The best H7 halogen lamps

Let's start our review with halogens. Still, this is a fairly massive part of the market, and a significant proportion of consumers choose this type of lamps for a car. Our experts identified three interesting solutions in the mass of the market from the most famous manufacturers – Dutch Philips, German Osram and BOSCH

Philips VisionPlus

Rating: 4.9

h7 Philips VisionPlus

This is a highly popular halogen lamp with a 'standard' yellow-white shade of light. The cap is made in a dark color, and the base itself is chrome-plated. The famous Dutch company has applied all its know-how in the technology of fine quartzization of glass with an ultraviolet filter. As a result, all other things being equal, it is possible to get 60% more light. These are statements by the manufacturer, while user reviews often speak of less impressive performance, but still noticeably higher.

This increase in light intensity gives the driver an advantage in terms of driving safety and overall comfort. The tests were carried out at a distance of 50 and 75 m from the car, and in both cases the results of the driver's response were on average better, faster and more accurate.

If measured directly in the range of headlights, then the visible beam of Philips VisionPlus halogen lamps turns out to be longer than ordinary H7 halogen lamps by an average of 20-25 meters. These 25 meters can solve a lot in difficult road conditions, especially if the driver is also not in the most vigorous mood.

The Philips VisionPlus lamp requires 12V, 55W power.

Advantages

  • even luminous flux without spots and flares;

  • pleasant yellowish-white light color;

  • noticeably better quality of light in bad weather compared to analogues;

disadvantages

  • the claimed 60% increase in coverage looks more like a marketing ploy, but the advantage is still noticeable.

Osram H7 Original

Rating: 4.8

Osram H7 Original

Next in our rating is a halogen lamp from the German company Osram, and first, we will remind you what this manufacturer is all about. Osram is specialized in lighting and related products. The headquarters is located in Munich, Germany. For quite a long time Osram worked as a subsidiary of the German Siemens, but in the end it went free floating, not least because of the influence of anti-globalization.

The name of this famous brand is formed by the verbal fusion of the chemical elements osmium and tungsten. Manufacturing is scattered all over the world to some extent. OSRAM now has 48 production facilities in 17 countries.

Main technical characteristics of Osram H7 Original autolamps: type – H7, technology – halogen, color temperature – 3200K, power – 55W, base type – PX26d, voltage – 12V. The flange base has two contacts and a limitation of the distance between the spiral itself and the flange, due to which it is possible to accurately position the lamp at the desired distance relative to the reflector.

This halogen lamp goes to the low beam, with which in the appropriate season, according to traffic rules, you need to drive around the clock, respectively, and the load on it is prohibitive. Therefore, the durability of the Osram H7 Original is objectively not the most outstanding, as many users point out.

Advantages

  • excellent combination of price and quality;

  • does not blind oncoming drivers;

  • even yellowish light;

disadvantages

  • many users point to a short service life.

BOSCH H7 Pure Light

Rating: 4.7

BOSCH H7 Pure Light

The German lamps BOSCH H7 Pure Light round out this rating group. The design of the lamp, namely the base of the PX26d, has all the advantages of the H7 standard – resistance to vibrations and ease of self-installation with adjustment of the seat in the headlamp in relation to the reflector.

Like the previous models, the PX26d flange base has a limited distance from the flange to the helix. Power consumption – 55 watts. Working voltage – 12 V.

The lamp bulb is made of high quality UV-resistant glass. It is unpainted, completely transparent. The lamp emits a bright, but pleasant yellowish color, which is comfortable for the eyes and does not dazzle oncoming drivers at night.

BOSCH H7 Pure Light halogen lamp is used only for passenger vehicles to equip headlights with running lights, low and high beam, fog lights. Supplied on sale one piece in a standard blister.

Advantages

  • increased reliability and durability;

  • pleasant, non-blinding yellowish light;

  • resistance of the glass of the flask to ultraviolet light;

disadvantages

  • no pronounced disadvantages were noted.

