19 best acoustic guitars

Hobbies and creativity

Review of the best according to the editorial board. On the selection criteria. This material is subjective, does not constitute advertising and does not serve as a purchase guide. Before buying, you need to consult with a specialist.

Have you decided to buy your first acoustic guitar? Prepare to face tough choices. You will find dozens of different guitars in any music store. How do you know which one suits you completely? This is the question that this article will answer. We will tell you about the main features of the choice, as well as give short descriptions of those guitars that are now considered the best. The rating will focus not only on professional models, which are very expensive, but also on guitars for beginners.

How to choose an acoustic guitar?

When choosing a guitar, even musicians who have been doing their favorite thing for many years experience certain difficulties. The fact is that each guitar is individual, it should be judged not by its characteristics, but by its sound. Therefore, it will not hurt to go to a real store, where you can touch the guitar, play it. Ideally, your choice of acoustic guitar should consist of the following steps:

  1. Determining your budget is an important step in determining how good a guitar you buy. It is better to decide on its approximate price in advance, otherwise you risk starting to want to buy an increasingly expensive acoustic guitar with every salary. By the way, you don't have to learn to play a cheap musical instrument. Therefore, if you have a lot of money, then take one of the most expensive guitars – it will serve for many years.
  2. The choice of the country of the manufacturer and brand – try not to look in the direction of domestic guitars, our factories are able to sensibly make only classical guitars, and even then with certain reservations. Ideal musical instruments are created by Japanese and American companies. In particular, you will definitely be delighted with an acoustic guitar from Yamaha or Ibanez. German, Czech and Korean guitars also sound great.
  3. The choice of material of manufacture – any guitar is made of wood. Importantly, the deck top and sidewalls can be constructed from different materials. This is not to say that some kind of wood will be better or worse – the guitars created from them sound differently. For example, spruce produces a booming, crisp and harsh sound. The sides and backs can be made of mahogany, maple and rosewood – in all these cases you will also have a different sound. It will only be possible to evaluate it when the guitar is in your hands.
  4. Checking the build quality is the final step. Ideally, the guitar should be tested before buying. Estimate the thickness of the case – it must be decent, otherwise the musical instrument will start to scare you with its fragility. Remember to pick up the guitar in the manner of a gun, using the body as the stock. This way you can look at the flatness of the neck, making sure it is even. By the way, if the neck is glued to the body, then estimate the distance between the fret and the string – it should be no more than 4-5 mm.

In fact, choosing an acoustic guitar has many other subtleties. But our article is designed for beginners, and all of the above will be enough for them. Experienced musicians will skip straight to the second part of the material, which contains information on the best guitars with a fairly high price tag.

Which guitar is better: classical or acoustic?

A sore question. Many people ask them regularly. Isn't it better to buy a classical guitar instead of an acoustic one? How do they differ at all? Well, let's figure it out.

The classical guitar is similar in design to the Spanish. That is why she is regularly referred to as 'Spanish'. It has a wide neck with nylon strings. Also, such a guitar has a narrower body, in connection with which the sound produced is more dull.

The acoustic guitar has steel strings, its sound is more sonorous and rich. The neck of such a guitar is longer and narrower, and it also has a more comfortable truss rod. The body of an acoustic guitar is slightly larger.

You must have realized by now that it is impossible to say that one type of guitar is better than another. Many professional musicians choose the acoustic guitar. But this does not mean that there is not a single person who likes the sound produced by a classical guitar more. And in terms of its design, the classic version may seem more convenient to someone (especially for short people). Also, it is on the 'classic' that it is easiest to play by brute-force.

Best inexpensive acoustic guitars

YAMAHA F-310

Rating: 4.8

YAMAHA F-310

Great entry-level tool. Only for 10 thousand rubles. you are getting an acoustic guitar from a reputable Japanese manufacturer. The top of this instrument is made of spruce, the cheapest and easiest wood to work with. As the manufacturer assures, the guitar has a decent sounding, it manages to convey even the most subtle shades of mood. One cannot fail to note the memorable design – the tool cannot be called ordinary or ordinary.

The Japanese tried to slightly reduce the depth of the case and shorten the length of the scale. This almost did not affect the sound quality, but it became more convenient to play. They created the back and sides of meranti. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. It is almost impossible to find fault with the quality of performance.

