Best Quadrocopters for Kids with GPS Chip

Hubsan X4 Air H501M

Rating: 4.9

Hubsan X4 Air H501M

One of the most popular drones on Chinese marketplaces. Thousands of buyers acquire it every week. They like him because of his reliability. No, this is still not a DJI product level, but the quadcopter is still capable of returning home if the signal is lost or other problems occur. Also, one cannot fail to note the small size of this device – it is very far from all sorts of 'phantoms'. The flight time, reaching 18-20 minutes, is also capable of surprising. Reading our rating further, you will understand that for many inexpensive drones this is an outrageous result.

The presence of a GPS chip indicates that the device can fly to points. This is a good way to fly out of control ranges that do not exceed 30-50 meters if you are only using a smartphone. If you use radio equipment, then the range increases several times. But you will experience the greatest convenience only if you order a special accessory that reflects the signal from the remote control antenna – then you can control the drone at a 250-meter distance.

This model can hover at the selected height. This means that the child is unlikely to damage the quadrocopter by releasing the sticks. Also, the product is relatively lightweight. Even if the drone hits a wall and then falls onto a hard surface, it is unlikely that something serious will happen to it. Unless one or two propellers will need to be replaced, but this is no big deal.

The drone maintains GPS communication with confidence. Additionally, it receives signals from GLONASS and Gallileo satellites. There is a special button on the remote control, pressing which makes the copter return to the take-off point. And there is also the function 'Follow the operator' – the drone is guided by the person in whose hands the remote control is. Unfortunately, the quality of shooting here is far from the best. The camera can shoot only in HD-resolution, the picture will disgust any person actively uploading such content to YouTube. Also, everything is spoiled by vibrations transmitted to the camera – there is no stabilizer here. Therefore, this is definitely not a drone for shooting. However, the drones reviewed in this rating are equipped with a camera, if only for show. Well, how else, if their manufacturers absolutely needed to make the price tag as low as possible?

It should be noted that there are brushless motors here. This allows us to hope that they will not fail either in a week, or in a month, or in a year. As for the battery used, its capacity is 2700 mAh. We have already mentioned the flight time. But it is too early to rejoice. Be sure that twenty minutes will not be enough for you. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase at least a couple of additional batteries.

Budget drone remotes are often battery operated. The Hubsan X4 Air H501M is no exception to the rule. The remote control must be paired with a smartphone. It is curious that the mount for it is made reclining. This will prevent you from losing it or forgetting it.

Advantages

  • Flight by points on the map is possible;
  • Return to home available;
  • The quadcopter keeps altitude stably;
  • Control is possible only with a smartphone;
  • Equipped with a convenient remote control;
  • Built-in camera;
  • Long flight time;
  • Small size and weight.

disadvantages

  • The remote control is quite heavy due to the batteries;
  • The quality of shooting is poor;
  • The cost is not the most childish.

Syma X8Pro

Rating: 4.8

Syma X8Pro

This is already a much larger quadcopter. It is easy to guess that when designing it, the manufacturer was guided by one of the 'phantoms' from a well-known Chinese company. However, the price tag, equal to seven thousand rubles, makes it possible to understand that absolutely all elements of the drone's design are much simpler. For example, the camera is not stabilized in any way here. The gimbal used here is only for remote tilting the camera. Although many competitors don't offer that either!

If we are talking about the camera, then one cannot fail to note its 1-megapixel resolution. Therefore, the picture will be comparable to what we once received using a push-button mobile phone for shooting. This clearly hints that the drone is still not designed for sensible video and photography. In this regard, it is completely incomprehensible why the manufacturer introduced the ability to follow the operator – a function, when activated, the drone flies after the owner of the remote control.

By the way, the remote control is also similar to the hardware supplied with the 'phantom'. Here, too, white plastic is used, albeit not at all of that quality. There are not so many active buttons, and the antennas barely protrude beyond the body. In short, it is not surprising that the drone can only be steadily controlled over a short distance. If it moves 60-70 meters away, then problems will already begin. I am glad that there is a GPS here. If the connection is lost, the drone will not fall, but will return to the takeoff site. There is also a barometer, thanks to which the device tries to maintain altitude. Someone may be pleased with the so-called Headless Mode. But we still do not recommend learning to fly in this mode – in the future it will do a disservice when switching to a more advanced solution.