The best H7 bulbs with enhanced luminous flux

Now we open the second group of the rating and take a look at high-performance lamps for cars of the H7 standard with a noticeably higher luminous flux. The specialists liked four models – two from Philips and one each from the German company Osram and the Japanese concern Koito.

PHILIPS RacingVision + 150% H7

Rating: 4.9

PHILIPS RacingVision + 150% H7

The four reinforced car lamps are opened by the PHILIPS RacingVision rally lamp. The brightness of this model is increased by 150%, which allows the driver to quickly recognize and react to obstacles on the road with a much greater guarantee.

The Dutch manufacturer turned out to be, as always, good in this product. The location of the filament is optimized with filigree precision, the gas in a high-quality quartz glass flask is under a pressure of 13 bar. Glass is not susceptible to UV radiation. The base part is chrome-plated.

Independent tests show that it is PHILIPS RacingVision that provides such a contrast that allows the driver to fully adequately and quickly distinguish the outlines of objects in front. This is also facilitated by the color temperature of the light flux.

Experts recommend this lamp for vehicles with suitable headlights for use in presumably harsh, winter conditions with poor visibility.

The halogen lamp is powered by 112 V and consumes 55 W. The base here is of the PX26d standard – the same as that of other H7 lamps.

Advantages

  • optimized for winter conditions;

  • gives improved contrast;

  • the declared increase in luminous flux of 150% corresponds to reality in practice;

disadvantages

  • not marked.

PHILIPS H7 X-treme Vision 3700K

Rating: 4.8

PHILIPS H7 X-treme Vision 3700K

The second position in our ranking is the super-efficient H7 X-treme Vision halogen lamp from the same Dutch manufacturer as the previous solution. The increase in brightness, other things being equal, in this model is slightly less than in the previous one – 130%, but it still significantly affects the performance and ride comfort at night.

In practice, the improved lamp performance also yields a beam lengthening of as much as 45 meters when compared to the same standard lamps – this is confirmed by numerous independent tests. Mental comfort and driving safety at such a range are provided.

The spiral is housed in a Philips Quartz Glass flask, created using a patented technology. Its plus is that it can withstand a much higher pressure of a mixture of gases, much more prevents degradation of the tungsten filament. All this in combination gives a noticeably longer service life of the product on average.

The halogen lamp consumes 55 W and produces a beam with a color temperature of 3700K. The power supply requires a voltage of 12 V. In addition to the considered specification H7, this model is available in versions H4 and H1.

Advantages

  • 130% increased brightness compared to standard counterparts;

  • longest rated service life in its class;

  • super strong quartz glass Philips Quartz Glass;

disadvantages

  • not marked.

OSRAM H7 Night Breaker Unlimited

Rating: 4.7

OSRAM H7 Night Breaker Unlimited

This rating group is continued by a new generation of high-brightness halogen lamps from the German company OSRAM. The previous generations were Night Breaker Plus and Night Breaker. The meaningful designation 'Unlimited' in the nomenclature hints to the buyer for a 'sort of' long service life, but, unfortunately, independent tests of previous generations suggest otherwise. In terms of continuous operation, the “life” of the lamps of the previous series was limited to only about 2-3 months. In the 'Unlimited' version, the manufacturer still managed to increase this figure, but still it is by no means a record.

Now for the good. As for the quality of light, here the model of the lamp of this series is really at its best. Literally, according to the results of independent tests, OSRAM H7 Night Breaker Unlimited easily jumped to 1-2 place in terms of an objective indicator – the brightness of the light beam at the control points.

As for the characteristics declared by the manufacturer, here OSRAM promises plus 110% to brightness, plus up to 40 meters to range and even plus about 20% to whiteness. They are not cunning about the limited lifespan – they say that it is half as much when compared with 'standard' lamps.

