Unfortunately, Russia does not have factories that produce any complex microelectronics, unless this is done for military purposes. However, you can still find Russian smartphones in stores. How so? In fact, everything is very simple. In fact, only brands are Russian, while the production of devices is carried out in China. In fact, these devices are also being developed there. Let's get to know the best Russian smartphones.

Highscreen Power Five Max 2

Rating: 4.9

Highscreen Power Five Max 21.jpg

The Highscreen brand is well known to lovers of smartphones with a capacious battery. Previously, it was under it that devices were distributed that included a battery with a record capacity. It is a pity that later the Russian company was caught up and overtaken by the Chinese, who had not previously sought to increase the battery life.

The most relevant creation of Highscreen now is Power Five Max 2. This device operates under the control of a fairly recent version Android. On its back there is a place for a dual camera. And not the most, I must say, bad! But not enough to surpass the results obtained with the help of much more famous competitors, even those with a similar price tag. The second module is auxiliary here, and it is practically inactive. In theory, it should serve to blur the background, but here this function is not implemented at the software level. As for the main matrix, its resolution is 16 megapixels. Of course, it's better to forget about shooting in the dark, since the aperture is not open too wide. As for the front camera, it has half the resolution, but for some reason the selfie it creates is much better.

The front panel of this model contains not only the front camera, but also a 6-inch IPS-display. Without any cutouts, with a decent enough frame. All this makes the smartphone giant. But no wonder, because under its back cover there is a 5000 mAh battery. It is recharged using a micro-USB connector. It's sad. Why, gentlemen from the Highscreen company, did you decide to provide the new device with an outdated interface? The presence of a 3.5 mm jack is good news. Russian companies understand that not all consumers want to completely switch to wireless headphones. By the way, when the headset is connected, the FM radio becomes available. Nice bonus.

As for wireless modules, the device supports LTE networks and Wi-Fi 802.11n. The device also has an NFC chip, which allows you to use it to pay for purchases.

Advantages

  • Decent IPS display
  • Low cost;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • There is NFC support;
  • A very powerful processor is used;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Extra large battery;
  • There is a fingerprint scanner.

disadvantages

  • Weight reaches 220 g;
  • Built-in micro-USB connector;
  • The quality of the rear camera will not suit everyone.

Yandex.Phone

Rating: 4.8

YANDEX.TELEPHONE.jpg

The most controversial device in our collection. This is not due to the characteristics, but to the origin of the smartphone. There are great doubts that Yandex was in any way involved in the development of the device. In fact, the Russian company just installed its own proprietary shell on it. Its specialists could not even think over the software enough to make the second rear camera work – in fact, only one lens is working here, under which a 16-megapixel matrix is hidden. His aperture, by the way, is only open up to f / 2.2. This means that it is better not to use the camera in poor lighting around the camera.

Now Yandex.Telephone is on sale for 8 thousand rubles. It seems that this money is definitely worth it (initially it was sold much more expensive). This is a pretty good smartphone, the body of which was created from metal and glass. The Chinese supplier has integrated two SIM card slots into the device, while Yandex has added a paper clip for ejecting the tray, created in the form of the initial letter of its name.

The dimensions of the gadget can be called average. The weight is the same. The front panel of the device houses an IPS display with a diagonal of 5.65 inches and a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. Responsible for what is happening on the screen Android 8.1. There is no need to wait for updates to the latest version. This is due to low sales of the device – it is simply unprofitable for Yandex to develop new software for it.

A Snapdragon 630 is used as a processor. Its power is enough for a more or less stable operation of the operating system. But if you install a large number of applications, slowdowns may begin. However, this is the problem of almost all Russian smartphones, because these are by no means flagships.

This model received 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. If the volume of the latter is not enough, you can insert a microSD card. A variety of wireless modules are also hidden under the body of the device. To access the Internet, you can use LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac networks, and to pay for purchases – NFC. The manufacturer saved on the 'blue tooth', only the fourth version is used here.

Many Russians refuse to buy smartphones, which include a battery with a minimum capacity. That must be why Yandex.Telephone is capable of boasting a 3050 mAh battery. It is charged via USB Type-C. The device also has a 3.5 mm audio jack, which is also good news.

Advantages

  • Fingerprint sensor is not forgotten;
  • A modern connector is used;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • High speed wireless networks are supported;
  • There is NFC support;
  • Decent display
  • Affordable price tag.

disadvantages

  • Not the longest battery life;
  • Not the best branded shell;
  • Unpretentious front camera;
  • Some specimens have small defects.

