We recommend that you purchase the 64GB onboard storage option. Of course, you may have a need to download a large number of films and music, which will not be enough. But there is a slot for a memory card, so the problem is easily solved. And the product also received 4 GB of RAM. This is quite enough even to keep two applications open on the screen at the same time. There are also no problems with the processor, which is a powerful eight-core solution from Qualcomm.

If you buy exactly the version we are considering, you will get the opportunity to go online outside the premises. However, if this is not required, it is better to save money by taking the option without the LTE module. Other communication standards supported by the tablet include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. If we talk about a wired connection, then the USB Type-C connector is used for this. Unfortunately, not only the charger is connected to it, but also the headphones. I am glad that you can also connect headphones with a wired method, because there is a 3.5 mm audio jack, which many other manufacturers of such gadgets refuse. The processor is a quad-core Intel Atom x5 Z8350. Experts will say that its power is barely enough for the stable operation of an operating system from Microsoft. These words are also true in relation to the RAM, the volume of which is only 4 GB. As for the permanent memory, its volume has been increased to 64 GB. Unfortunately Windows 10 takes up too much space, so the tablet owner will have to stock up on a large microSD card right away.

The picture is displayed here on an IPS-display with a diagonal of the standard 10.1 inches. The resolution has been deliberately reduced to 1280×800 pixels. This is to prevent the processor from straining too much. Do not forget that nothing can help him, there is no video card here.

This model sounds pretty good, it can please with full-fledged stereo speakers. But photography is the weakest point of the tablet, since the product received very modest cameras. But the device has a 3.5mm audio jack and micro-HDMI. The latter is used to display images on an external monitor. But you definitely won't do that, as the hardware installed here cannot handle the higher resolution image processing.

Not much, but what else could you expect from such an inexpensive 'pill'?

As we said, this tablet was released a long time ago. In 2017, more specifically. Therefore, it is not surprising that the operating system Android 7.0 is installed here. Alas, much more recent versions of the 'green robot' can only be dreamed of. I am glad that at least the processor located here cannot be called obsolete. The Snapdragon 625 is still powerful enough for most applications and even games. And the 14-nanometer technical process used in the production allows us to hope for low power consumption.

The bottleneck here is 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. And if you can put up with the first, then the volume of the second makes you immediately insert a microSD card. Someone else will not be satisfied with the rear and front cameras, the resolution of which is 8 and 5 megapixels, respectively. But these tablets are not designed for beautiful photography. The presence of stereo speakers is much more important to them. And they are here, which is good news. With their help, you can listen not only to MP3 music, but also to the built-in FM radio. Headphones connected to the 3.5 mm audio jack will act as an antenna.

The tablet easily copes with the reception and transmission of large amounts of data over wireless networks. It defines the LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac standards. It also has built-in support for Bluetooth 4.2, which is mainly needed to connect a wireless headset.

Finally, we note a number of disadvantages. The tablet computer from Lenovo turned out to be quite heavy. Holding a 475g device to watch a movie is a pleasure. And still not everyone will like the case made of plastic.

This device has a 10.1-inch display, created using IPS technology. The resolution of 1920×1200 pixels allows you to comfortably watch movies, and many owners of such a tablet do not need more. The width of the frames turned out to be decent. So much so that there was a place under the screen for a Home button. Usually a fingerprint sensor is built into it, but this model did without it. The savings are also noticeable in the amount of memory. Not only will the owner of the 'tablet' have to get a microSD card, but also the operating system Android 8.0 regularly suffers from a lack of RAM.

It is surprising that the manufacturer is generous with a very powerful processor. The eight-core Kirin 659 acts as it. At certain moments, its clock frequency reaches 2360 MHz. The only pity is that a 16-nanometer process technology was used to create it, which is why the chip cannot be called energy efficient.

The biggest advantage of the tablet is its excellent set of wireless modules. “Tablet” and LTE-communication will provide, and the high-speed standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac will understand. Well, to connect a wireless headset, Bluetooth is used 4.2. However, it is much easier to listen to music using the built-in stereo speakers. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack. This is good news because it started disappearing from some new tablet computers.

Unfortunately, other characteristics of the device cause only negative emotions. For example, the 460-gram weight cannot but be confused. The micro-USB port will upset someone even more, because now they want to get a more modern interface. Cameras are also outdated here, it would be better if they were completely absent. Well, the capacity of the battery installed here is brought to only 5100 mAh. Usually such a battery is built into much smaller tablets!

When buying it, you have to put up with a fairly old version of the operating system. Also, you will sometimes swear at the work of the eight-core Exynos 7870 processor, which does not have a very large power reserve. Well, 2 GB of RAM is generally laughable to chickens. And this problem cannot be solved. This is not a permanent memory that can be expanded by installing a microSD card.

Despite the announcement dated 2016, the device received support for the Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard. Also, the version we are considering has a slot for a SIM card. As for the wired connection, micro-USB and a 3.5 mm mini-jack are predictably found on the body of the device. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is very heavy. Its weight reaches 525 g. But here it is at least explained by the capacity of the battery, which is 7300 mAh.