The conclusion from all this is as follows. For routine driving around the city, these halogen lamps cannot be recommended, since when the headlights are always on according to traffic rules, they will quickly burn out, moreover, they are very expensive. But on the other hand, for a long journey and maximum safety on a long journey with a change of time of day, they are practically out of competition.

Advantages

  • impeccable purity of light;

  • optimal for a long journey with a change of time of day;

  • excellent contrast;

disadvantages

  • noticeably high cost;

  • short service life.

Koito WhiteBeam H7

Rating: 4.6

Koito WhiteBeam H7

Koito high performance car bulbs WhiteBeam H7 are the only 'Japanese' not only in this rating group, but in the entire review. They close this group, and our experts decided to pay attention to this model precisely because of all the wonderful qualities that KOITO products are famous for. For reference, about 20% of the world market for automotive optics is exactly KOITO. The production is located in Japan itself.

Koito WhiteBeam H7 halogen bulbs are used in passenger cars to equip headlights. The characteristics declared by the manufacturer indicate that this model, with the same power supply and power consumption (12V and 55W), produces twice as bright luminous flux with a color temperature of 4200K. Lamps meet all industry global standards: ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO / TS16949.

A feature of this model is a noticeably longer average service life than other comparable high-power lamps. The halogen lamp gives an even and pleasant bright white light. As for the range, according to the test results, it was revealed that it is indeed increased, but not particularly significantly. But the difference in width is really visible – the view is much better. With all the power of the light output, the headlights themselves never overheat.

Advantages

  • pronounced bright white light;

  • relatively long service life;

  • headlights do not overheat;

  • extended overview;

disadvantages

  • in rain and snow they noticeably lose their advantages.

Best H7 LED Bulbs

Now we are opening the most voluminous topic in our rating, where experts have collected as many as six worthy models of LED automobile lamps of the H7 standard. The most important advantages of this type of product are as follows:

  1. there is no need for a bulb filled with gas, since the light comes directly from the diodes and does not depend on the chemical factor;
  2. they are characterized by very low heating – up to 50 degrees Celsius;
  3. minimum power consumption (almost all electricity goes directly to generating photons);
  4. highly environmentally friendly;
  5. very long service life.

At the same time, it should be added that LEDs 'in pure form' give a clearly unidirectional luminous flux. This forces manufacturers to resort to all sorts of tricks, otherwise LED bulbs can cause dazzle and produce uneven lighting. With these disadvantages, each manufacturer of automotive lamps fights its own methods. Another disadvantage (possibly temporary in the long term) is a noticeably higher price for LED lamps with similar 'halogen' and other types of characteristics.

ClearLight LED Flex Ultimate H7

Rating: 4.9

ClearLight LED Flex Ultimate H7

Opening up this review group are LED lamps a bit 'guerrilla', but still worthy of the ClearLight brand. This is the LED Flex Ultimate H7 model. They are used to equip low and high beam headlights, as well as for foglights.

The manufacturer loudly emphasizes, they say, “developed in Germany”, and if by this we understand the contract work of the German design bureau, then there is no reason not to trust these statements. As for the country of origin, everything is quite expected here – China.

Not all LED parts are strictly Chinese. So, for example, the most important part – LEDs – from the famous brand CREE (USA). And the manufacturer also emphasizes this point in every possible way, claiming that CREE LEDs are currently the brightest in the world.

One LED lamp weighs a little over 400 g, consumes 24 W, and produces a luminous flux of 5500 lumens with a color temperature of 6000K. An effective tape cooling system protects the LEDs from overheating.

A special 'snag' is built into the electronics of the car lamp, ensuring compatibility with any on-board computer.

The manufacturer and distributors provide a standard warranty of 12 months and an extended warranty of 18 months.

Advantages

  • quality light;

  • extended warranty;

  • reliability;

  • ease of installation;

disadvantages

  • not marked.

