Wireless in-ear headphones have become a real hit in recent years. Their advantages over wired models are obvious: increased wearing comfort and ease of storage in a special case. The main disadvantage was the small capacity of the built-in batteries, which is why at the start of production it was possible to listen to music only 1-2 hours before recharging. Over the years, the situation has changed, and the miniature earbuds began to be equipped with more energy-intensive batteries, thanks to which the charge lasts for several training sessions. Now wired headphones have no chance!

In the course of market research, the editors of the magazine, together with analysts from the RankQuality resource, have selected 11 of the best wireless in-ear headphones of various types. Some are great for athletic purposes, while others are a great addition to your everyday outfit. The following parameters were used as selection criteria:

  1. user reviews;
  2. technical equipment and reliability;
  3. sound quality;
  4. duration of work on one charge;
  5. case characteristics.

Apple AirPods 2

Rating: 4.9

APPLE AIRPODS 2.jpg

The first place categorically goes Apple AirPods 2. Despite the high cost of all the company's gadgets, these headphones cannot be called the most expensive: in this component, the championship is for Bang & olufsen earset . Yes, there are 'AirPods' MRXJ2 and Pro in the series, which are much more expensive. But it all depends on the technical equipment.

And why should you give that kind of money? First, for its compactness. The weight of one earphone Apple AirPods 2 is only 4 grams. At the same time, the sound quality remains high and does not disappear even after several years of operation. 15 minutes of charging is enough for 3 hours of listening to music or 2 hours of talking. The maximum operating time in music broadcasting mode is 5 hours. It is also worth noting the presence of voice dialing and Lightning cable included.

Advantages

  • very lightweight earbuds (only 4 grams);
  • 24 hours of work from the case battery;
  • the presence of a Lightning cable;
  • high sound quality;
  • reliability;
  • fast charging capability.

disadvantages

  • not detected.

HUAWEI FreeBuds 3

Rating: 4.8

HUAWEI FREEBUDS 3.jpg

HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 cost slightly less than the Bang & Olufsen Earset, but have ANC active noise canceling. Thanks to it, the sound quality goes to a higher level. The bass is felt well, as is the treble. And this despite the fact that the total weight of the headphones is only 18 grams – it would seem, well, what quality sound can be realized in such a small device ?!

The built-in battery of HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 is 30mAh. This is enough for 4 hours of uninterrupted operation. Disadvantage? Maybe. However, it takes a little less than 1 hour to recharge, and the battery life in the case is 20 hours. With a high level of technical equipment, these are quite decent indicators.

Advantages

  • high-quality reproduction of low and high frequencies;
  • nice design and comfortable shape of the headphones;
  • high reliability;
  • the presence of an active noise cancellation system ANC.

disadvantages

  • not identified.

Bang & Olufsen Earset

Rating: 4.8

BANG & OLUFSEN EARSET.jpg

Bang & Olufsen Earset Wireless Headphones have a very important difference from the previous representatives of the rating – the presence of earhooks for a more secure fit. Such headphones are not suitable for some, but in fact it is the most convenient design for active sports. They are characterized by quite standard characteristics of sound reproduction: frequencies from 20 to 20,000 Hz, 105 dB of sensitivity and 32 Ohm impedance. There is support for the AAC codec – an improved version of audio streaming.

The Bang & Olufsen Earset has a runtime of 5 hours with a 95 mAh Li-ion battery. This could be considered a disadvantage, but they fully cope with their task. Of course, the cost of earbuds is hardly available to an ordinary consumer, but from the point of view of quality, it is definitely worth considering them for purchase.

Advantages

  • Reference sound quality for in-ear headphones
  • the presence of behind the ear arches;
  • AAC codec support;
  • reliability and style.

disadvantages

  • the highest price in the rating.

HONOR FLYPODS.jpg

The standard version Honor FlyPods is a real godsend for athletes who don't like the feel of the rim like the AM66 Sport Pro. These earbuds come in a cute case with a battery that provides 20 hours of battery life. The earbuds themselves are capable of working up to 3 hours, which is just enough for complex strength and cardio training.

FlyPods Honor wireless headphones have an elegant LED indicator and support voice dialing. It is also worth noting their protection according to the degree of IP54 – the inserts are not afraid of splashes of water and fine dust getting under the body. • light indication of inclusion and low charge.

disadvantages

  • not identified.

iDragon EP-019 D SW

Rating: 4.5

IDRAGON EP-019 D SW.jpg

One of the Chinese replicas aimed at replacing AirPods and working with systems under control iOS. Unlike analogs, iDragon EP-019 D SW have 2 built-in microphones, which significantly improves the quality of communication. They have an LED indicator for operation and also placed a Lightning connector for support iPhone.

The battery life of iDragon EP-019 D SW is 5 hours in music listening mode and up to 120 hours in standby mode. The case's battery is too weak even for budget headphones – it's enough charge to provide 15 hours of wireless headset operation. In essence, all this characterizes the earbuds as an average market representative, as evidenced by user reviews.

Advantages

  • budget replacement for AirPods;
  • the presence of a Lightning cable;
  • up to 5 hours of listening to music on a single charge;
  • LED indicator of work;
  • 2 microphones, similar to the product from Apple.

disadvantages

  • insufficient capacity battery of the case.