BQ 6200L Aurora

Rating: 4.7

BQ 6200L AURORA.jpg

Smartphones of the Russian company BQ usually please with low cost. Moreover, they are usually modern devices with good technical characteristics. In particular, the 6200L Aurora can be considered as such. This device received a frameless design, its front camera and numerous sensors are located in the so-called monobrow – a figured cutout of the display. The fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear panel, and there is also a dual camera. And for all this they ask only 10 thousand rubles.

This device works with Android 8.1. Access to the global web is carried out via LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Alas, the list of other wireless modules is limited to the fourth version of the 'blue tooth'. The manufacturer refused from NFC for the sake of, as it seems, lowering the price tag.

The device uses a dual camera for photo and video shooting. However, it seems that only one lens is working here, under which there is a 16-megapixel matrix. There is no optical stabilization here, so shooting video involves certain problems. It is curious that a similar sensor is built into the front camera. This makes the face recognition function work without any problem.

It should be noted that the smartphone turned out to be heavy. Its weight is 197 g. This is due to the presence here of a very large IPS-display – its diagonal reaches 6.2 inches. The screen has an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9, its resolution is 2246×1080 pixels. This is a wonderful parameter, but one cannot fail to notice that the processor MediaTek Helio P60 has to work hard to process such a picture.

Most of the criticism of this smartphone comes from the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack. The buyer has to use wireless headphones. Well, or connect them using the included USB Type-C adapter.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • Good display
  • The cost is not high;
  • Decent front camera
  • A USB Type-C connector is used;
  • High speed wireless networks are supported;
  • Decent amount of memory.

disadvantages

  • No 3.5mm audio jack;
  • The smartphone is quite heavy;
  • There is no NFC chip;
  • Battery life is not very high.

YotaPhone 2

Rating: 4.6

YOTAPHONE 2.jpg

By far the most unusual member of our collection. What other smartphone can boast an additional display based on electronic paper? We can say that this device combines the functions of a smartphone and an e-book reader. Of course, all of its competitors are also capable of displaying books, offering the user a reading experience. But here this process does not cause increased stress on the eyes, and also practically does not consume battery power.

It was YotaPhone 2 that got into our rating, and not its continuation, for one reason. This is really a Russian device. Unfortunately, the production of YotaPhone 3 was bought out by the Chinese, and only software remained from the Russian developers.

It should be noted that the release of YotaPhone 2 took place a long time ago. In this regard, it is rather difficult to find a device on sale. It is surprising that the gadget still has a very high price tag – they often ask for 15 thousand rubles for it (at the start of sales it was twice as expensive). Well, they have the right, because the device is still unique.

It is sad that this smartphone is provided with a gradually outdated version Android. It displays the image on a 5-inch display with a resolution Full HD. I am glad that this screen is energy efficient, as it was created using AMOLED – technology.

The smartphone is able to please with support for high-speed wireless networks. Moreover, there is even an NFC chip. But during the development of the device, he really was not popular! Not forgotten and GPS navigation, supplemented by support for Russian satellites.

The rest of the device's characteristics are still not impressive. It uses a quad-core processor, which is saved only by the high clock speed. Also under the case are 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. The saddest thing is the lack of a microSD card slot. Because of this, it is better not to try to install heavy applications here, because photos, videos and music will take up a lot of space.

The camera used in YotaPhone 2 also evokes negative emotions. It is only 8 megapixel, which is no good by modern standards. However, if your goal is to take pictures for Instagram, then that will suit you. But you shouldn't even think about selfies.

Advantages

  • There is a second display based on e-ink;
  • Unusual capabilities of Russian software;
  • The cost cannot be called prohibitive;
  • Relatively small size and weight;
  • Good AMOLED – display;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • Supports LTE networks and Wi-Fi 802.11ac;
  • There is an NFC chip.

disadvantages

  • Only one SIM card slot;
  • Disgusting front camera;
  • No space for a memory card;
  • Old version of the operating system;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Weak processor;
  • Little RAM;
  • No fingerprint scanner.

INOI 5i Pro

Rating: 4.5

INOI 5I PRO.jpg

Most often, Russian smartphones are sold for very little money. Otherwise, they simply would not be in demand, because they cannot be called at least something unique. What makes the INOI 5i Pro stand out, for example? But it is for sale, since only 7 thousand rubles are asked for it. Buyers of such devices are not at all worried about the fact that the 5.5-inch display located here has a resolution of only 1280×640 pixels. What's the difference, because the device will be used mainly for calls and access to the social network.

Despite the budget status, the device received the operating system Android 8.1 – a very fresh version. There are also two slots for SIM-cards, which is also important. Internet access is carried out via LTE networks. Well, or via Wi-Fi 802.11n, if the traffic suddenly ends. It also has Bluetooth 4.0. But many buyers use the traditional wired headphone connection instead, as there is no problem with that.

