the types of sweaters that can be recommended for a collection of universal things is the cardigan. In my opinion, a great solution in the off-season, when the weather is not so cold as to be very warm, and not so hot to wear one shirt or T-shirt.

A cardigan in dark blue or gray in medium knit can be considered universal. Take a closer look at the texture, you may like a cardigan with a braid or diamond pattern. Combined with a shirt, button-down collar and knitted tie, you can get a great smart casual look in which to go to work, even if you have a dress code. For a regular walk with friends, a shirt can be replaced with a T-shirt, and in this form create a casual style.

24. Trench coat

Another classic measure for cool and off-season weather is a trench coat. Burberry remains the ancestor and leader in the production of this type of coat, therefore the third name for a coat is a coat from Burberry.

The classic color of the trench coat is beige. It is recommended to buy a beige coat, as it looks good with blue things that can be worn under it. A dark trench coat will blend in with your dark clothes, and it will not look so stylish in a rainy autumn.

Under a trench coat, things like chinos or dark jeans, a shirt with a button-down collar, a plunging cardigan, a classic suit, or just a jacket / blazer are perfect.

25. Classic sneakers

In your versatile wardrobe, you need to keep at least one classic sneakers so that it is convenient to walk along the city streets. A distinction should be made between sneakers for walking or running and classic-shaped sneakers.

Traditionally, classic sneakers are made in white, black, gray or navy blue. I do not recommend considering the rest of the colors, because it will be extremely difficult to choose clothes for them. Choose sneakers made of genuine leather or suede, with a minimum of decorative elements and patches. The more minimal the design, the better.

Classic leather sneakers go well with chinos or khakis. If you have the courage, you can wear sneakers under a classic suit in an informal color, for example, blue, green, orange, purple, and so on.

26. Scarf

I think every man has a scarf, especially if you live in a cold climate. To retain heat, scarves are made from wool, cashmere or a blend with synthetic fibers for durability.

For warm weather, a linen or cotton scarf is more suitable. It is chilly in the mornings or evenings, even in the hottest countries, so many keep a pair of scarves in their wardrobe.

By the way, some men use a scarf instead of a tie, if the setting is not very formal and allows a little liberties.

When choosing a scarf color, be guided by navy blue, beige, brown and burgundy. It is better to choose traditional patterns, for example, a square or just lines that can complement other details of your wardrobe.

27. Travel bag

A travel bag is a must if you go to the gym or frequently travel long distances. The bag can be leather or fabric, and can hold at least a set of clothes for a 1-2 day business trip.

Occasionally there are men in airports or train stations who have packed their things in an 'Adibbas' bag (I spell it right) bought at the local market. This is not serious, even if you have a modest budget. A sports backpack also looks questionable with a business suit, so make your choice in favor of buying a special travel bag.

28. Heavy boots

It is very important to keep your feet warm, so heavy boots or work boots are the best protection against cold and water. In addition, if the weather is comparable to a flood or flood, then you can take a closer look at duck-toed boots or even rubber boots.

For example, in large cities, there are situations, for a year a pile of slush lies on the sidewalks or an endless stream of water rushes down the road. It is difficult not to get wet in such situations, so you should buy at least one pair of boots for such an occasion.

By the way, after a walk through the dirty slush, reagents will probably remain on the boots. Therefore, it is recommended to rinse all shoes with warm water to avoid salt stains. After that, it is recommended to clean your shoes.

29. Slim wallet

Just recently, I have come to appreciate the usefulness of a slim wallet. Going to the party, my friend took only a couple of cards and a few banknotes with him, placing everything in a small leather wallet. Putting it in the inside pocket of his jacket, he did not bother him in the least, and he calmly went off to have fun.

I, in turn, was forced to take with me a large purse, where there are a couple of dozen cards, business cards, and the main inconvenience is a handful of iron change, which weighs 150 grams. All this did not fit into any pocket, and if it did, it interfered with free movement.

There is only one conclusion – you need to have a thin wallet and leave everything unnecessary at home in order to free your hands and not fiddle with a large wallet.
