15 best built-in hoods

Kitchen Product Ratings

Review of the best according to the editorial board. On the selection criteria. This material is subjective and does not constitute advertising and does not serve as a purchase guide. Before buying, you need to consult with a specialist.

The kitchen in the modern household is often a kind of “island” of high-tech household appliances. Electronic multi-functional cookers, smart refrigerators, multicooker and microwave ovens with dozens and hundreds of cooking modes are already considered the norm in the ordinary kitchen. Even the auxiliary parts of kitchen equipment are produced today in such a wide range that it is sometimes difficult to figure it out. One of such auxiliary, but practically irreplaceable types of equipment is hoods, and today's issue will be devoted to them. The editors bring to your attention an accessible guide for choosing a hood and a special rating of models, which, according to a combination of factors, were recognized as the best by our specialized specialists.

In this issue, we will only talk about hoods, structurally adapted for integration into kitchen furniture. This approach is intended to make the hood invisible, especially in cases where the kitchen interior is made in a vintage style, and the bulky hood dome does not fit into it in any way.

According to the principle of air purification, we will review only combined-type hoods, including both air circulation with its cleaning with replaceable filters, and complete air removal into the ventilation system of the house or directly outside it.

On the basis of the built-in principle, the overview includes only hoods that are intended to be built into a wall cabinet. Hoods of the 'domino' type, for embedding in a worktop, we will consider a separate topic, since such models are for the most part extremely expensive.

How to choose a built-in hood

At first glance, it may seem that the hood is an extremely simple device, and there is simply nowhere to take on numerous characteristics. This impression is deceiving, and neglect of choice can lead to disappointment. We will describe the main technical parameters of modern hoods in descending order of importance, which should be followed in order to make the choice truly conscious.

Performance

By this term we mean here the area of effective service. It is considered to be optimal such a useful work of the hood, in which it removes the entire volume of air in the kitchen or drives it through itself in the recirculation mode for 5-10 minutes. And these are not idle assumptions, but quite official sanitary standards, according to which the air in the kitchen must be replaced at least 10-12 times during an hour.

For most models, this parameter is prescribed by the manufacturer in the instruction manual itself, but most often it is presented in a very simplified form – only a suitable area of the room is indicated. In fact, the height of the ceilings may not be taken into account and the area itself may be maximum. Therefore, for complete confidence, it is advisable to calculate this indicator yourself. Fortunately, the formula here is extremely simple.

For example, let's take a conventional kitchen of the most common area of 10 sq. meters with the most common ceiling height of 2.7 meters. The volume of the kitchen will be 2.710 = 270 cubic meters, respectively. Thus, the useful work of the hood should be at least 270 cubic meters. meters per hour, or better – more, at least 10-20%.

It is recommended to choose a hood with a decent power reserve for several reasons. Thus, it is possible to provide normal air during overload, and at the same time, the hood does not have to work at full capacity, which means it will not make too much noise. In addition, if we are talking about an apartment building, then these percentage of excess will include such non-obvious parameters as the depth of the ventilation shaft, the length of the duct and the number of storeys of the house.

Width

One of the most important parameters, which, strangely enough, is often neglected, resulting in extremely low extraction efficiency. It is a mistake to believe that a household kitchen hood works like an industrial vacuum cleaner. Here, the capacities are of completely different orders, and if the width of the hood is less than the width of the plate, then part of the foul-smelling and unhealthy fumes will inevitably pass by the dome, poisoning the air, eating into interior items and spoiling the finish.

This parameter is doubly important in the context of this material, since we are talking about hoods for integration into other interior items. Dimensions must be taken into account with millimeter accuracy, since at the slightest discrepancy, embedding will be very difficult, it will require damage to parts of the interior with damage to the appearance, or it will become completely impossible.

Air purification method

Household hoods can work on two principles – drainage and recirculation. The first principle involves removing polluted air to the outside or to the ventilation system of the building. The second is drawing in air, passing it through the filtering elements and supplying the same air, but already purified, back to the room. The cheapest models have a single mode – retraction. Recirculating models are on average more expensive both initially and in maintenance – filtering consumables need to be periodically cleaned or completely changed.

Within the framework of the presented rating, we will consider exclusively mixed-type models – they support both modes of operation, between which you can arbitrarily switch.

Power adjustment

Optional, but extremely useful option. Provides several power modes with simple switching. Allows you to save energy at minimum loads (making coffee, boiling eggs, etc.) and effectively get rid of unnecessarily aggressive aromas (onions, garlic, burnt dishes) at maximum power. Another plus of this gradation at lower powers the hood emits minimal noise, while at full power the sound can be quite annoying.

