The main application of the Mitchell Mag-Pro Extreme 2000 was found among fans of twitching – the demeanor of the model is very well adapted for jerking. The line intensity of the composite spool (for its dimensions) is colossal: about 300 meters of thread with a section of 0.25 millimeters.
The gear ratio of the Mitchell Mag-Pro Extreme 2000 (5.2: 1) makes it prone to rapid, unexpected actions – 86 centimeters of line is placed on the spool in one handle rotation. But the smoothness of the movements leaves a pleasant impression, ensuring high accuracy of actions and proper winding of the line when fishing for fish. Actually, the smooth running is provided by four rolling bearings with increased service life (and with protection against salt exposure).
As noted by users, SHIMANO EXAGE 2500 FD is excellent when fishing on the seas, rivers and mountain waters. In view of this versatility, the cost of the model does not look too high, but it can still scare off beginners.