Optima MultiColor Ultra H7 3800Lm

Rating: 4.8

Optima MultiColor Ultra H7 3800Lm

Our rating continues with an interesting solution from the well-known Optima brand. It is interesting not only for its quite impressive technical characteristics, but first of all for the ability to realize different shades of headlights glow by simple manipulation with a set of special films. Available colors: yellow (3000k), white-yellow (4200k), white (5100k), white-blue (6200k), blue (8100k).

In the series of LED lamps from the Optima light automotive division, this model is almost the brightest at 3800 lumens. They are specially designed for use in harsh climatic environments. Designed to equip headlights and fog lights in cars and trucks, as well as motorcycles and special equipment.

The most important part of the car lamp is a pair of LEDs from the famous American brand CREE-XHP50. The design uses a fanless cooling system using only a radiator. The body is made of anodized aluminum. It is characterized by high moisture resistance.

The device consumes 20 W of power, uses an operating voltage from 9 to 32 V, depending on the specific nomenclature, the maximum starting current is 3 A.

Advantages

  • variability of color temperature;

  • correct geometry of light;

  • endurance in difficult weather conditions;

disadvantages

  • no pronounced shortcomings were noted.

Philips H7 X-Treme Ultinon LED

Rating: 4.7

Philips H7 X-Treme Ultinon LED

Next in this rating group are LED lamps from a manufacturer that needs no introduction – Philips, namely the X-Treme Ultinon LED model. The manufacturer proudly claims to have improved visibility by as much as 200% compared to ordinary auto lamps, and reviews from real buyers in general indicate that the manufacturer is not being cunning. Technically, the color temperature of the beam is 6000K.

Philips representatives also emphasize the importance of using Safe Beam technology in this model – improved accuracy of concentration of light in the right directions.

As for the compatibility of these LED lamps with different cars, not everything is so perfect here, but in many ways this is not a drawback, but a kind of 'specialization'. This lamp model is designed for complex projection headlights. They can work fine on a wide variety of systems, but they certainly won't work on every machine. The reaction of the on-board computer to them is also different – in some it is recognized as 'burnt out', and you need to additionally install a snag, others have no such problems.

Another plus for the X-Treme Ultinon LED is its definitely long lifespan. Thanks to the efficiency of Philips' proprietary intelligent cooling systems AirFlux and AirCool, the LED lamp can nominally last up to 12 years.

Any experienced motorist can easily cope with the installation of LED lamps. To do this, you must first measure the opening of the headlight and the free space behind the headlight. The hole must be at least 6 cm in diameter, and the free space behind the headlamp must be at least 7 cm. Also, make sure that the connector does not serve as a lamp holder. If so, then this model will not work for you.

Advantages

  • long service life;

  • fairly easy to install;

  • high-quality 'daylight' light;

disadvantages

  • for many car models it is necessary to deliver 'fake'.

Narva H7 RANGE POWER 6000K

Rating: 4.7

Narva H7 RANGE POWER 6000K

The rating continues from the car lamps of the German company NARVA Speziallampen GmbH, which has been pleasing motorists with excellent quality products for half a century. The RANGE POWER 6000K model speaks for itself in terms of the color temperature of the beam, and users confirm in their reviews that LED lamps give an even, pleasant white light. Brightness and other 'subtle' beam characteristics give excellent visibility and contrast. One 16W LED lamp consumes, the required voltage is 12V.

The LED lamps of this model are also good for their compactness, due to which the range of car models, the headlights of which they will fit in size, is significantly expanded. Also, many users note the exceptional ease of installation. During installation, no adapters or ignition units are needed – everything you need is already contained in the lamp design.

According to the official assurances of the manufacturer, LED lamps have sufficient heat resistance to guarantee a long service life without loss of lighting quality. Uses patented heat dissipation technology and heat dissipation system.

It also highlights the advanced design that guarantees a safe and comfortable ride without dazzling oncoming drivers.