Backlight type and features

A minor, but also extremely useful option. It has not so much a decorative function as a completely practical one – lighting the hob. The hood itself, together with the cabinet in which it is built, can greatly obscure the overhead lighting of the kitchen. This creates inconvenience when preparing dishes that require careful visual control. The effective illumination of the cooker hood completely solves this problem.

The backlight can be arranged using incandescent lamps or LED elements. The former are much cheaper, but much more voracious in terms of electricity consumption. In addition, LEDs can generate light at different 'temperatures' to simulate the natural daytime spectrum. However, it is not uncommon for human vision to reject the 'synthetic' light from LEDs even if there is no visible flicker. Therefore, it is recommended, if possible, to evaluate the work of the backlight personally at the point of sale before purchasing.

Noise level

Another point that many neglect, and in vain, since in some cases the noise of the hood is so annoyingly exhausting that in the end they stop using it or have to buy a less loud 'version' for embedding. The nominal noise level must be indicated in the characteristics of a particular model. Also, recall the recommendation of experts – it is advisable to buy a hood with 10-20% of the maximum power reserve for a quick change of air. This will effectively remove polluted air at medium and low power levels – even in expensive models, the difference in noise between the minimum and maximum power modes is literally striking.

In its pure form, you can focus on the average maximum noise figure of 55 dB. Many modern refrigerators operate at about this 'volume' in freezing mode. A higher noise level is highly undesirable, since cooking can turn into torment, or even result in claims from neighbors.

Additional functions and characteristics

In addition to the characteristics listed above, which are objectively important, hoods can have characteristics, the presence or absence of which can already be regulated by the individual preferences of the buyer. This can be mechanical or electronic control (up to remote control), the presence of carbon filters in the recirculation compartment, automatic mode – the hood itself determines and turns on the optimal power, turns on / off the backlight, etc. Some models even make it easy to change the facade panel of a different shade with changes in the interior.

Which hood is better – inclined or domed

Before proceeding directly to the rating, let us touch upon one more issue of interest to many potential consumers. In recent years, hoods of a special form factor – inclined, have been actively gaining popularity. On the net you can find quite a few descriptions claiming that such hoods, other things being equal, are more efficient than classic dome hoods, contain more functions and take up less space.

Of all these statements, only the last is more or less objective. Indeed, the sloping shape saves space, and this is really important for small kitchens. As for the increased functionality, this circumstance has nothing to do with the form factor. The thing is that inclined hoods, being a relative technological novelty, are deliberately designed with a number of additional functions in order to have at least some weighty advantages over domed hoods.

As for efficiency, there is no direct correlation here at all, and two hoods of the same power, but of different form factors, can remove or purify air with the same efficiency, and if different, then for reasons independent of the form.

And most importantly, this type of hood, by definition, does not imply embedding. Installation is only possible wall-mounted, so inclined hoods are also inapplicable for kitchen islands.

It is fair to say that tilting hoods are for the most part extremely attractive designs and contain 'trendy' materials like glass ceramics and bright decorative elements. This, too, has nothing to do with form, but only demonstrates the efforts of manufacturers who seek to endow such models with additional competitiveness.

The best built-in hoods 50 cm wide

Finally, we go directly to the rating and start with a selection of classic 50 cm wide range of built-in hoods. Our experts took into account medium power hoods that can effectively change air at minimum or medium power in a standard 10-meter kitchen.

Bosch Serie 6 DHL 575 C 50 IX

Rating: 4.9

Bosch Serie 6 DHL 575 C 50 IX

First, we will consider a premium-class hood manufactured by the famous German concern Bosch. The company produces hoods of various types at factories in different countries, including in China, but this particular model is assembled in Italy. This is reflected in the best possible way on quality, reliability and durability thanks to strict control.

The dimensions of the dome along the perimeter are 52×30 cm, the maximum height is 42 cm. The embedding width is 52 cm. The hood body is made of stainless steel with a glossy mirror and matt polish. The engine is one, its power is 250 W, which in the context of this model corresponds to an output of up to 610 cc. m / h.

The illumination of this model is arranged by means of two LED spotlights, which account for another 2 W of power consumption – 1 W each lamp.

Adjustment of intensity of work includes three speeds with electronic push-button adjustment. Additionally, there is a mode of increased intensity (automatically turns off after 6 minutes). At maximum speed, the noise should not exceed 65 dB, according to the manufacturer. The minimum noise is 50 dB.