For photo and video filming, a supposedly double camera is used here. However, more likely for photography, since the videos are of quite mediocre quality. As for the front-facing camera, it is even less impressive. Its 5 megapixel resolution is barely enough just for making video calls.

Two connectors are found on the device body. The first is for connecting headphones, while the second is micro-USB. Well, again you will have to insert the wire from the charger from the second or even third time. And you will have to do this quite often, because it uses a battery with a capacity of 2850 mAh.

This is actually a typical budget 'dialer'. This is evidenced by the presence of the processor MediaTek MT6739, which never had enough stars from the sky. Also, the smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. I am glad that there is at least a slot for a microSD card. Without it, the INOI 5i Pro would definitely not be included in our review.

Advantages

  • There is an FM radio;
  • Not the oldest operating system version;
  • The screen is clearly visible in the sun;
  • LTE networks are supported;
  • Small size and weight;
  • Very low cost.

disadvantages

  • There is no NFC chip;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • Not very long battery life;
  • Display resolution – only 1280×640 pixels;
  • Weak processor;
  • Low memory;
  • The micro-USB jack is being used.

BQ 6015L Universe

Rating: 4.4

BQ 6015L Universe.jpeg

The Russian company BQ must be the most prolific smartphone manufacturer. In fact, of course, she's just ordering devices from Chinese suppliers and then branding them, but we don't have to think about that. Because of such fertility, as many as three devices from BQ got into our rating. One of them is 6015L Universe. This device should appeal to anyone looking for a bezel-less teardrop-shaped smartphone at a low price point. However, you have to come to terms with the relatively low resolution of such a screen. It is only 1528×720 pixels. However, pixelation is not noticeable, so hardly anyone will worry about this.

The device is operated under Android 8.0. Its slide-out tray holds two SIM cards. It was not without an LTE module, so Internet surfing is carried out at a decent speed. There are also Wi-Fi modules, Bluetooth and even NFC.

The rear panel of the device houses the usual camera module consisting of a 13-megapixel matrix. Interestingly, the resolution of the front camera is even slightly higher. This leads us to conclude that BQ 6015L Universe is mainly for taking selfies and not for photographing landscapes. It's nice that the budget device has got a fingerprint scanner at its disposal, which is able to protect images from prying eyes.

Under the body of the gadget is an eight-core Snapdragon 435 processor. It has a decent power reserve. This chipset is definitely better than budget creations MediaTek. The device also received 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. If the volume of the latter is not enough, you can use the slot for a microSD memory card, the maximum system determines a 128-gigabyte drive.

Perhaps this is a good smartphone. For it it is quite possible to give the money that is asked even outside of sales. Only the low resolution of the display and the aging connector used to connect the charger will have to accept. But the device has not been deprived of a 3.5 mm audio jack!

Advantages

  • Not the oldest OS version;
  • Low cost;
  • The screen has wide viewing angles;
  • NFC supported;
  • Works in LTE networks;
  • Decent front camera
  • There is a fingerprint scanner.

disadvantages

  • Low display resolution;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Not very long battery life.

Digma LINX PAY 4G

Rating: 4.3

DIGMA LINX PAY 4G.jpg

And this is an even cheaper smartphone. Therefore, he must be treated even more condescendingly. This model is intended for elderly people who do not require any broad functionality. Also Digma LINX PAY 4G is regularly bought for schoolchildren. Those will definitely appreciate the ability to access the Internet via LTE networks. They will also be pleased with the relatively recent version of the operating system.

It should be noted that this smartphone turned out to be weighty. And it is completely unclear what caused this. On the front panel of the device there is a not very large display, its diagonal is only 5.5 inches. The 2900mAh battery can't be heavy either. And the plastic body certainly didn't affect the weight. Well, one can only guess …

Despite the extremely low cost, the device received a fingerprint scanner. Of course, he belongs to one of the very first generations, but the very fact of his presence cannot but rejoice. The product also received an NFC chip. This means that they can pay for purchases at regular stores. Also, the list of wireless modules present here includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

You might get the impression that this is a wonderful smartphone with no flaws. However, it is not for nothing that he practically closes our collection. The creation of the Russian company has a modest quad-core processor MediaTek MT6739. You should definitely not expect miracles from him. Even more confusing are 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. With the purchase of such a smartphone, you will definitely have to forget about installing any heavy applications.