We would not be an online magazine if we had not warned about the shortcomings. Despite the fact that the instrument is included in our rating, be prepared for the fact that the sound of the guitar is very specific. The high frequencies are expressed too strongly here, while the low ones are almost inaudible. If you have a good ear for music, then you need to look for a more balanced model. Also, the reviews mention the high height of the lower threshold – by adjusting the anchor, this is treated, but not completely.

Advantages

  • Low cost;
  • Quality manufacturing;
  • Nice looking design;
  • Comfortable use;
  • High prevalence in Russian stores.

disadvantages

  • It is recommended to file the lower nut slightly;
  • The sound goes to the high frequencies.

ENYA EA-X1

Rating: 4.7

ENYA EA-X1

Another acoustic guitar of the western type. It is distinguished from the above version by the top, shells and back, which have a KOA HPL pattern. In fact, this is all high pressure laminate. This method of applying a pattern is easy and cheap, but its ideal preservation is hardly guaranteed for many years.

The average cost of this model in Russian stores is 13 thousand rubles. Not bad, especially considering the tool comes with a case. Some online stores also provide replacement strings, a guitar pick and a strap. But let's get back to the guitar itself. Its escutcheon and tailpiece are made using ebony technology. The tuning pegs are cast – they are made of black steel. The neck was made of mahogany. If we talk about sound, then it will hardly surprise you. The Chinese have not yet learned how to create ideal musical instruments, so one copy can be very balanced in terms of sound, while the other can go to high or low frequencies. And not all specimens have high-quality manufacturing. That is why you should be very careful when buying such an acoustic guitar from an online store.

Advantages

  • Great design;
  • Low cost;
  • The sound should suit every beginner;
  • Comes with a case, and most often with other gifts;
  • The guitar is not affected by changes in humidity or temperature.

disadvantages

  • Ideal appearance not for many years;
  • The sound of different guitars can vary greatly.

FENDER ESC80 NATURAL CLASSICAL 3/4

Rating: 4.7

FENDER ESC80 NATURAL CLASSICAL

As the name suggests, this guitar is 3/4 in size. It is also easy to see that the instrument belongs to the classic six-string type. The guitar comes without a pickup, like most of the other models reviewed in our rating.

Despite the low cost, the sound of this instrument is balanced. There are no complaints about the sound saturation either. In terms of its construction, the guitar is almost not surprising. The buyer will find a traditional spruce top. Agathis was used to make the sides and back. All this led to pleasant overtones. Some specimens still have more pronounced high frequencies than low ones. It should also be noted that even a child can use such a guitar – thanks to its reduced size, it will not seem too large to him.

The resonator hole of this model has an original finish. The design of the entire top deck as a whole should also please – especially its black edging. However, the guitar cannot be called memorable. Even a mahogany neck isn't really anything special. Yes, it has a rosewood fingerboard. But what modern acoustic guitars can't boast of this? In a word, this is a typical musical instrument sold in our country for very little money (although it cannot be called very cheap). It is ideal for first-time buyers. All that remains is to get a good instrumental microphone, after which you can write your first songs!

Advantages

  • Reduced size;
  • Traditional spring system;
  • The set includes a cover;
  • Sufficiently high-quality assembly;
  • Nice appearance;
  • Low price.

disadvantages

  • The design is not memorable;
  • Low frequencies are not very pronounced.

MARTINEZ FAW – 702 B

Rating: 4.6

MARTINEZ FAW - 702 B

Do you have any desire to purchase an acoustic guitar in the usual light colors? In this case, we recommend taking a look at MARTINEZ FAW – 702 B. This musical instrument got into our rating not only due to the case, which has a deep black color, but also due to its very low cost. Spend 6 thousand rubles on buying a guitar. even many students can. They will be completely satisfied with both the design and the workmanship.

This six-string guitar offers 20 frets. Its top is created, as you might guess, from spruce. Agathis was used for the production of the sides and back. The instrument also includes a neck made of mahogany. It is complemented by a rosewood fingerboard, on which the strings and all the markings are clearly visible. The nut is made of rosewood.