This model implements a relatively new and increasingly popular perimeter suction technology. It is understood that the exhaust or filtered air is sucked in through narrow slots around the perimeter of the dome, which creates the effect of a vacuum cleaner – the suction is more intense and targeted at lower engine speeds.

The size of the air duct of this hood is 12 cm in diameter. The filtering part is equipped with a grease metal filter. It is possible to install a replaceable carbon filter (you need to buy it separately).

Advantages

  • appearance;
  • famous brand;
  • perimeter absorption;
  • quick change of indoor air;
  • intensive hitchhiking;
  • Italian assembly.

disadvantages

  • there is no default charcoal filter (you can buy and install it yourself).

CATA GC DUAL 50 WH

Rating: 4.8

CATA GC DUAL 50 WH

The second position in our rating is the hood of the Spanish trade mark CATA, represented by the international technology holding CNA Group. The manufacturer specializes in hoods and other types of kitchen equipment, thanks to which he has practically reached perfection in this segment.

The dimensions of this model are 30x50x28 cm with an embedding width of 50 cm. The size of the air duct is 150 mm in diameter. Body material – metal. The exterior can be finished in pure white or deep black.

The manufacturer is 'modestly' silent about the power consumption, and this clearly hints at perhaps the only drawback of this model – the gluttony in terms of electricity. But the reason for this is not a lack of optimization, but rather objective technical characteristics. So, the productivity of the model reaches 820 cubic meters. m / h, which is almost a third more than the above-described hood. Plus, there is also lighting – in this case, it is arranged using two halogen lamps of 50 W each. However, the brightness of the backlight can be smoothly adjusted.

The air intake function is provided by a relatively powerful motor. The speed of rotation is regulated by three positions. The control of the unit is electronic, touch. The operating modes are supplemented with a timer. The maximum noise level during intensive work should not exceed 63 dB.

The hood is equipped with an anti-return valve, a grease filter element with an indication of the degree of pollution.

Advantages

  • increased speed of air change in the room;
  • beautiful modern design;
  • high-quality assembly
  • timer;
  • smooth backlight adjustment;
  • anti-return valve;
  • pollution indicator;
  • 2 years warranty.

disadvantages

  • high power consumption.

Shindo MAYA sensor 50 1M B / BG 3ET

Rating: 4.7

Shindo MAYA sensor 50 1M B / BG 3ET

The rating continues with an interesting solution of the Shindo trademark. This is a specialized Russian brand, under which only hoods are produced. Many distributors insist on the South Korean origin of the Shindo brand, but this is not the case. The brand belongs to the company Coventdom, the holder of other well-known brands of household appliances – Fornelli, Flavia and Kronasteel. Hoods are produced in China and Turkey.

The dimensions of this model are 18x50x27 cm with a built-in width of 50 cm. Weight without packaging – 7.7 kg. The unit is made in a modern style with a very elegant design. The design includes a retractable front part – thus, the hood can be built into completely invisible even in shallow kitchen furniture, and the working area can be expanded directly during cooking. When pulling out the front part, the hood is automatically switched on and off when returned.

In terms of power, this model is much more modest than the first and, even more so, the second – one 120 W engine develops a capacity of up to 420 cubic meters. m / h. There are two speed modes. The noise level even at maximum mode does not exceed 52 dB.

The body is made of steel with a partial protective black finish and partially exposed metal polished parts. The size of the air duct is 120 mm in diameter. Switching modes – electronic on the touch panel. There is a timer. The backlighting is done by two LED bright lamps at the rear with minimal power consumption.

The hood is equipped with an anti-return valve and a grease filter. Additional coal can be delivered to the recirculation part by yourself.

Advantages

  • quiet work;
  • retractable design;
  • convenient control;
  • low power consumption;
  • stylish design;
  • anti-return valve;
  • timer;
  • 2 year warranty.

disadvantages

  • the charcoal filter must be refitted by yourself.

LEX Hubble 500 Inox

Rating: 4.7

LEX Hubble 500 Inox

The first selection of the rating is completed by another extract of the Russian brand, but already of another – LEX. This is also a specialized trademark, under which almost exclusively kitchen hoods are produced. The company's products are manufactured in Poland, Italy and China, and this particular model is assembled in the Middle Kingdom. This model is in many ways similar, and in some places is almost identical to the previous one, but it will cost almost half the price when buying.