Above, we talked about which people will like such a device the most. The rest should not buy it. In particular, the option of acquiring it is definitely not worth considering for those who are going to use a smartphone for photographing. The fact is that only an 8-megapixel camera is used here. It is supposedly double, but in fact, the second module is practically not used. As for the front-facing camera, there is nothing to say about it, because it has a 2 Mp matrix at its disposal.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • Very low cost;
  • LTE networks are supported;
  • There is NFC;
  • Not the worst IPS display
  • FM radio available;
  • Very recent version Android.

disadvantages

  • A micro-USB socket is used;
  • Very little memory;
  • Weak processor built in;
  • Not the longest running time;
  • Large weight;
  • Disgusting cameras.

BQ 5516L Twin

Rating: 4.1

BQ 5516L TWIN.jpeg

Another very inexpensive smartphone. Its cost in Russian stores is about 6 thousand rubles. For this money, it is stupid to ask for a device with great characteristics. However, it must be admitted that this device is capable of surprising. For example, its 5.5-inch display has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Complete Full HD in such an inexpensive device! What more could you ask for?

The functionality of the gadget is provided by Android 8.1. This is the standard for most budget smartphones currently being released. The gadget has two slots for SIM-cards. Until they are installed, the scales under the gadget show only 154 g. Not bad! And this is with the battery, the capacity of which is brought to a quite decent 3080 mAh!

If you turn the camera over, you can see two lenses. Yes, this is another cheap dual camera smartphone. As you may have guessed, the matrix under the second lens is most often inactive. As for the main optical unit, there is a relatively good 13-megapixel sensor under it. Surprisingly, the front camera also has a fairly high resolution. However, all of the above in no way suggests that the device creates perfect pictures. If you want to regularly take photos and videos, then you do not need a Russian smartphone, but something from Samsung, Huawei or at least Xiaomi.

The buyer should definitely be pleased with the processor installed here. This is a creation MediaTek, but at least eight cores. But the amount of memory here is very small. And if there are no special problems with RAM, then 16 GB of built-in storage will not allow installing some heavy applications. It is better to use a memory card to save music, photos and other things.

As for wireless modules, you will find a standard set of them. This means that the device supports the standards Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and LTE. Alas, the Russian company had to abandon NFC. There is no infrared transmitter here either, but hardly anyone will worry about its absence.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • Very light weight;
  • Excellent IPS display
  • Very low cost;
  • A fairly fresh version of the OS;
  • Decent front camera.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Not very long battery life;
  • There is no NFC;
  • Very little memory.

Digma HIT Q500 3G

Rating: 4.0

DIGMA HIT Q500 3G.jpg

The cheapest and fairly old smartphone rounds off our selection. In stores, they ask for only 3 thousand rubles. Even some push-button phones are on sale for a higher price! This unequivocally hints that Digma HIT Q500 3G is similar to them in its capabilities.

When using this device, you may run out of memory. The fact is that the volume of the built-in storage here does not exceed 8 GB! Therefore, the device should only be used as a 'dialer'. Of the additional applications, it will be possible to install only social network clients, and even then not all.

The device is based on the Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. It is now one of the cheapest quad-core chips. He is helped by 1 GB of RAM. The body of the device is made of plastic, which is partly why the weight of the smartphone is only 146 g. Apparently, the Russian company hopes to sell the device in large quantities. That is why she has released as many as five variants of the device, differing in body colors!

The operating system used here is Android 7.0. The interface is displayed on a simple display with a diagonal of five inches. The resolution of 854×480 does not allow recommending using a smartphone for reading or viewing books. If you look closely, there is even a noticeable pixelation! Moreover, such a screen is not capable of boasting wide viewing angles.

Most of all, the buyer of Digma HIT Q500 3G will be saddened by the lack of LTE support. It also uses a very old Bluetooth module. However, this does not matter, in most cases wired headphones will be connected to this device. Well, there is no NFC chip here at all, as well as a fingerprint scanner.

Despite the simplest components that this device is endowed with, it can still be bought for an elderly person or a child. But, of course, the period of use of such a 'tube' is unlikely to be long; soon it will be desirable to replace it.

Advantages

  • There is an FM radio;
  • Extremely low cost;
  • There is a slot for a memory card;
  • Compact dimensions;
  • Low weight;
  • Five body colors to choose from;
  • Nice appearance.

disadvantages

  • The simplest cameras;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • A micro-USB socket is used;
  • Very little memory;
  • Very weak processor;
  • Bad display.

Conclusion

This is the list of the best smartphones among those that can be conditionally considered Russian. However, the product called YotaPhone 2 is indeed a domestic device – it is the only representative of our rating, which was developed by our specialists. It can also be considered the most unique device, because none of the competitors can boast of a second display based on electronic paper.