The guitar is made in China. But this can be said about almost all entry-level models. No Czechs and Americans will sell their creations for very little money. However, even a Chinese guitar can sound pretty good. There is also an impression that such a tool will serve for a very long time. However, if you want to make money with your music, then soon you will still notice some imbalance in the sound and a certain ceiling, which the guitar has no way of breaking through. In this case, it is recommended to replace MARTINEZ FAW – 702 B with some more professional model.

Advantages

  • Black body color;
  • There are variations with other deck colors;
  • Very low cost;
  • Reliable neck;
  • Present in many music stores.

disadvantages

  • Perfectly balanced cannot be called;
  • Meager equipment.

Colombo LF-3800CT SB

Rating: 4.5

Colombo LF-3800CT SB

The most budget-friendly acoustic guitar in our ranking. Like the rest of the tools discussed above, it belongs to the 'western' type. This model differs from some competitors in that it provides 21 frets. Also, not every guitar is capable of boasting a bassboard made of basswood. However, you must understand that this is not an advantage or a disadvantage. This is simply a feature of the product that does not need to be prejudiced.

Russian stores sell Colombo LF-3800CT SB for only 4 thousand rubles. And it must be the prettiest guitar in this price segment. Its top has a striped sunburst color. Whether the perfect appearance will last for a long time is a question that has not yet been answered. But such a guitar is unlikely to be bought for life.

The sides with the bottom deck are also made of linden. It also features a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. The guitar weighs about 2 kg, and it is made, of course, in China.

If you read the reviews on the Colombo LF-3800CT SB, then only positive impressions are formed about the guitar. However, this is the case when one specimen can differ very much from another. There are also defective products with a very low quality assembly – even novice musicians will not appreciate them. Therefore, we recommend buying this guitar only in an offline store, so that you can evaluate it before parting with your money. Buying from the online store – only at your own peril and risk!

Advantages

  • Straight neck 21 frets;
  • High-quality assembly;
  • Very low price;
  • Spectacular design;
  • Sounds good.

disadvantages

  • Not the best strings included;
  • Some copies are defective.

The best mid-range acoustic guitars

CRAFTER D-7 / N

Rating: 4.9

CRAFTER D-7

If you want to buy yourself a guitar for a sufficiently long period of use, then you will have to part with several tens of thousands of rubles. In particular, CRAFTER D-7 / N is an excellent choice – a musical instrument for which they ask for 30-32 thousand rubles. This guitar comes in a gray case. The guitar itself has a natural wood color. The relatively high cost of the instrument is evidenced by the fact that its top is made of solid cedar. Also in the manufacture of this model used mahogany. It is thanks to the latter that the guitar is able to boast of a viscous and viscous sound, which at the same time seems enveloping.

The product has a narrow neck, and therefore it is not recommended to play such a guitar with your fingers – a pick should be used instead. The attachment here is in the form of a traditional 'dovetail'. In this respect, CRAFTER D-7 / N is almost indistinguishable from other western-shaped guitars. The fretboard has an Indian rosewood fingerboard that can last as long as you like. Finishing the conversation about the appearance, one cannot fail to mention the curly iridescent overlay placed on the guitar body.

This musical instrument is manufactured in South Korea. The workmanship is beyond praise. This can be said not only after external inspection, but also during weighing – the guitar turned out to be quite heavy.

Advantages

  • Comes with a branded case;
  • Great sounding;
  • There are chrome-plated tuners;
  • Matte finish used;
  • Great appearance;
  • Good strings included.

disadvantages

  • To some, such a design will still seem boring.

SIGMA 00M-15

Rating: 4.8

SIGMA 00M-15

Another guitar in our rating, the purchase of which will take you about 30 thousand rubles. It is made in China. But the quality of performance here is noticeably higher than that of the Chinese guitars discussed in the first part of this article. The saddle of this instrument is bone. The top deck was made of solid mahogany. The shell and the back are made of it. Such material allowed the creators to achieve an even sound – the guitar does not go into either the lower or the upper frequencies. The neck made of the same mahogany also contributes to the melodic sound.

The item is supplied with brass strings. They are adjusted by means of cast chrome pegs placed symmetrically to each other. There is also a 645mm scale. The nut width is 42.9 mm. The frets are, as expected, instructed by dots.

In short, it is a universal six-string guitar. It is suitable for both study and regular music lessons. Perhaps only professionals who never look at Chinese guitars will not like it.

