Removing fresh stains from clothes and tablecloths
Chalk powder
If a piece of chalk or chalk powder is lying around in the household, why not use it to remove fresh dirt? Rub the fabric with chalk and sprinkle with the composition crushed to a powder for greater efficiency. Leave the material for a couple of hours, then rinse the product under running water
Salt
The principle of operation of salt, in general, is quite similar to the action of sugar. In the case of sugar, it is necessary to lightly lather the dirt, then sprinkle generously with fine salt and leave for a while. When the salt is completely absorbed, brush the dirt well and rinse the cleaned cloth with warm running water.
Laundry soap
A universal remedy for combating all kinds of dirt and greasy is no exception. To quickly remove the oil stain from the fabric, you need to take a bar of laundry soap, moisten it in water and lather the dirty area of the material well. Wrap it in cellophane and leave for 10-12 hours. Then rinse with clean water.
Sugar
If methods like laundry soap have already been exhausted, and the contamination has not been removed, try an unconventional way to deal with oil stains. First, thoroughly lather the contaminated area with laundry soap, then sprinkle with sugar and leave to act for 15 minutes. Then wipe the area with a brush and rinse off the sugar with warm water. Send to the washing machine.
Blotter
A simple and effective product that will easily remove the oil trail, but only if it is completely fresh. You will need regular blotting paper (2 pieces of paper). Put a dirty cloth on one of them, cover with the second on top and run over its surface with a warm iron. Repeat the manipulation until the trail from the fabric is completely transferred to the blotter.
Ammonia solution
You can use a proven product to remove minor dirt. Soak a cotton pad in ammonia and carefully treat the dirt with it, let it soak well. Then remove the remaining stains and send the product to the wash.
Removing old stains from clothes and tablecloths
Glycerol
To remove stubborn oil stains, it is not necessary to use aggressive products. You can try a simple and effective remedy – glycerin. Soak a cotton swab well in it and wipe the dirty area. Leave to act for a couple of hours, then send to the wash.
Vinegar
Plain table vinegar (9%) can also help remove stubborn oil stains. Just mix warm water and vinegar in equal proportions, and soak the soiled cloth in the resulting composition for 10-15 minutes. Next, wash the product as usual.
Starch
Simply sprinkle starch over the slightly soaked stain and rub thoroughly over the stained area. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse under running water. Send the garment to the wash immediately.
Turpentine
Turpentine is quite aggressive, so make sure it doesn't damage the fabric before using it to remove oil residue. To remove any greasy contamination, gently moisten a cotton swab in the composition and rub thoroughly into the surface / material. Leave it on for a couple of hours. Then send it to the wash.
Removing oil stains from upholstered furniture
Grease stains can be easily removed from the fabric / leather surfaces of furniture using simple tools that are always at hand:

A fresh trace can be removed with salt and alcohol. First, sprinkle a generous amount of fine salt on the dirty area and rub in thoroughly for a few minutes. Remove any remaining salt and wipe the area well with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

Using a paper towel and an iron, you can easily remove the greasy residue from the sofa upholstery. Simply place a napkin on the dirty part of the fabric upholstery and run over it several times with a warm iron. Repeat the action until the contamination is completely transferred to the paper.

If you find a very fresh oil stain on your leather furniture, try removing it with egg white. Whip it into a strong foam and work over the surface of the product. Then wash off the protein with water.

If the pollution has already eaten into the leather upholstery, it does not matter: mix equal parts starch and gasoline. Treat the surface of the furniture with the resulting mixture. When the mixture is dry, simply wipe off any residue with a soft, dry cloth.