All Syma quadcopters have one problem. They have tiny flight times. Here it is 9 minutes, and even then only if the supplied camera is disconnected (yes, you can fly without it). It is not recommended to put propeller guards – with it, it will be difficult for the drone to withstand strong winds, since the windage will increase significantly. The copter is powered by a simple 2000 mAh battery. You already understand that it is better to stock up on two or even more additional batteries.

According to reviews, the product received the simplest GPS chip. There is no question of any support for GLONASS, and therefore the landing is still taking place a few meters from the point from which the takeoff was carried out. You may also have problems calibrating the compass.

Advantages

  • The remote is battery operated, not rechargeable;
  • Falls are experienced without much problem;
  • Modular design allows replacement of almost any part;
  • Not very high cost;
  • Return to the takeoff point is available;
  • The camera can be detached;
  • Remote camera tilt is available.

disadvantages

  • Not the longest flight time;
  • The compass is not always calibrated;
  • Flips are not available;
  • Disgusting shooting quality;
  • Small control range.

Hubsan X4 Star Pro H507A

Rating: 4.7

Hubsan X4 Star Pro H507A

As you know, the best drones for photography and video shooting are made by DJI. Well, if we talk about amateur products, then Hubsan has the best assortment. Its drones in most cases receive a GPS chip, and often there are no complaints about the stability of their flight. At the same time, the copters are relatively small. For example, the Hubsan X4 Star Pro H507A has a diameter of 225mm and weighs only 162g.

The main difference between this model and all the others is the lack of a remote control. Alas, it cannot be bought even separately – the product simply does not support radio control. To use the drone, you will need a smartphone on which a special application is installed. Of course, you won't be able to fly far this way – by default, you are waiting for about 40 meters. But if you use the Wi-Fi booster, you can control the quadcopter even at a 100-meter distance. It makes no sense to fly further – at a greater distance, the drone is practically indistinguishable, and the broadcast of the picture from the built-in camera begins to receive a lot of interference.

Yes, such a small drone also received a camera. But the price of 6,000 rubles hints that the camera is useless. Indeed, it does not have any suspension, and therefore the picture gets the effect of jitter. Well, the matrix used here clearly has the lowest resolution available. But the child may well like the view from the camera. You just don't need to write down the resulting material – otherwise, every time you watch it, you will increasingly want to get a more professional drone.

The presence of a GPS chip here allowed the engineers to implement the function of flight to geographic points. The drone also knows how to follow the owner of the remote control. The automatic return to the take-off site is not forgotten either. You can also note Headless Mode – a special mode in which control is greatly simplified.

Alas, this is not the best Hubsan drone when it comes to flight duration. You can only count on 7-9 minutes of being in the air. And all because of the battery, the capacity of which was deliberately reduced to 550 mAh in order to reduce the equipped weight of the copter. For you to understand, the battery charging time is about two hundred minutes. That is why we say every time that when buying such a drone it does not hurt to think about purchasing additional batteries. These are not DJI products that support fast charging!

Advantages

  • Small size and weight;
  • It is possible to follow the operator;
  • Holds height well;
  • No remote control required;
  • Flight by points on the map is possible;
  • I have a camera;
  • Affordable price tag.

disadvantages

  • Short flight time;
  • The control range is not very long;
  • Disgusting shooting quality;
  • You cannot fly indoors (does not see satellites);
  • Some units are sold with defective batteries.

CXHOBBY CX-23

Rating: 4.6

CXHOBBY CX-23

Another relatively small, but much more expensive quadcopter. This model was created for those parents who are ready to buy a toy for their child for 12 thousand rubles. However, there is no doubt that many adults will fly this drone themselves, even if they have children. The fact is that this quadrocopter can be conditionally called sports. It easily accelerates to 10 m / s. It contains brushless motors that are unlikely to ever fail. Well, how beautiful is the case!

What is the reason for such a high cost? Not with the design, right? First, the manufacturer managed to achieve a climb and descent rate of 5 m / s. This is an incredible result, not available to many professional quadcopters (at least, without interfering with the engineering menu). It also has a built-in high-quality GPS chip, which ensures a quick return to the take-off point. Thirdly, the drone can be controlled even at a distance of 300-400 meters! I can't even believe it when you see the dimensions of this device. The copter fits easily in the palm of a child!