The dimensions of the perimeter in a compact form with the retractable part are 50×28 cm and the embedding width is 20 cm. With the extended part, the depth almost doubles. The body is metallic in a natural silver shade, the design is very similar to the previous model. Weight without packaging – 5.5 kg, with packaging – 6.5 kg. The size of the air duct is 120 mm in diameter.

In terms of energy consumption, this model is even less demanding than the previous one, but at the same time the intensity of the processing of polluted air demonstrates quite decent: from 570 to 650 cubic meters. in the withdrawal mode and from 410 to 490 cubic meters. in recirculation mode. The recirculation compartment is equipped with a fatty metal (aluminum) filter element. Also, the delivery set may include coal, but this is an option, and its availability must be checked at the point of sale.

The hood is powered by one 100 W motor. There are two speeds / intensities with 38 and 48 dB noise respectively. Management – mechanical buttons-keys. Lighting – LED, one lamp in the back in the center, power 2.5 W.

Advantages

  • relatively high productivity with low energy consumption;
  • quiet work;
  • attractive design;
  • there is a charcoal filter (option);
  • retractable design;
  • affordable price.

disadvantages

  • questions about the build quality from a small part of users.

The best built-in hoods 60 cm wide

The second selection in the ranking of the best built-in hoods according to the version includes models with a build-in width of 60 cm.Otherwise, the criteria for inclusion in the rating by our experts here were the same as for the previous group, with the only difference that some samples are of increased power.

Siemens iQ700 LI 67 SA 680 IX

Rating: 4.9

Siemens iQ700 LI 67 SA 680 IX

The first in the selection of 60-centimeter hoods is the model produced by one of the most prominent old-timers of the market – the German company Siemens. This is a premium range hood with exceptional performance, reliability and durability. Part of the audience may be scared off by the impressive price, but here you need to understand that comparable devices in this class are not at all cheaper, if not more expensive.

The dimensions of the hood are 39x60x29 cm with an embedding width of 60 cm. The branch pipe is noticeably wider than that of any hood from the previous group – 150 mm in diameter. The body is metal – natural color, silver.

The total power consumption of the device is 146 W, of which 140 W is for the motor and 6 W for the two LED backlights. With this capacity, the productivity reaches 700 cubic meters. m / h in high intensity mode. The engine speed is regulated by three positions. Touch control, there is a miniature display and a timer. The brightness of the backlight is also adjustable.

The hood is equipped with a metal grease filter with a clogging indicator. The maximum noise level, according to the manufacturer, should not exceed 54 dB. The hood can operate in automatic mode – it turns on / off depending on the readings of the built-in smoke detector.

Advantages

  • premium class;
  • solid design;
  • build quality;
  • quiet operation in all modes;
  • automation;
  • extremely efficient grease panels.

disadvantages

  • some users consider the price unreasonably high.

Elica FILO IX / A / 60

Rating: 4.8

Elica FILO IX / A / 60

The second position in this rating group is the hood of the Italian brand Elica of the FILO series. This is also a premium model, like the previous one, but it is more than half the price for comparable technical characteristics. Hoods are produced at the own production facilities of the Elica Group holding in Italy itself.

The dimensions of the device are 34x60x35 cm with an embedding width of exactly 60 cm. The duct is slightly narrower than that of the previous model – 120 mm. The body is metallic in a natural silver shade. The engine is one, but its power is enough to develop a capacity of up to 800 cc. m / h. The revs can be adjusted within three speeds and an additional mode of increased intensity. Clock control, electronic. The hood is equipped with a metal grease filter.

The lighting is arranged in a similar way to the previous version – two LED lamps with a power of 3 W each. The difference is that the temperature of the light is in the cold spectrum, which is not to the liking of a significant part of the users. Our experts singled out this circumstance as a shortcoming of the model, but with a caveat – such light is not an engineering flaw, but only following European standards. The yellowness of the light characteristic of incandescent lamps is painfully familiar only for our compatriots.

Advantages

  • Italian assembly;
  • premium class;
  • appearance;
  • increased productivity;
  • low noise;
  • reliability and durability.

disadvantages

  • a significant part of users do not like too 'cold' backlighting.

AKPO Neva wk-6 60 IX

Rating: 4.7

AKPO Neva wk-6 60 IX.jpg

The rating is continued by another worthy technological solution to maintain a healthy climate in the kitchen – a cooker hood of the Polish AKPO trademark. This is already a middle-class model, but it is also twice cheaper than the previous one, with comparable key characteristics.