A separate advantage is noticeably effective dust and moisture protection according to the IP65 standard.

  • compact (suitable for more headlights);

  • flawless white light that does not dazzle oncoming drivers;

  • high-quality moisture and dust protection;

  • easy installation;

disadvantages

  • no pronounced shortcomings were noted.

SHO-ME LH H7

Rating: 4.6

SHO-ME LH H7

Now we will pay attention to an interesting product of the Chinese brand SHO-ME LH H7. Despite all the prejudices about the country of production, the reaction of users to this model is generally very positive, so our experts decided to include it in the rating.

The most important functional part of the car lamp is the LED, from the famous American CREE brand. While this is far from uncommon for quality LED car bulbs, it is definitely a good sign. These LEDs are known as one of the most powerful and long-lasting LEDs on the market today (30,000 hours or more).

An important design point – the car lamp contains two LEDs with a total power consumption of 30 W, and they are located on opposite sides of the case. The size of the LED is equal to the size of the filament in a halogen lamp, which allows you to maintain a clear cut-off line with a twofold increase in brightness (3000 lumens and a color temperature of 5000K).

SHO-ME LH H7 LED bulbs are equipped with efficient cooling fans. Their working temperature ranges from -40 to +105 degrees Celsius. The set includes a control unit. Lamps of this model are approved for use on both cars and trucks.

Advantages

  • American CREE LEDs;

  • even, uniform, 'beautiful' light;

  • long term 'life';

disadvantages

  • according to reviews of real buyers, there are cases of factory defects.

CLEARLIGHT H7

Rating: 4.5

CLEARLIGHT H7

And completing this rating group is another model of LED auto lamps from CLEARLIGHT. This is the most 'uncomplicated' model without additional options or special specifications, but it even has a definite advantage – compatibility with a wide range of car brands.

CLEARLIGHT H7 is available in two versions – 2800 and 4300 lumens with power consumption of 24 and 30 W respectively. The 2800 lm modification is suitable for low beam, high beam and fog lights, but it is recommended to install it in headlights with lenses. Whereas a more powerful modification of 4300 lumens is suitable for both lensed headlights and headlights with or without a cap.

The heart of every LED lamp is the high quality Epistar LED chip, which guarantees reliable performance, consistent performance and long service life.

Experts highlight such advantages in LED lamps of this model as: delicate precise arrangement of LEDs (directly affects the formation of the 'correct' light spot), an effective cooling system (radiator and fan), lightning-fast switching on and off, a separate power supply, an integrated controller.

Advantages

  • Epistar LED chip;

  • long service life;

  • instant on / off;

  • precise arrangement of LEDs;

  • built-in CANBUS controller board;

disadvantages

  • not marked.

Best H7 halogen bulbs: xenon effect

Further in the rating of the best automotive lamps of the H7 standard from we will consider a group of interesting technological solutions – halogen lamps with xenon effect. Our experts recommend four models from different brands: Mtf-Light, Osram, Philips and Hella.

Mtf-Light Palladium H7

Rating: 4.9

Mtf-Light Palladium H7

This group is opened by a lamp of the Russian trade mark and the South Korean production Mtf-Light Palladium H7. This is an excellent solution for individual tuning of automotive optics and, in this particular case, for xenon 'fans'. Produced at the facilities of Namyung Co. Ltd. (South Korea).

The manufacturer himself characterizes the luminous flux from a halogen lamp as 'crystal blue'. Actually, this is largely true – the color temperature of the beam is 5500K. Experts remember to emphasize that these halogen bulbs work well with 'real' 6000K xenon bulbs.

The manufacturer managed to achieve high aesthetic and performance characteristics due to the special composition of glass, multilayer interference coating and special spraying. Halogen lamps of this model confidently block ultraviolet light and are completely safe for plastic headlights.