It goes without saying that it is impossible to integrate a high-quality camera into such a small drone. No, the picture will be broadcast to your smartphone. It can even be written to a memory card. But then I don't want to watch the horror happening on the screen. One feels that the two-megapixel resolution of the built-in matrix is still not enough. However, such quadcopters are created to control them close – many of their owners do not even connect a smartphone, using only a remote control. The drone allows you to break away by rotating it in completely different directions during flight without losing control. By the way, to view the FPV image, not a smartphone, but a complete monitor is used here. It was he who affected the cost of the device the most.

Despite its tiny size, the product received a battery at its disposal, the capacity of which was increased to 1200 mAh. With it, the toy can fly for up to 12-13 minutes. Interestingly, the drone is capable of holding altitude. You don't expect such an opportunity from such a small copter. And there are also LEDs that are clearly visible in the evening.

Advantages

  • Miniature size and weight;
  • Very long flight time;
  • You can fly a relatively long distance;
  • Rapid climb and descent;
  • I have a camera;
  • The drone is capable of returning to the take-off point;
  • Stable height retention;
  • Brushless motors are used;
  • The remote control is powered by a built-in battery.

disadvantages

  • The cost will not suit everyone;
  • Poor image quality;
  • Complete with incomplete instructions;
  • Sophisticated button combinations for calibration.

Lishitoys L6055

Rating: 4.5

Lishitoys L6055

One of the cheapest quadcopter among those equipped with a GPS chip. The product has a deliberately toy design – in some ways it resembles the color of a police drone from films about the future. The device is 140 mm long and 176 mm wide. The device turned out to be very light. This also hints that the drone is intended for use by children. This is evidenced by the remote control, which cannot be called serious. It's like the Xbox 360 controller has been reworked into a toy. By the way, the connection hits very close. It is unlikely that you will be able to take the drone beyond the 100-meter zone. However, this is not necessary.

The aircraft is shipped without a camera by default. And even if you buy it in addition, you won't be able to organize the broadcast, the camera will simply write material to the memory card. That is why the drone needs to be kept in sight, there is no talk of any long-distance flights. It is not recommended to buy a camera, as it has a very modest resolution. Well, you don't want to re-watch the video, which seems to have been shot with an old push-button telephone!

Despite the cost not exceeding 4000 thousand rubles, the quadcopter received a GPS chip. This means that the drone is able to return to the take-off location at the touch of a button. It may seem to you that with such a short control range, this is not necessary. No matter how it is! Even at a 100-meter distance, you can get confused where the front of the copter is and where is the back. Pressing the Home button fixes this problem. The drone also tries to maintain altitude, which is also good news.

The work of this device is provided by a 900 mAh battery. A full charge lasts for 8-9 minutes of flight. Not bad, but nothing more. In the future, you will understand that some drones for children cannot offer this either! As for the remote control, it runs on batteries, like many other representatives of our rating.

Lishitoys L6055 has one distinguishing feature. This is not only a quadcopter, but also a radio-controlled car! The propellers can be easily changed to the supplied wheels, after which the toy can move on the ground! In a word, the manufacturer has got a real transformer! It is possible that in the future, an increasing number of just such drones will appear in stores. Also included with the device you will receive a spare set of propellers, a key, instructions, the aforementioned battery, remote control and charger.

Advantages

  • The toy design will definitely appeal to children;
  • Low cost;
  • Conversion into a typewriter is possible;
  • Can return home;
  • Tries to keep the given height;
  • An external camera can be connected.

disadvantages

  • The remote control is powered by batteries;
  • It's better not to think about the camera;
  • Small control range.

The best drones for kids without a GPS chip

MJX Bugs 3

Rating: 4.9

MJX Bugs 3

As you know, GPS chip and digital compass are quite expensive components. Also, their introduction makes the drone manufacturer think about the quality of communication – it must be long-range, otherwise the determination of geographical coordinates loses its meaning. If you need to save money when creating a drone, then engineers usually refuse a GPS chip. This makes the drone more accessible. In particular, MJX Bugs 3 does not understand its position in space. This is a light, but large enough quadrocopter that can take up absolutely all the space in a school backpack. It is a pity that there is no barometer in it. Because of this, the product is not able to maintain height on its own. If you release the sticks, the drone will start to fall. That is why you need to get used to management. But if you learn how to use such a drone, then in the future you will not experience problems with any drone.