CROWN MICRO CMTWS-5002

Rating: 4.5

CROWN MICRO CMTWS-5002.png

Wireless headphones from the CROWN company already look more solid against the background of previous competitors. And it's not just the higher price – the sound quality, all other things being equal, is much better. The reason for this is the characteristics: a frequency range from 20 to 20,000 Hz, an impedance of 32 ohms and an optimal sensitivity value of 95 dB.

In terms of manufacturability, MICRO CMTWS-5002 also has several differences. First, the network connection distance Bluetooth increased by 50% – up to 15 meters. Secondly, the kit comes with a microUSB cable. And thirdly, the battery in the case has a 500 mAh charge. True, the latter is compensated by the fact that the headphones themselves have a low level of charge and require at least 2 hours of time to recharge to a maximum. Actually, this fact can be considered the only drawback: many users note it.

Advantages

  • good sound quality;
  • comfortable shape and pleasant design;
  • the presence of an LED indicator;
  • micro-USB cable included;
  • signal reception range – 15 meters.

disadvantages

  • require 2 hours to recharge.

Xiaomi Mi Collar Bluetooth Headset Youth

Rating: 4.4

XIAOMI MI COLLAR BLU ETOOTH HEADSET YOUTH.jpg

Unlike Baseus W09, headphones Xiaomi are already in great demand and love among Russian users. With the release of Mi Collar Bluetooth Headset Youth, the Chinese leader of the mobile segment is concerned with ease of use. That is why the wireless earbuds received a neckband for attaching.

The range of reproducible frequencies here varies from 20 to 20,000 Hz. There is practically no bass processing, while there is a slight overkill with high frequencies. Despite the light weight (only 35 grams), 137 mAh batteries are built into the headphones, which allow you to listen to music for up to 7 hours without interruption. Customer reviews are mostly complementary, but the sound quality is frustrating for many. They will be good and convenient as plugs for sports, but it is more advisable to use the model as a headset and for listening to podcasts.

Advantages

  • up to 7 hours of battery life;
  • very comfortable when playing sports – there is a neckband;
  • high popularity;
  • acceptable price.

disadvantages

  • approximately 30% of users are not happy with the sound.

Baseus W09

Rating: 4.4

BASEUS W09.png

A novelty in the mass market that works with network protocols Bluetooth version 5.0. The amount of information from users on the Internet is still small, but even the first reviews show that the earbuds turned out to be of very high quality. The frequency reproduction range is standard: from 20 to 20,000 Hz. When reproducing sound, there is some semblance of bass and a neat, barely discernible cut of high-frequency waves.

The Baseus W09 battery has a capacity of 45 mAh and is designed for 5 hours of continuous audio playback. In turn, the case battery also has a fairly large capacity – 450 mAh. So far, shoppers are just getting started with a new product with healthy skepticism and caution. After all, the brand is Chinese, and the credit of trust in it is not so high a priori.

Advantages

  • neat appearance, presence of touch-sensitive power buttons;
  • there is a sound depth effect;
  • up to 5 hours of work on a single charge;
  • low price.

disadvantages

  • the user's manual included is not Russified.

Nobby Practic T-101

Rating: 4.3

NOBBY PRACTIC T-101.png

The Nobby Practic T-101 wireless headphones are another representative of the budget segment, which surpassed the Lemon Tree i12 in all technical indicators. And even despite the fact that the average rating from users here is lower, all claims relate mainly to the appearance (wear of the case) and the integrity of the headphones (lack of protective nets).

From the point of view of characteristics, everything is fine: 20-20000 Hz frequency, 32 Ohm impedance and a slightly overestimated sensitivity value – 120 dB. Its own battery supports up to 3 hours of music listening and over 150 hours of standby time. The headphone case has a 400 mAh battery. There is also a Lightning cable in the box – almost useless, but more than cool on budget. The only caveat we managed to find is that the T-101 microphone does not support voice input. Everything else is performed at the highest level for the segment.

Advantages

  • case battery 400 mAh;
  • comfortable shape – perfectly fit in the ears;
  • acceptable sound quality;
  • the presence of a Lightning cable.

disadvantages

  • often come across models of headphones with a scuffed case or a dropped speaker mesh.

Lemon Tree i12

Rating: 4.2

LEMON TREE I12.jpg

Affordable wireless earbuds with built-in microphone for up to 3 hours of continuous use. Lemon Tree i12 has a minimal set of useful functions, but at the same time it can become an excellent companion even on long trips. The case with a built-in 300mAh battery supports up to 10 full headphone charges. Hence, you get 33 hours of battery life with recharge interruptions. Not a bad result, especially if the journey takes several days away from outlets.

Other features of Lemon Tree i12 include voice dialing and automatic pairing. The headphones also use the communication channel Bluetooth to connect to the smartphone. The average rating from users is very high, but some of them still note stability problems. The problem is expressed by periodically disconnecting the headphones even when fully charged.

Advantages

  • low price;
  • comfortable shape – do not fall out of the ear even during active movement;
  • case for 300 mAh;
  • presence of a microphone.

disadvantages

  • disconnection problem.