The energy characteristics of this model are standard for this type of car lamps: power supply – 12V, power consumption – 55W. They fully comply with all relevant European standards and the corresponding Russian requirements. Supplied in a blister pack of 2 per set.

Advantages

  • pleasant, even, crystal blue light;

  • reliability and durability;

  • safety for plastic headlights;

disadvantages

  • up to 15% reduction in luminous flux in comparison with analogues due to spraying.

Osram Cool Blue Intense H7

Rating: 4.8

Osram Cool Blue Intense H7

The rating continues with a halogen lamp from the famous German company Osram. The nomenclature itself contains a hint of 'intense', 'cold' and 'blue' light. With the first two positions – the order, but about the blue tint, here the manufacturer is slightly disingenuous, since in fact the color of the beam is white – this is confirmed by numerous reviews of real buyers.

The rest of the product's characteristics are quite decent. The halogen lamp produces bright, high-contrast light that is pleasing to the eye and close to natural. The color temperature is 4000K, that is, the light is really 'cold', like that of xenon, but it still has little in common with the promised blue.

Compared to standard halogen bulbs, this model offers 20% more brightness. It is characterized by excellent contrast of illumination of the roadway itself, markings and signs. Another plus is the special design of the lamp with a silver dome. This model is ideal for headlights with clear glass.

Connection parameters are standard – voltage 12V, power consumption – 55W.

Advantages

  • + 20% brightness compared to standard lamps;

  • optimized design;

  • good contrast;

  • light close to daylight;

disadvantages

  • not the most durable.

  • there is no declared blueness;

Philips CrystalVision

Rating: 4.7

Philips CrystalVision

Next in the ranking is the very popular Philips car lamps with xenon effect. They give a bright, white, even light with a subtle bluish tint. Color temperature – 4300K. Compared to standard lamps, this model adds about 30% to the brightness of the head lighting. Designed to equip headlights with low and high beam. Supplied in sets of 2 in a blister pack.

The lamp bulb is made using Philips proprietary technology – quartz reinforced glass with optical polishing and an ultraviolet filter. Cap, gray, chrome plated base. Power supply is standard for this type of halogen lamps – voltage 12V, power consumption – 55W.

Experts recommend this halogen lamp for all weather conditions. At night, the visual comfort compared to standard lamps is especially noticeable due to range, brightness and contrast.

Like all other Philips products for equipping automotive optics, Philips CrystalVision has all the necessary certificates of European standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and QSO 9000, as well as comply with Russian requirements and regulations.

Advantages

  • even, bright, rich white light;

  • good contrast at night and the visibility of small objects;

  • one third brighter than 'standard' lamps;

disadvantages

  • on dipped beam headlights, according to user reviews, the service life is noticeably reduced.

Hella Cool Blue H7

Rating: 4.6

Hella h7

And this group of our rating is closed by a halogen lamp of the German brand Hella with an H7 base. This is the most ordinary technological solution in this group, nothing 'fantastic' not remarkable, but our experts nevertheless decided to include this model in the review due to its main advantage – an affordable price.

This model is part of the Standard series of this manufacturer's halogen lamps. Despite all the “standard”, users are almost unanimous in the high assessment of its service life. It is equipped mainly with dipped and main beam headlights, much less often with foglights.

A halogen lamp gives a very good, even and powerful luminous flux with a color close to daylight. But just in terms of the xenon effect, this model balances on the edge. So, for those car enthusiasts who need a pronounced xenon effect, it is better to look at another model on our list.

The energy indicators of a halogen lamp are standard for this class: the required voltage is 12V, the power consumption is 55W. Supplied for sale in a minimalistic cardboard box, the kit contains the lamp itself (1 pc.) And a brief instruction in different languages.

Advantages

  • increased service life;

  • very affordable price.

disadvantages

  • the xenon effect is minimal.

The best H7 xenon lamps

From halogen car lamps with xenon effect, we now move in our ranking to 'real' xenon without any conventions. First, let us remind the reader what the essence of xenon lamp technology is, and what are their advantages or disadvantages.