Advantages

  • The body is covered with transparent varnish;
  • Cast tuning pegs;
  • Bone nut;
  • Good sound;
  • Good enough strings included.

disadvantages

  • Supplied without cover;
  • Not all examples are durable.

FENDER CD-60S BLK

Rating: 4.8

FENDER CD-60S BLK

Already less expensive guitar, its cost in Russian stores is about 20 thousand rubles. It was created for fans of musical instruments painted black. Due to savings, the manufacturer had to use an array of spruce – it is from which the top is made. As for the sides and back, they are made of mahogany.

The body of this guitar is shaped like a 'dreadnought'. This is not the 'western' to which the cheaper musical instruments belong. This means that the sound is different here. The fretboard has 20 frets and a profile with rounded edges. The manufacturer claims that his creation is ideal for any style of play – from hard to pleasant brute force. The musician will have a balanced tone with plenty of midrange.

Of course, the FENDER CD-60S BLK is not perfect. You can find fault with the sills made of plastic. However, with such a price tag, it is clear that the best materials will not be used to create the tool.

Advantages

  • Chromed tuners;
  • Convenient neck shape;
  • Not very high cost;
  • Balanced sound;
  • Elegant appearance;
  • Good strings included.

disadvantages

  • The lane was created from plastic;
  • The spruce top will not suit everyone;
  • Supplied without cover.

Best professional acoustic guitars

IBANEZ AE900-NT

Rating: 4.9

IBANEZ AE900-NT

This is a completely different level. This guitar is an electro-acoustic guitar. Therefore, it has a pickup, which greatly simplifies the recording of music – no need to look for a high-quality microphone. Outwardly, this musical instrument almost does not stand out. If you look at it from afar, it seems that the musician is holding an ordinary acoustic guitar, which is sold for several tens of thousands of rubles. Only if you look at the instrument closely, all the differences become visible. But even after that, you don't believe that such a guitar is sold for 230 thousand rubles.

This model features a satin-finished mahogany neck. It also uses bone nut and rosewood fretboard. As for the soundboard, it is made of rosewood, while the front part was created from an array of Sitka spruce. The pleasant appearance is complemented by the maple inlaid rosette. It should be noted that chrome fittings sparkle brightly in the lights of the concert hall.

The guitar includes a 651mm scale and IBANEZ T-bar pickups, complete with an IBANEZ Custom preamp. On the whole, it is a wonderful musical instrument in an elegant body. This modern model combines quality materials and top-end electronics. Please note that the top is glossy – handle the guitar with care or it will gradually scratch. However, let's not scare you – only sharp objects can pierce the varnish.

Advantages

  • Perfect workmanship;
  • There is a preamplifier;
  • The guitar is supplemented with a piezo pickup;
  • Bone nut;
  • Chromed tuners;
  • Great appearance;
  • Relatively light weight.

disadvantages

  • Very high cost.

GIBSON J-35 ANTIQUE NATURAL

Rating: 4.8

GIBSON J-35 ANTIQUE NATURAL

Another electro-acoustic guitar in our rating, but already at a significantly lower price. For about 150 thousand rubles. the musician will receive a wonderful instrument, the top of which is made of the same Sitka spruce. Also, the buyer is waiting for the shell and the lower deck made of mahogany. The neck is made of the same wood species. His fingerboard is made of rosewood – in this regard, the guitar is almost indistinguishable from less expensive counterparts. And why change anything? Rosewood is a durable material that is why guitar makers love it.

The fretboard offers 20 frets inlaid with dots. The nut installed here is 44.5 mm wide. The professional musician will immediately notice the presence of a vintage X-shaped spring system. If you look closely, you can see some of its improvements compared to the 90s. And the guitar sounds much better than those instruments that were used several decades ago.

The LR Baggs VTC pickup is used here to transfer music to acoustics. Other features of the guitar include manual processing of the bridge and its impregnation with special oil. The fretboard is also impregnated with it, which further increases its lifespan. The manufacturer also claims that the new oil composition improves the natural vibration of wood. In short, it is extremely difficult to find fault with this modern equivalent of the famous Gibson flat-top guitar with rounded shoulders.

Advantages

  • Vintage spring system used;
  • The edges of the fretboard are rounded;
  • Excellent pickup;
  • The guitar is impregnated with special oil;
  • Perfect glossy finish;
  • Sounds great.

disadvantages

  • No preamp;
  • Not everyone will like the price.

