Well, for gaming, serious components are required from a computer; when choosing a monitor with 4K resolution, this should not be forgotten.

The built-in screen is capable of boasting not only high-definition images, it also has a very high scanning frequency. There are no problems with viewing angles, but there was no doubt about that. Flicker-free backlighting should also be noted, because it is thanks to it that the eyes do not get tired even after many hours of work with such a monitor.

Typically, IPS panels suffer from lack of deep blacks. But in DELL P2415Q the contrast ratio is 1000: 1. The image looks better only on much more expensive devices with OLED – screen. Everyone understands that the IPS panel has both advantages and disadvantages. The first include the maximum viewing angles. Well, the main drawback can be considered not particularly high brightness. And the response time of 5 ms will not suit everyone. As for this particular display, for the sake of economy, the manufacturer had to reduce the refresh rate to 61 Hz. However, which of the readers has a video card that produces a higher FPS in games with such and such a resolution?

The screen of this model has received a traditional anti-reflective coating. The frames turned out to be neither narrow nor wide. It can be seen that the manufacturer was definitely not striving for a record. I am glad that the monitor has the FreeSync function, which will be appreciated by many owners of AMD video cards. But not a simple one, but with an increased scan rate up to 144 Hz! Do I need to say that at this resolution it will be felt in many games, even if the computer has a not very powerful video card?

The display used here is made using TFT TN technology, the picture is displayed using WLED backlight. This imposes some restrictions. In particular, the user is expected to have good, but by no means maximum viewing angles. And there will be certain complaints about the color rendering.
