Schwarzreiter Tagesbar & Restaurant

Rating: 4.9

Schwarzreiter Tagesbar & Restaurant

There are only 13 Michelin-starred restaurants in Munich. Among these establishments is the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar & Restaurant located in the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski hotel. The name 'Schwarzreiter' corresponds to the fashionableness of the establishment. This is the name of a truly royal dish that Ludwig II adored. Schwarzreiter is a smoked char from the freshwater lake Chiemsee, 70 km from Munich. This dish is still number 1 in the restaurant. But, of course, there are many other delicacies here. After all, the restaurant's team is making every effort to make traditional Bavarian cuisine more interesting and healthier. To this end, 'heavy' and 'rough' ingredients are excluded, the classic recipe is being improved. The result is delicious dishes with a delicate flavor and unusual texture. And if you are not very familiar with Bavarian cuisine, you can safely rely on the recommendations of the waiters – the staff here is highly professional and friendly.

Broeding

Rating: 4.8

Broeding

Broeding is one of the most popular gourmet restaurants in Munich. The high prices in this institution justify themselves, because the food here is amazingly tasty. And although the interior does not have any special delights, many guests note that this is even for the best – nothing distracts from enjoying food in a warm, almost homely atmosphere.

Manuel Reheis (both the chef and the co-owner of the establishment) does not change the innovative concept that the restaurant has followed since its opening back in 1990. There are only 6 dishes on the menu and they change every night. Thus, every time here you can try completely unique dishes, the secrets of the preparation of which the staff are happy to share with the guests.

It also offers excellent Austrian wines and signature desserts. A visit to Broeding is not only a new gastronomic experience, but a real show where you can learn a lot about the preparation of food and the wines served.

The original interior, in which elements of the colonial style are harmoniously intertwined with modernity, contributes to the creation of a relaxed atmosphere.

Little London Bar& Grill

Little London is an institution that opened just a few years ago, but quickly gained popularity among both residents and visitors to Munich. The reasons are quite clear: there is a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The first was achieved thanks to the thoughtful interior in the English style, where there is nothing superfluous, but all together creates the feeling as if you were in good old England.

The second is the merit of the chef. Konstantin Grailer prepares meat in such a way that hardly anyone can remain indifferent. Grilled steaks are a staple at Little London. There are also many seafood dishes on the menu, great desserts. The restaurant also boasts a good selection of alcoholic beverages, and the bar offers extraordinary cocktails, including non-alcoholic, organic, at quite reasonable prices. This tremendous success is largely due to the chef. The Tyrolean Hans Haas is famous for his ability to culinary minimization, when recipes are not supplemented with new ingredients, but on the contrary, everything unnecessary is removed. At the same time, the master has his favorite foods, such as goose liver, from which he prepares a variety of dishes – from ordinary soup to such extravagant combinations as liver with eel and beets.

El gaucho

Rating: 4.7

El gaucho

This place will be appreciated by lovers of steaks – according to the reviews of visitors, in El Gaucho the meat is simply delicious. Indeed, steak is the main dish on the menu. But vegetarians will also find here a lot of interesting culinary offerings, atypical for German gastronomic establishments. After all, the second 'specialty' of El Gaucho is Argentine cuisine.

However, in the interior, the theme of involvement in Argentina is practically not played up. The hall is decorated in a European style, with restraint and no design excesses. Natural materials and the same natural colors prevail, which creates a special atmosphere of comfort and tranquility.

Reservation is not necessary, but it is better to book seats in advance, since the restaurant is often completely full – this is an institution in high esteem both among residents of Munich and among guests of the Bavarian capital.

  • Prices are above average.

Pfistermühle

Rating: 4.7

Pfistermühle

The 'Pfistermühle' restaurant is also included in the lucky list of Michelin stars. The institution is located in an old building, where in the 16th century there was a mill and a bakery. The designers tried to preserve not only the spirit of antiquity, but also the history of this room, and used very non-standard solutions (for example, lampshades are made of flour sacks). There is a lot of wood, forged elements that create a particularly harmonious atmosphere.

The same harmony is felt on the menu, which is based on traditional Bavarian cuisine. The chef interprets ancient dishes in a modern way. Unusual combinations of products, original approach to serving – this is what gourmets will be able to appreciate.

As for a restaurant of this class, Pfistermühle has a fairly loyal pricing policy. For example, a lunch that includes an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert will cost around 70 Euros