Best Classical Acoustic Guitars

ANTONIO SANCHEZ S-1005 CEDAR

Rating: 4.9

ANTONIO SANCHEZ S-1005 CEDAR

An excellent classical guitar selling for 35-37 thousand rubles. The quality of workmanship is evidenced by the fact that the tool is delivered to the shops from Spain. The manufacturer assures that his creations are created exclusively by hand, and therefore they have an excellent sound. You can't argue about the sound – the melody produced by a six-string guitar should suit every customer. But how the company achieves such circulations by hand is a question.

There are 19 fret markings on the neck of this guitar. This detail is made of mahogany wood, while the fingerboard is rosewood. Mahogany was also used to create the back. The upper one is made of selected solid cedar. The material of the pegs is not specified, but they have a golden coating – it immediately catches the eye.

It seems that the classical guitar that got into our rating is perfect for both beginner musicians and people who consider themselves masters of this art form. It must be one of the most inexpensive handcrafted and long lasting tools.

Advantages

  • Not the highest cost;
  • Classic gold-plated tuners;
  • Good sound;
  • The guitar is durable;
  • Made in Spain.

disadvantages

  • Unpretentious design.

CORT AC250 NAT

Rating: 4.8

CORT AC250 NAT

You are not going to spend tens of thousands of rubles on a classical guitar? Well, this does not mean that you will have to refuse to buy such a musical instrument. You can purchase CORT AC250 NAT. This is a pretty good guitar with 19 frets at its disposal. Its cost in Russia does not exceed 14 thousand rubles. Of course, for that kind of money, you get an instrument that looks almost indistinguishable from hundreds of other guitars in this price segment. But the fact that this model sounds good is much more important – it is difficult to find fault with both the volume and the richness of the melody. Basically, thanks for the good sound you need to tightly grip the parts of the guitar – it is due to it that the resonance of the body increases. Believe me, not all classical guitars in this price segment are assembled so well.

Like almost all modern musical instruments of this kind, the product is varnished. However, in this case the amount of varnish is kept to a minimum. This made it possible to simultaneously protect the guitar and not affect the beauty of the sound.

Like other inexpensive guitars, the CORT AC250 NAT features a spruce top. Well, for the manufacture of the shell and the bottom deck, mahogany was used. The neck is also made from it. The neck joint is made in the form of a dovetail. Not forgotten is the rosewood fretboard, on which the already mentioned 19 frets are inlaid. The nut width is 52 mm. On the end of the neck there are classic chrome tuners with brown petals.

Perhaps this guitar was included in our rating for a reason. For relatively little money, it offers a deep and resonant sound. At the same time, the tool turned out to be quite durable, which is extremely atypical for this price segment. It remains to add that it comes with DAddario EXP46N strings.

Advantages

  • Modern methods of varnishing were used;
  • Minimum weight;
  • Good quality materials;
  • Not very high cost;
  • Classic chrome tuners.

disadvantages

  • Meager equipment;
  • Simple design.

EPIPHONE PRO-1 CLASSIC

Rating: 4.7

EPIPHONE PRO-1 CLASSIC

Another very inexpensive classical guitar in our ranking. And this is one of the cheapest guitars out there with cedar tops. The tool was made, as you might guess, in China. However, there are no special complaints about the build quality. All parts are tightly fitted to each other, and therefore the sound is quite balanced.

The product has received a beautiful four-layer edging. However, the design cannot be called unique – in fact, the guitar does not stand out from other similar instruments, if we talk only about the budget segment. As for the materials for making the shell and the bottom deck, the manufacturer used the usual mahogany. The neck was also created from it, using a rosewood fingerboard. The neck here, by the way, is glued in. On it are nylon strings, which can be played in every way invented. The instrument also includes standard chrome tuners.

Otherwise, it's hard to say anything special about this guitar. Let's just add that it has a glossy finish.

Advantages

  • Low cost;
  • Good strings included;
  • Solid red cedar top;
  • Decent build quality
  • Quality tuners.

disadvantages

  • Not all examples are perfect;
  • It is unlikely that the tool is durable.

