Of course, this model has a number of limitations. For example, it contains only 6 GB of video memory, albeit corresponding to the GDDR6 standard. Data movement is carried out over a 192-bit bus. As a result, the memory bandwidth is only 336 GB / s.

Another product received at its disposal 1920 CUDA cores. Relatively little, but this is still more than the amount that previous generations of video cards could boast, which are now sold several times cheaper. Thirdly, third-party manufacturers have been in a hurry for a long time – their solutions were presented by MSI, PALIT and some other companies.

Most of all, this video card will appeal to owners of VR headsets. The performance of this solution is quite enough to produce two high-resolution images. And one cannot but pay attention to the fact that only one fan is enough for the device. However, third-party manufacturers can provide the adapter with a different cooling system – with a larger number of “turntables”, but noticeably quieter.

Perhaps this is its only serious drawback. Apparently, while the mobile version of the GeForce RTX 2080 will be received exclusively by top-end gaming machines, the cost of which starts from 180-200 thousand rubles.

So far we can only build theory about this video card. The fact is that the chip was announced quite recently. This means that we still know very few of its characteristics. Well, the mass production of laptops equipped with it will have to wait about six months. Nevertheless, at the time of compiling the rating, it is known that the product must receive support for video memory of the GDDR6 standard, data from which is read over a 256-bit bus. Also, the chip should receive 2944 shader processors. The video card will operate at a frequency of 1380 MHz, and if necessary, it will be possible to activate the Boost mode, in which the frequency will rise to 1590 MHz.

Alas, the product has not yet been tested in the most recent 'battle'. However, there is no doubt that the chip will definitely pull this game at ultra-graphics settings and when displaying images at 4K. It was with her help that some publications tested the mobile version of the GeForce RTX 2070. However, a lot remained unclear. How does the GPU behave when displaying an image at an increased resolution? The fact is that the laptop screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, which seems to be an insufficient parameter by today's standards. It is clear that the GPU can easily cope with Battlefield V at this resolution, even with ray tracing enabled – the laptop produces over 50 frames / s. However, when switching to ultra settings, serious FPS drops begin. All this is relevant when the neighborhood is not the most powerful processor.

However, even this may not be enough for the perfect launch of some modern games. However, GTA V at high graphics settings comes with an average frame rate of 71 fps when it comes to resolution Full HD. Problems are caused by the third 'The Witcher' – at maximum settings and a resolution of 1080p, it can only be played at a frequency of 41 fps. But is it really necessary to say that such video cards are terribly expensive? However, what else could you expect from devices that show the maximum of what modern NVIDIA creations are capable of?

The most powerful video card at the time of the rating is Quadro RTX 6000. As the name implies, the device supports ray tracing (this is done by the RT cores). This monster costs about $ 6,300. Such a purchase is affordable only for professionals who earn a lot of money. It makes no sense to check such a video card in games, unless just for the sake of curiosity.

The power consumption of the Quadro RTX 6000 reaches 295W – even server processors Intel use less power. The product includes 4608 CUDA cores – it is simply impossible to fit more of them on such a small device. At least until NVIDIA has learned to create them at an even more subtle level. This model also received 24 GB of GDDR6 video memory.

The manufacturer claims that the performance of his creation reaches 16.3 teraflops. It seems that this is quite enough to simultaneously display a picture on four monitors, and even with a high resolution. By the way, only DisplayPort 1.4 connectors are used for this. The product also received a VirtualLink jack (actually USB Type-C) – it is used to transfer images to a virtual reality headset.

As usual, these video cards can be combined into one common array. The corresponding bridge costs $ 80 – also not cheap.

Of course, such a video card supports DirectX 12. It can display a picture with a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels to its maximum. It is possible to connect four monitors at the same time using DisplayPort connectors.

This video card is not new. Therefore, you shouldn't be surprised that the video memory included in it complies with the GDDR5X standard. Its volume is 24 GB, which should suit any professional. Interaction with memory is carried out via, as you might guess, 384-bit bus.

In fact, the Quadro P6000 video card has no particular drawbacks, if you forget about the astronomical price tag. Yes, there is no ray tracing support here. But if you are not a game developer, you are unlikely to be disappointed. And even when developing games, this video adapter can find many uses – for example, it can be used to create 3D objects. Perhaps, you can find fault with this video card only about its power consumption. It reaches 250 watts. Of course, the 'turntable' cooling hot chip can make a noticeable noise. But this is not important, because the adapter will be installed in the server, which by itself will definitely not be quiet.

One of the most inexpensive graphics stations among those intended for use inside the server. For this model in Russian stores they ask about 70 thousand rubles. Of course, for that kind of money, you shouldn't expect to get some kind of monster capable of delivering perfect graphics at the maximum frame rate. The manufacturer's savings are noticeable at least in the amount of video memory, which is only 8 GB. And it belongs only to the GDDR5 standard. I am glad that at least the memory bus is 256-bit here – this provides a bandwidth of 243 GB / s.

The product includes only 1,792 CUDA cores. Also on the video card, you can find four DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The manufacturer promises that there will be no problems even if the connected monitors have 5K resolution.

The video card operates at a clock frequency of 1227 MHz. If you activate the Boost mode, then this parameter rises to an impressive 1480 MHz. I am glad that the components used here do not consume a very large amount of energy – only about 105 watts. This means that a computer with one such graphics card can use a modest 450W power supply.

Many people buy this video adapter not only for professional purposes, but also for running games. Why not? The video card is more affordable than many analogues from the GeForce RTX series, while it is not much inferior to them. Also at one time it was an excellent option for mining cryptocurrency.