So, today it is one of the most advanced technologies applicable to the production of automotive lamps. Xenon lamps consume, on average, one third less electricity than standard lamps, while generating a significantly more powerful luminous flux. The service life of xenon lamps is several times higher than that of halogen lamps. There is practically no heating of headlamp glasses, which is very important for foglights, where it is critically necessary to prevent cracking due to temperature changes.

Of course, xenon lamps are not without drawbacks, but they are not fundamental: too frequent switching from high beam to low beam and back is undesirable (reduced service life); it is highly desirable to change a couple of lamps at once, and not one when it fails; tangible (but not prohibitive) cost.

MTF-Light H7

Rating: 4.9

MTF-Light H7

The three models of the 'xenon' group of our rating are opened by the model of the Russian trade mark MTF-Light H7. It is produced on a contract basis in South Korea. Designed for reflex and lensed automotive optics.

These xenon lamps are available in three color temperature options for the light flux: warm white (4300K), white (5000K), cold white (6000K) and when buying, you need to pay attention to the corresponding article.

The power consumption of the xenon lamp is 35W, the operating voltage is 85V. With such indicators of energy consumption, the device produces a luminous flux with a brightness of 2600 to 3200 lm (depending on the specific article). The bulb is made of high quality quartz glass with high UV blocking rates.

A xenon lamp is characterized by an almost lightning-fast start (arc formation time – 0.3 sec) from any state. Gains 80% brightness in 5 seconds.

Advantages

  • quick start from both cold and hot states;

  • high protection against interference;

  • compatible with the widest range of control units;

  • high resistance to vibrations;

disadvantages

  • no pronounced shortcomings were noted.

Sho-Me H7

Rating: 4.8

Sho-Me H7

Next in the rating is a good-quality 'Chinese' – a Sho-Me xenon lamp with an H7 base. This model can serve as a good replacement for standard optics, especially since the nomenclature includes a wide range of articles by color temperature criterion: 3000, 4300, 5000 and 6000 Kelvin. So, almost any motorist will be able to pick up the option 'to taste'. These lamps are equipped with low and high beam headlights, as well as fog lights.

The service life of a xenon lamp is about 3 thousand hours in ordinary daily use. This is a very good indicator, but, unfortunately, it is 'balanced' by a rather noticeable factor of rapid lamp failure. This is not a critical or mass pattern, but it is present.

The operating voltage ranges from 9 to 16V, depending on the nomenclature. Power consumption – 35W. The flask is made of high quality unpainted glass that blocks ultraviolet light. Comes on sale in a laconic cardboard box, includes 2 lamps. Manufacturer's warranty – 12 months.

Advantages

  • wide range of color temperature selection;

  • affordable price;

  • good quality and range of light flux;

disadvantages

  • cases of factory defects and quick burnout.

Maxlux H7

Rating: 4.7

Maxlux H7

And closes the top three of the best xenon auto lamps in the rating from another interesting model – Maxlux H7. This is a South Korean trade mark, but finished products are produced not in South Korea, but in China. And there is a significant amount of irony here, since the lamps are not produced anywhere, but at the facilities of Sho-Me factories on a contract basis. At the same time, the cost of Maxlux lamps is on average higher than that of analogues from Sho-Me.

Despite all the 'tricks' with the globalization of production, Maxlux H7 xenon lamps are worth a look anyway. They are produced in three different color temperatures: the 'standard' 4300K and bluish shades with a color temperature of 5 and 6 thousand Kelvin.

Connection parameters are standard: voltage – 12V, power consumption – 35W. With this power consumption, xenon lamps confidently emit a luminous flux of about 3000 lumens. The nominal service life declared by the manufacturer is up to 2000 hours.

Advantages

  • choice of color temperature;

  • acceptable cost;

  • high brightness;

disadvantages