Unlike most existing children's drones, this drone can be used for photography and video shooting. And not necessarily with a built-in camera (it is purchased separately, being installed instead of the front LED). A mount for a GoPro-type action camera is supplied with the product. Keep in mind, however, that this is a simple piece of plastic. This means that you cannot tilt the camera remotely. You can't control it at all! If you want to use the control from the smartphone via Wi-Fi, then this can interrupt the signals from the remote control, causing the drone to crash to the ground. Also, the manufacturer did not introduce any dampers, let alone a stabilizer. Therefore, the video will shake a lot – the vibration of the body is transmitted to the action camera. We recommend using time-lapse photography and setting the shutter speed as fast as possible – this way you can achieve a more or less acceptable result.

As you can see, the MJX Bugs 3 is far from the cheapest quadcopter among those that do not have a GPS chip. What is the reason for the high cost? Primarily with brushless motors. There is no doubt that you will quickly break the drone's beams or something else than at least one engine will fail. The cost was also influenced by the duration of the flight – a full charge of the battery lasts about a couple of tens of minutes of being in the air. Who else from the competitors can boast of this? By the way, the battery is packed here in a plastic case – it can be easily inserted into the corresponding compartment, as it does not cause any problems and connecting the cable. The battery charge level is sent by radio to the complete remote control. Unfortunately, there is no screen on it, so the user is only waiting for a squeak, which starts at the moment when the charge level drops to about 35%.

The quadcopter has bright LED backlighting. In theory, the drone can be sent up to 500 meters. But in fact, he does not get to this mark even in the field, where, it would seem, nothing bothers him. And why let him go far? By default, the drone comes without a camera, so you need to keep it in line of sight. By the way, three modes are used for flights here. The increase of the so-called consumables is carried out by pressing the corresponding button on the remote control. The higher they are, the faster the drone flies. At the same time, the flight time is reduced, because the power consumption starts to increase. Also, one cannot fail to note the possibility of somersaults – the so-called flips. Unlike analogs, MJX Bugs 3 is able to make several flips in a row, reaching the ground only after the third or even fourth somersault.

Perhaps the Chinese manufacturer turned out to be a good toy. But it is not for children, but for adults. The child may not be able to cope with the controls, due to which the quadrocopter will regularly fall. And if he survives the first few falls, then later you can expect the beam to break. Additionally, the Chinese offer to buy a camera and a monitor, but we do not recommend buying them – the quality of the broadcast picture can be called disgusting, and the image is lost at any distance.

Advantages

  • Long flight time;
  • The control range is quite decent;
  • You can change the modes of expenses;
  • Flips are available;
  • Comes with an action camera mount;
  • Bright LED backlight;
  • Convenient battery;
  • Brushless motors are used.

disadvantages

  • No GPS and altimeter;
  • The radio equipment is powered by a variety of batteries;
  • Legs and some other parts are made of fragile plastic;
  • Large enough size.

Syma X12 Nano

Rating: 4.8

Syma X12 Nano

Our rating includes three quadcopters released under the Syma brand. They could not do without them, because they are sold at a very low price. What kind of toy do children usually buy? Right. Not expensive. Syma X12 Nano is in significant demand not so much due to its reliable design, but due to its cost, which is about a thousand and a little rubles.

Of course, for that kind of money, it is impossible to get a real drone that is large in size and has a decent flight range. No, the Syma X12 Nano got its name for a reason – it's a tiny baby that, if you wish, can easily be held in your palm. In such a modest size, there are certainly many disadvantages. For example, they exclude the possibility of launching the drone on the street – even a light summer breeze blows it away. But on the other hand, the product is not at all afraid of collisions with certain obstacles. Its rays are so tiny that only a dog's teeth can break them off. The propellers are also small. To damage them, you need to seriously try. But even if that happens, additional propellers are included.

This is one of those quadcopters that don't support camera connection at all. And that's great. Why spend money on it? It is clear that at this size, a camera with a ridiculously small matrix would be used, which simply would not see anything. She definitely would not have enough lighting, because the launches of this drone are carried out only indoors.

Don't be surprised if you get your quadcopter in a box that's big enough. The fact is that most of the space in it is occupied by the remote control. It resembles a gamepad from the Xbox game console, the difference lies in cheaper plastic and a changed position of the controls. The radio equipment is powered by batteries. The manufacturer claims that the miniature drone picks up signals no more than 20 meters away. If you run it indoors, this is quite enough. By the way, the force of rotation of the propellers is not very high. Even if the copter flies into the mirror, it is unlikely that at least one scratch will remain on it.