Best Western Acoustic Guitars

IBANEZ PF17 – LG DREADNOUGHT

Rating: 4.9

IBANEZ PF17 - LG

An excellent acoustic guitar that sells for a fairly low price. However, is it for sale? At the time of writing the rating, all copies are sold out. Whether the arrival of a new batch is expected – no one knows. However, we could not but tell about this model. This is a very cute folk guitar that crowns the PF series, which includes affordable musical instruments. The product has a cedar top, thanks to which the sound is soft and warm. For the rest of the body, mahogany was used, which is already a tradition. The manufacturer assures that his guitar turned out to be reliable and durable, in the reviews no one argues with this statement. It is also impossible not to notice that the instrument is ideal for both beginners and experienced musicians. Although it is clear that this is still not the ultimate dream.

The neck, created from the same mahogany, has 20 frets inlaid in the form of dots. It also includes a rosewood fingerboard. The bone tailpiece should also please. As for the hardware, it has a nickel-plated finish.

IBANEZ PF17 – LG DREADNOUGHT is that rare case when a guitar exists in two versions. For 15 thousand rubles. you get ordinary 'acoustics' without a pickup and everything else. But if you are willing to pay much more, then you get her electro-acoustic version, complemented by an electronic tuner and a low battery indicator.

Advantages

  • The set includes high quality strings;
  • The price is not high;
  • The top is made of cedar;
  • A bone tailpiece is used;
  • Durable construction.

disadvantages

  • There is no cover included.

Crafter MD-40 / N

Rating: 4.8

Crafter MD-40

Already slightly more expensive acoustic guitar. In Russian online stores, they ask for almost 30 thousand rubles. At the same time, a spruce top is used here, which not everyone will like. However, high quality wood is used here, so the sound is smooth and balanced. The perfect assembly also has a positive effect on the sound quality – all the body parts are perfectly fitted to each other, there are no gaps in sight. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the guitar lacks some sonority – the spruce makes the sound somewhat dull. The shell and back deck are made of mahogany. As for the bridge and neck, they are made of Indian rosewood. Fairly expensive guitars regularly receive chrome hardware. Crafter MD-40 / N is no exception to the rule.

This model is manufactured in South Korea. Like other Crafter guitars, the product comes with a signature gray case. And some online stores offer extra strings, a guitar pick and other gifts as a gift.

The guitar belongs to the dreadnought form factor. Outwardly, it is not unusual. But it does not look cheap either, which is insanely pleasing. It remains to add that the body of the guitar has a glossy finish, while the neck is matte. In short, this is a great option for your money!

Advantages

  • Excellent build quality
  • Chromed tuners;
  • Comes with a branded insulated cover;
  • Mother-of-pearl fret markers.

disadvantages

  • Sound seems slightly dull;
  • It is not clear whether an array of spruce is used or only a laminate.

Best electro-acoustic guitars

YAMAHA S LG 200S TBS

Rating: 4.9

YAMAHA S LG 200S TBS

Our rating could not do without electro-acoustic guitars. Including without such unusual creations as YAMAHA S LG 200S TBS. This model is distinguished by its monstrous shape. The deck area is kept to a minimum here. We can say that the musician will hold in his hands only one very long neck, made of mahogany and having a rosewood fingerboard. The bridge is also made of rosewood.

The guitar comes in a proprietary case. Also included are two batteries and stereo headphones. The body of the musical instrument itself is painted in the color of 'tobacco sunburst'. The guitar turned out to be collapsible – the upper section of the frame can be detached. This means that you can take it with you somewhere to rehearsal without much difficulty.

As for the sound, in this regard, there are no complaints about the YAMAHA S LG 200S. The Japanese have collaborated with many recording artists to create SRT Powered technology. Its essence is to modulate the sound based on the tones of the highest class YAMAHA acoustic guitar. All sounds were recorded with the perfect microphone in a professional studio setting. At the same time, an electro-acoustic guitar is able to recreate even natural sustain. In a word, with such an instrument, a musician with good hearing will be able to feel even the resonance of the soundboard, its tonality and specific 'acoustic' atmosphere.

It should also be noted that the guitar allows mixing the signal of the piezo pickup and the sound of SRT Powered, thanks to which completely unique timbres are born. Someone else will be pleased that the instrument does not need to be connected to the microphone input – the deck installed here is already able to reproduce sound. At the same time, it sounds low, so you can learn the parts even at night, when it is undesirable to make noise. The manufacturer claims that its creation is about 90% quieter than a standard acoustic guitar.