The dome of this hood is noticeably larger than that of the two previous options, and when built into a wall cabinet, it will take up an entire shelf. But it is definitely worth it, because the capacity of the unit in intensive mode reaches as much as 900 cubic meters. m / h. In the nominal maximum mode – up to 650 cubic meters. m / h. At the same time, the noise level of the work remains within acceptable limits – no higher than 54 dB. There are reviews on the network about increased noise and extraneous sounds, but such cases are in the zone of statistical error and reflect rather rare precedents of factory defects.

The hood is made of metal with natural silver shades. Some modifications may have tempered glass or glass-ceramic edging around the dome – this should be checked at the point of sale.

Control is carried out by pressing the electronic buttons on the body of the unit or remotely using the remote control. The speed of the motors is regulated within three power options. There is a timer.

The illumination is arranged in the form of two LED lamps with a power of 3 W each, placed on the sides. The hood is equipped with a metal grease filter.

This model is covered by a 3-year factory warranty.

Advantages

  • remote control;
  • timer;
  • effective lighting;
  • performance;
  • European assembly;
  • appearance;
  • 3 years manufacturing guarantee.

disadvantages

  • no charcoal filters included.

Kronasteel Kamilla 2M 600 inox

Rating: 4.6

Kronasteel Kamilla 2M 600 inox

The second selection of the ranking of the best built-in hoods according to the version is completed by a model of the Kronasteel trademark. This is a specialized brand owned by the Russian company Coventdom, which we already mentioned above in the description of the Shindo MAYA hood.

The dimensions of the bathing perimeter are 60×30.50 cm, but this model has a retractable design, and with an extended visor, the useful area almost doubles. The size of the air duct is 120 mm in diameter. The body is metallic in a natural silver shade, the edging is also metal with a mirror polish.

The total power consumption of the device is 236W, but only 180W comes from the motors. There are two of them in this hood, 90 W each, and they provide quite decent, but far from a record performance – up to 550 cubic meters. m / h. At the same time, some users are dissatisfied with the noise level. Our experts with all the severity write this circumstance into disadvantages, but with the proviso that the same disgruntled users admit that at such an affordable price and against the background of other advantages, noise is not a decisive factor.

The intensity of the engines is regulated within three speeds. Mechanical control, push-button. The high intensity mode is not provided. The lighting is provided by two bright 28 W halogen lamps. The hood is equipped with a metal grease filter, allows the installation of charcoal filters, but they must be purchased separately. There is an anti-return valve. The unit weighs 7.7 kg without packaging.

Advantages

  • nice design;
  • retractable design;
  • high-quality lighting;
  • anti-return valve;
  • affordable price.

disadvantages

  • noisy;
  • low maintainability is the flip side of an affordable price.

The best built-in hoods 90 cm wide

Now let's look at a selection of the largest hoods in our review with a build-in width of 90 cm.Such dimensions do not necessarily automatically imply increased performance, but our experts included models in the rating, taking into account this factor.

Faber ILMA X A90

Rating: 4.9

Faber ILMA X A90

And again, Italy is featured in our review with its well-developed industry for the production of high-quality household appliances. Consider the Italian premium hood of the Faber brand. Faber S.p.A. Is a multinational group of companies, the main shareholder of which is the Swiss holding Franke – it says a lot. Let's say right away that this is the most expensive model in the group and its price is quite objectively high, despite the fact that there are many models on the market that are many times more expensive.

The dimensions of the hood are 34x90x32 cm. The hood is designed for full embedding, but contains some expressive elements that are of practical use, such as a front transparent visor made of tempered glass. In general, the design of the unit is definitely pleasing to the eye. The body is metal, mostly in a natural silver shade.

The hood is equipped with a rather powerful 220 W motor, and develops a capacity of up to 650 cc. m / h (in high intensity mode). The device belongs to the high energy efficiency class – 'A'.

The intensity of work is regulated by an electronic touch panel within three speeds. There is a remote control. There is a mode of increased intensity, in which there can be increased noise – up to 60 dB. The branch pipe for this model is quite wide – 150 mm in diameter.

The lighting is arranged with two energy-saving LED lamps. The cooker hood is equipped with a grease filter in a cassette form factor.

This undoubtedly excellent model in all respects is still not without a couple of points that cause complaints from buyers. This is the lack of charcoal filters and a remote control included in the package. Considering the 'premium' cost of the model, such a 'under-kit' is puzzling. Fortunately, this is almost the only and not fundamental drawback of this model.