The product has only one sensor – a gyroscope. Consequently, the device cannot return home and maintain altitude. But the drone is capable of flips. A battery from a smart watch is used as a battery. Not even. Fitness bracelets and other similarly small devices work from such a battery. The capacity does not exceed 100 mAh! Surprisingly, a full charge is enough for 6 minutes in the air! It should also be surprising that charging the battery takes, according to the manufacturer, only 60 minutes, and judging by some reviews – even half an hour. We are already used to the fact that in budget drones, charging times are much longer.

The complete set of the quadcopter is simplified as much as possible. We have already mentioned the battery and the remote control, as well as the spare propellers. In addition, in the box you can find a USB cable, a screwdriver and instructions.

Advantages

  • Very low cost;
  • Fast battery charging;
  • Flips are possible;
  • Don't be afraid to fly indoors;
  • Stable gyroscope;
  • Includes spare propellers;
  • Even with batteries, the remote control does not seem heavy.

disadvantages

  • Not the most responsive controls;
  • There is no point in running on the street;
  • Minimum flight time;
  • Doesn't know how to maintain altitude on its own.

Hubsan X4 Camera H107C Standard

Rating: 4.7

Hubsan X4 Camera H107C Standard

Another small quadcopter in our ranking. But you can't call it tiny anymore. This drone has a 70mm diameter. This size already allows the product to be launched outdoors. The very large propellers are excellent at handling the wind, unless the wind is too strong. The gyroscope tries to keep the drone level when it is not flying forward. Unfortunately, the product cannot maintain the altitude on its own – the lack of GPS and barometer affects. But on the other hand, the toy is capable of flips.

In fact, the Hubsan X4 H107C can be run indoors as well. To avoid damaging the propellers and your furniture, you can attach a special guard – it is included in the kit. But indoors, you definitely don't need a camera built into the body. However, its capabilities are unlikely to suit you anywhere. On the street, the picture is shaky and barely distinguishable. But what can you hope for when the maximum video is recorded at 480p? The manufacturer clearly borrowed the camera from a very old push-button phone. Of course, you cannot adjust the position of the camera here, just like simply receiving a picture from it remotely – the result is written to a memory card, nothing more.

The product comes with a relatively small remote control. It doesn't have a smartphone mount as it doesn't need one. As far as radio communication is concerned, its signal spreads over 100 meters at best. In fact, the control range will be even shorter. There is not much point in flying somewhere far, because you may not have time to return back. The fact is that a modest battery is used here, the capacity of which barely reaches 380 mAh. Landing is carried out 5-6 minutes after the start of the flight. Also, letting go of the quadcopter is far from worth it due to the fact that you can get confused which side it is facing towards you. And there is no automatic return to the starting point. If the connection is lost, the drone will simply fall to the ground.

I must say that collisions with obstacles and falls are not terrible for this quadcopter. It weighs only 51 grams, so even hitting at full speed will only break the propellers. And they can be easily replaced – four spare propellers are included in the kit. Also in the box with the drone are instructions, a key (needed to remove the propellers), a charger, a remote control and the aforementioned battery.

It remains to add that the radio equipment of this quadcopter is powered by batteries. Ideally, they should be changed after every two to three flights. Otherwise, one day you may encounter an unexpected drop of the quadcopter due to the fact that the batteries are empty. By the way, we recommend using 'finger' batteries – their purchase looks more profitable. That is, of course, if you have the appropriate charger.

Advantages

  • Flies well even on the street;
  • Very hard to break;
  • Flips are possible;
  • Low cost;
  • Convenient remote control;
  • Recharging the battery takes half an hour;
  • Relatively small size.

disadvantages

  • Disgusting camera;
  • Not very long flight time;
  • Cannot return and maintain height on its own;
  • Weak battery attachment.

JJRC H31

Rating: 4.6

JJRC H31

Did you know there are waterproof quadcopters out there now? The JJRC H31 is such a drone. If he falls into calm water, then nothing will happen to him. In the first seconds it won't even start to sink. So you can have time to take off again! And even if it is submerged under water, in the future it only needs to be dried, after which you can go flying again!

As you can imagine, the quadcopter is very light. Along with it comes a protection for the propellers, which is screwed on with screws (you will have to spend some time). In fact, you can fly without this protection – practice shows that propellers can withstand collisions with a variety of obstacles. And even if something happened to them, there are four spare propellers in the kit.

If we talk about the package bundle, it includes a manual, a screwdriver, a 400 mAh battery and a charger as standard. For this they usually ask for less than two thousand rubles. But we recommend that you look for an advanced package. The fact is that a full charge is only enough for 7-8 minutes of flight. That is why the bundle, which includes as many as five batteries, does not hurt. Also, this kit includes a special charger that can simultaneously charge all batteries.