As mentioned above, you can connect headphones to this model in order to listen to music in full. There is also a high-precision chromatic tuner. The guitar can work not only from batteries, but also from an AC mains.

Advantages

  • A large number of controls;
  • Easy switch to electric guitar mode;
  • Connection of headphones is possible;
  • An excellent tuner is built in;
  • Low game volume;
  • Made from quality materials;
  • Easy disassembled transportation;
  • Supplied with original case;
  • Possible to work on batteries and mains;
  • Great sounding.

disadvantages

  • Not everyone will like the cost.

CRAFTER HILITE-DE SP / VTG

Rating: 4.8

CRAFTER HILITE-DE SP

This guitar has a more classic look. To be precise, it has a dreadnought design. It is distinguished from other analogues by a rather large cutout on the side of the neck, as if someone had bitten off part of the body. The top is made of solid spruce. The sides, neck and back are made of mahogany. The fretboard, of course, has an Indian rosewood fingerboard. It has 20 frets inlaid with white dots. D'Addario EJ-26 strings hold chrome tuners. All this stuff comes complete with an insulated cover.

The presence of the C4T timbre block indicates the electro-acoustic status of the guitar. It consists of several regulators. There is even a four-band equalizer here, allowing you to fine-tune the sound of the instrument as precisely as possible. Also, the manufacturer introduced a phase change button, which should suppress feedback.

Otherwise, this is a typical electro-acoustic guitar. She will not offer you anything unusual. A professional will definitely want more. SIGMA DMC-15E

Rating: 4.7

SIGMA DMC-15E

Another electro-acoustic guitar, the cost of which in Russia varies from 38 to 45 thousand rubles. Its top is crafted from solid mahogany – this has led to a design that not every musician will be happy with. All other guitar parts are made from mahogany here. The fretboard, of course, has a rosewood fingerboard. You can see a notch on the body of the instrument – this is a trademark feature of most electro-acoustic guitars.

This model is made in China. Oddly enough, this does not mean the quality of its manufacture. The buyer is waiting for a solid assembly, where all the parts are ideally matched to each other. At the same time, high-quality material was chosen not only for creating the body – the manufacturer added cast chrome pegs here. Also, the guitar can boast that the saddle and nut are made of bone. On the electronics side, the Fishman Isys + is used with a tuner and a two-band equalizer.

Perhaps you can find fault with the guitar, but only in relation to its appearance. We must admit that not everyone will like this design. If we talk about the sound, then the product, of course, is inferior to Japanese guitars, but still it is able to fall in love and be remembered.

Advantages

  • The construction uses quality materials;
  • Bone nut;
  • Chrome fittings;
  • Good electronics.

disadvantages

  • Design is not for everybody;
  • Supplied without cover;
  • The price tag cannot be called low.

IBANEZ PF15ECE-TBS

Rating: 4.5

IBANEZ PF15ECE-TBS

This is one of the cheapest electro-acoustic guitars. At least among those that are worth paying attention to. It is also the only guitar in our rating, painted in black and blue colors. The top of the instrument is made of spruce, while it has a glossy lacquered finish. The rest of the cabinet was made from mahogany wood, which gives the lower frequencies a warmer look. The guitar should also please with a pleasant sustain.

At the end of the neck, there are cast chrome tuners that add a nice touch to the look. The product also includes an IBANEZ Under Saddle pickup. There is also an IBANEZ AEQ-2T preamp with a built-in tuner. Such electronics should suit any novice musician. Only professionals will note the not particularly rich customization options. It remains to add that the shape of the guitar belongs to the cutout dreadnought.

Advantages

  • Low cost;
  • High quality pickup;
  • Decent build quality
  • Cast chrome tuners;
  • Nice design;
  • Low weight.

disadvantages

  • The spruce top will not suit everyone.
  • Not the richest opportunities;

Conclusion

In this collection, we have tried to consider absolutely all the best acoustic guitars. But what can I say, it even included classical models, which, in theory, should have been described in a separate material. It is hoped that the article helped you, that with its help you will buy yourself the perfect musical instrument that will serve you for many years.