Advantages

  • premium class;
  • exquisite design;
  • Italian assembly;
  • reliability and durability;
  • remote control;
  • high energy efficiency class.

disadvantages

  • no charcoal filter and remote control included;
  • high price.

Elica FILO IX / A / 90

Rating: 4.8

Elica FILO IX

The rating is continued by another excellent example of Italian household appliances. Now it is a hood of the Elica trademark – the 'sister' of the 60-centimeter model, which we reviewed in the previous collection.

The differences between these models are minimal. Obviously, here we have expanded dimensions – 34x90x35 cm with an embedding width of exactly 90 cm. Everything else completely repeats the more compact model: a branch pipe – 120 mm in diameter; productivity – up to 800 cubic meters m / h; three high-speed operating modes with electronic clock switching; silver-colored metal body; high intensity mode; two LED lamps of 3 W each as a backlight; grease filter.

This model is covered by a 1 year manufacturing warranty. As for the class of the device, compared to other wide hoods, this model can be described as 'barely premium', that is, 'lower premium'. This can be seen already at the cost of the device, which is no less than three times lower than that of the previous model.

Advantages

  • Italian assembly;
  • high-class;
  • appearance;
  • increased productivity;
  • low noise;
  • reliability and durability.

disadvantages

  • too cold 'hospital' lighting (subjective opinion of some users).

Kuppersberg SLIMLUX II 90 XG

Rating: 4.7

Kuppersberg SLIMLUX II 90 XG

The third position in the group of ratings of 90 cm hoods is a product of the Kuppersberg brand. This is a Russian-German brand, which still has more Russian than German. TM is registered to a German company, but the capital is Russian. For the sake of fairness, it should be said that this is the rare case when products are produced not in China, but in Europe under a 'partisan' domestic brand. Kuppersberg hoods are assembled on a contract basis in Portugal. In terms of cost, this model is even two times cheaper than the previous solution from Elica.

The dimensions of the hood perimeter are 90×27 cm. The design includes a retractable functional visor that increases the useful area of the dome. The size of the air duct is 120 mm in diameter. Case material – metal with a white decorative coating.

Air intake provides 260W motor and develops capacity up to 550cc. m / h with mechanical push-button intensity control within three speeds. The high intensity mode is not provided. The maximum noise level, according to the manufacturer, is not higher than 65 dB. There is a standard metal grease filter.

Lighting is arranged by means of two incandescent lamps with a power of 40 W each. This type of lamp in this case evokes polar opinions of buyers – some praise the usual soft and eye-catching light with its warm temperature, others consider this solution old-fashioned and ineffective in terms of energy saving.

Advantages

  • honest performance – fully consistent with the declared one;
  • retractable design;
  • pleasant appearance;
  • ease of installation;
  • reliability and continuity.

disadvantages

  • perceptible noise at maximum speed.

Zigmund & Shtain K 002.91 S

Rating: 4.7

Zigmund & Shtain K 002.91 S

This selection ends with a rating of the best built-in hoods according to the experts of the Zigmund & Shtain trademark. Despite all the German style, it is well known that this brand has Russian roots, and the assembly of built-in hoods is carried out on a contract basis in Romania. Nevertheless, the Zigmund & Shtain equipment is of sufficient quality, especially against the background of an extremely affordable price. The model in question is one of the most successful combinations of objective technical characteristics and cost.

The dimensions of the hood are 14x90x28 cm, the size of the air duct is 120 mm in diameter. The body is metallic in a natural silver shade. The design includes a retractable visor.

The engine develops capacity up to 550 cc. m / h. The intensity of work is regulated within two speed modes. The enhanced mode is not provided. The maximum noise, according to the manufacturer, should not exceed 55 dB. The backlight is made up of two incandescent lamps with a power of 20 W each. There is a standard metal grease filter.

In general, the model, despite the budget class, meets mainly positive feedback from real users precisely due to the ease of installation and operation, sufficient power for an average kitchen with the volume of work within comfortable limits. The only problem is finding suitable charcoal filters on the market when it comes time to replace them.

Advantages

  • ease of installation and management;
  • honest performance;
  • continuity;
  • retractable design;
  • quiet work.

disadvantages

  • it is difficult to find suitable replacement filters.

The best high performance built-in hoods

The final selection in the ranking of the best built-in hoods from includes three best, in the opinion of our experts, models from among the most efficient. These devices are capable of removing or purifying indoor air in a volume of 1000 cubic meters. meters per hour or more.

Faber HEAVEN GLASS 2.0 WH Flat A90

Rating: 4.9