There is a serious drawback to the lightness of the JJRC H31. The drone is difficult to control in any strong wind. If it flies very quickly in the wind, then the quadcopter moves extremely slowly against its direction. Also, don't forget that there is no GPS chip or barometer. In a word, only the gyroscope provides work. Therefore, you can forget about returning home, as well as about automatic altitude hold. Very weak antennas are also used here. This means that it will be possible to fly off only 70-80 meters. If the connection is lost, the quadcopter falls to the ground. I am glad that it will definitely not harm him.

It should be noted that there is a complete set with a connected camera. However, this option should not be considered. The camera has a very tiny matrix, and the video resolution does not allow even a person who has never had a good TV to enjoy the picture.

The remote control of this drone does not cause serious complaints. Yes, they use cheap plastic, but there is no negative sensation from touching it. The remote control is, of course, powered by batteries.

JJRC H31 is one of the cheapest Headless Mode quadcopters available. In this mode, the drone tries to understand where exactly the signals from the remote control are coming from. In this case, turning the right stick to the left will always be exactly the movement to the left, no matter which side the drone is to you. However, this function does not work adequately in all drone specimens. Returning back by pressing one button is also more a fiction than a really working thing.

Perhaps the JJRC H31 is the best option for those who want to learn how to fly a quadcopter. And it is definitely a great choice for any parent. The fact is that a child is unlikely to be able to disable such a toy – it will obviously last more than one year. It is a pity that this copter flies relatively close, and the wind is the worst enemy for it.

Advantages

  • Almost impossible to break;
  • The set includes spare propellers and protectors for them;
  • There seems to be a Headless Mode;
  • The remote control is not heavy even with batteries;
  • The battery is charged in 30-40 minutes;
  • Implemented protection against water;
  • Affordable price tag.

disadvantages

  • Short flight time;
  • It is impossible to get too far away;
  • Disgusting camera;
  • A lot of time is spent attaching the propeller guards.

Syma X5HC

Rating: 4.5

Syma X5HC

Our rating is completed by another quadrocopter from the Chinese company Syma. This model is large enough. Its diameter is 330 mm. This is not a 'phantom' yet, but already close to it. It is a pity that such a large drone weighs only 107 g. As a result, the large windage does not allow the product to confidently stay in one place – the wind is steadily blowing it away. But at the same height, the copter still keeps – it is felt that there is not only a gyroscope, but also a barometer. This is great news for those who are afraid of dropping the drone while it is in the air!

The manufacturer does not hide that his creation is intended exclusively for children. This is evidenced not only by the cost, which is about three thousand rubles, but also by a simplified appearance. Looking at this drone, you will definitely say that this is a toy, and not a serious device. The control range is also evidence of the purpose – it barely reaches 50 meters. Alas, Syma products always have some serious flaws. Here, this is precisely the flight range.

An external camera is supplied with this model. You can play with it once or twice, but no more. Why is it needed if the copter flies close and low? The ability to perform flips would be much more useful. And here she is! Each somersault in the air delights the child! There is also Headless Mode, which has been talked about more than once during this rating.

As you know, Syma products rarely fly for any length of time. Here you can count on 7-8 minutes of being in the air if you use high consumables. If you activate the low ones, then even with a connected camera, the drone will fly for ten minutes, which is extremely atypical for quadcopters from this company.

Included with the product you will find not only spare propellers, but also protectors for them. The box also contains, of course, a remote control. It is powered by batteries. And we must admit that with them the radio equipment becomes quite heavy. Also, along with the drone, you will receive a 600 mAh battery – it is thanks to it that the quadcopter flies. It is a pity that recharging takes about 130 minutes. We can safely say that along with the Syma X5HC, you need to buy a couple of additional batteries.

Advantages

  • Comes with camera and card reader;
  • Resistant to damage;
  • Low cost;
  • There is support for Headless Mode;
  • The drone is stable at a given height.

disadvantages

  • The console turned out to be very weighty;
  • The quality of the shooting is disgusting;
  • Large enough size;
  • Small control range;
  • It is better not to launch in windy weather.

Conclusion

As you can see, many inexpensive drones have a fair amount of disadvantages. They often cannot fly for even ten minutes. And you certainly shouldn't count on a long flight range – the communication used by the remote control has a limited range. You also need to forget about a good camera.
