The action takes place in Hope County, northern Montana, on the border with Canada. It seems to be a quiet and peaceful place with virgin nature and amazingly beautiful landscapes. Meaningfulness and plot, as already mentioned, are not the strongest points of Mad Max. This means that all the player needs is to methodically (or chaotically) clear the map. There is no sense in any kind of special development, pumping and strategic thinking in general. But the map is literally stuffed with a variety of objects that 'generate' exciting events for the player – fast-paced pursuits with gunfights, seizure of towers, robberies of anything, and other quest-action component. All this happens cheerfully, cheerfully, with a twinkle and will not let you get bored. Although the creators hinted that the game has a very indirect relationship to the film, the style and general mood leaves no doubt.

The technical implementation of the chases deserves some warm words. Everything here is 'like in a movie': you chase the enemy, match him, shoot at the gas tank, press the car sideways, push him into the abyss and much more that is spectacular and adrenaline.

Thus, Mad Max turned out to be an excellent road movie with an atmospheric atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max and mind-blowing action that requires strong nerves and good skill. The game has retained the 'general line' and its own good traditions, while acquiring useful and pleasant features of modern games – remember that more than six years have passed since the release of the fifth.

Oldfugs will be pleased to see old familiar characters, but new ones will also appear decently. Yes, exactly, the game is made in this style – there are a lot of girls in skirts, boys in camisoles and other Japanese clothes, so the 'hikkans' of all nationalities will be delighted.

Secondly, the game in terms of 'pictures' is really incredibly beautiful. All this looks like a colorful Japanese cartoon, impressive with the appearance of characters, locations, special effects (if this term is generally applicable to video games), entourage, heat of passion and something else.

As for the specific plot, the eternal theme of the Time Loop, the mutual influence of the past on the future and vice versa, is exploited here. Hence the reasons for everything that happens. Those who are particularly interested in the game will be able to easily immerse themselves in the world of BlazBlue, studying the chronology, history, going through not only direct previous games, but also spin-offs, of which a huge number have spawned.

Chronophantasma Extend is highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a truly fast, dynamic and incredibly colorful arcade game. Not long after the release, the Western press was flooded with rave reviews, the gaming community was also unanimous in the most positive impressions, and the ratings of critics were outrageous. And this is all against the background of a rather depressive state of the genre as a whole.

We will do the same, if only for the sake of objectivity. This game simply cannot be ignored.

The essence of the game lies in the name – Street Fighter. But, of course, this is not GTA, and the 'streets' themselves there is a very conditional concept, and it is the battles of fighters – hand-to-hand, or with the use of a variety of devices – of paramount importance. Street Fighter V is replete with colorful characters, an abundance of dexterous techniques, spectacular plans, and in general everything that modern fighting games might like. On this path, he will have to face countless obstacles, dangers, terrible monsters and, unfortunately, die an infinite number of times. What is this strange place? Why does a boy feel both obsession with purpose and despair? What will he find at the end of the path? These are the questions the player has during the passage of this masterpiece.

The game is executed strictly in black and white, and even a boy we see only a silhouette and brightly glowing eyes. Monsters are often also only vaguely visible through the thick fog, from which they cause even more intense goosebumps. This cartoon kid becomes sincerely sorry for all the monstrous difficulties that he has to go through.

The entourage, sound design, graphic style, violation by the developers of the unspoken ban on the death of children in video games – the combination of all these elements create a devastating game product. Although technically it is in its purest form the most elementary platformer like Prince of Persia. This is definitely not a game for everyone, but it is even more unambiguous that it is an absolute masterpiece of the genre.

The action takes place in such incredibly beautiful settings, accompanied by such touching moments (the girl's difficulties and her communication with a comforting whining chanterelle is still a teary theme), and in general in such a charming atmosphere that I just don’t want to blink again so as not to miss more something so wonderful.

An important point is that the game's development team worked closely with consultants on the topic of northern peoples and even with representatives of the Inuit communities themselves. So the game is also interesting with the highest cultural authenticity.

But against the background of all this touching splendor, there is an offensive drawback – Never Alone is inconvenient to play. Literally. Physically. There are two characters, the AI ​​is too 'dumb' to control the Arctic fox normally, they move with completely different speeds and dynamics, and switching between Nana and the fox sooner or later becomes too tiring. The situation is somewhat saved by playing together, but for a 'single' the situation is like this.

And yet, Never Alone is a marvelous piece of art capable of causing 'eyes in a wet spot' in the harshest bearded brutal man.
