Best low-cost smartphones with powerful battery

OUKITEL K10000 Pro

Rating: 4.8

OUKITEL K10000 Pro

Despite the low cost, this device looks very stylish. This applies to both the front and rear panels. In front you can see a special design of the earpiece, as well as a special strip under the display. Well, if you look at the smartphone from behind, you might think that this is a device from Vertu.

Oddly enough, the manufacturer invested in more than just the design. The device is capable of boasting quite decent characteristics. It has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution Full HD. The operating system is the seventh version Android. It functions without serious problems, for which one should thank the eight-core processor MediaTek MT6750. Only in games does it become noticeable that a budget smartphone is in the hands – in many projects it is necessary to reduce the level of graphics.

This device consumes traffic via LTE networks. Photos taken with the built-in 13-megapixel camera can be posted on the Internet. The quality of the pictures is not disgusting, but it is far from ideal either. As for the front camera, it will be mainly used for video communication. The 5-megapixel module copes with the task of creating a selfie picture much worse. In a word, the manufacturer saved on cameras. But, admittedly, mediocre photography is better than the absence of a fingerprint scanner. In OUKITEL K10000 Pro, it is located on the rear panel – right under the lens.

The gadget includes 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. You can increase the volume of the latter, but the microSD slot here is combined with a place for a second SIM card – this will seriously upset someone. Finally, the autonomous operation of the device is provided by a battery with a capacity of, terrible to say, 10000 mAh. It seems that this will be enough for absolutely all buyers for two and a half or even three days of using a smartphone. Of course, it has a smartphone and support for fast charging technology. I must say that almost all gadgets considered in this rating are equipped with it.

Advantages

  • Extremely large battery
  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • Implemented support for LTE;
  • An eight-core processor is installed;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Good IPS display
  • Gorgeous appearance (partly metal case);
  • Relatively good rear camera
  • Low cost.

disadvantages

  • Weight reaches 288 g;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • There is no NFC;
  • Weak flash.

Ulefone Power 3s

Rating: 4.7

Ulefone Power 3s

Some people will call this smartphone bezel-less. In fact, the side frames are, of course, present here, even if they turned out to be very narrow. A 6-inch IPS panel is used as a screen. The resolution is 2160×1080 pixels. We can safely say that it is ideal for using two applications at the same time. And to display them on the screen Android 8.1 can – you just need to get used to the appropriate gesture. The processor does not experience any problems at this moment either, because a powerful eight-core MediaTek Helio P23 is involved in it. In many games, you don't even need to reduce the level of graphics – the Mali-G71 MP2 video accelerator most often copes with its processing. And under the body of the device there are 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory.

There is a dual camera on the back of the smartphone. The resolution of the matrices used is 13 and 5 megapixels. There is no optical zoom here – the second module can be called auxiliary, it is used to recognize the background. The camera performs well even in the evening, for which we should thank the f / 2 aperture. A 'front-end' is also introduced here. It is also double – the resolution of the sensors is 8 and 5 megapixels. The smartphone is trained to recognize faces, although fingerprint scanning still seems more reliable.

The Ulefone Power 3s does not have a 3.5mm audio jack on the case. Headphones are connected using the included adapter. Alternatively, you can stream audio to a wireless headset using Bluetooth 4.1. There is USB Type-C as the only connector on the case. It is through this socket that the battery is recharged, the capacity of which reaches 6350 mAh. The product supports fast charging technology, so the process does not take very long. The smartphone weighs 210 g – this is not such a big parameter, it should not scare away buyers.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • Good rear camera
  • Quite good front camera;
  • A fresh version of the operating system is installed;
  • Excellent IPS display
  • LTE networks are supported;
  • Built-in powerful processor;
  • 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory;
  • A USB Type-C connector is used.

disadvantages

  • No separate audio jack;
  • There is no NFC;
  • Dimensions may seem oversized.

VERTEX Impress Play

Rating: 4.6

VERTEX Impress Play

One of the simplest outwardly smartphones in our ranking. Most of all, it resembles the previous generation Samsung devices. There is also a physical Home button with a chrome trim. You expect from it the function of scanning a fingerprint, but there is no corresponding sensor here – it was removed in order to achieve the cost of a smartphone at the level of 10 thousand rubles.

Usually smartphones with a powerful battery weigh an awful lot. But this model should be considered an exception to the rule – its mass does not exceed 183 g, which is quite a tolerable parameter. However, the battery capacity here is far from the record one – 5000 mAh. Someone will be enough for two days of battery life, and someone will use the device more mercilessly – in this case, the charger will need to be connected the next day. By the way, a micro-USB connector is used here, which will not suit every customer. But 3 GB of RAM will definitely please. And 32 GB of built-in storage is quite a normal amount. If this is not enough, then a separate slot for an external drive will come to the rescue. Well, as a processor, the simplest of the eight-core chipsets – MediaTek MT6753 is used here. It supports heavy games, but only with a greatly reduced graphics level.

To access the Internet, an LTE modem is used here, or Wi-Fi, if you are in the coverage area of the corresponding network. Bluetooth 4.0 is used for audio transmission to the wireless accessory. However, it is easier to use traditional headphones by connecting them to a 3.5 mm mini-jack. In this case, you can also activate the FM radio.

VERTEX Impress Play is an example of an inexpensive smartphone, where the manufacturer did not save either on the screen or on cameras. A 5.5-inch IPS panel with a resolution Full HD is installed here. It is impossible to discern the pixelation, and to find fault with the viewing angles too. Above the display is the front camera, the resolution of which is brought to 16 megapixels. The angle of view of the optics is not the widest. But this is the only thing to which you can make a claim. If you turn the smartphone over, you can see about the same lens from behind – a 16-megapixel matrix is also hidden under it.

You may not like the VERTEX brand. But if you need a device with a capacious battery, relatively light weight, good display and decent cameras, then be sure to try Impress Play. The device is not suitable only for those people who want to get a fingerprint sensor and a powerful processor – they were not brought here. It remains to add that the functionality of the device is provided by Android 7.0.

Advantages

  • Good IPS screen
  • Two slots for SIM cards and one slot for microSD;
  • Not the greatest weight;
  • Great front camera
  • Good rear camera
  • There is an FM radio;
  • 4G networks are supported;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Affordable price tag.

disadvantages

  • The processor could be more powerful;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • There is no NFC.

BQ BQ – 5005L Intense

Rating: 4.5

BQ BQ - 5005L Intense

One of the cheapest smartphones in our ranking. You can buy this device in Russian stores for only 7,500 rubles. or a little more. Alas, in such a budget device, you will no longer find a 1080p screen – here this parameter is reduced to 720p. However, at a 5-inch diagonal, this does not result in pixelation noticeable to the naked eye. But what can I say, the pixel density here is slightly less than that of an order of magnitude more expensive iPhone XR! The screen was created using IPS technology, so there are no problems with viewing angles. Well, above the display you can see a small lens. It belongs to the front camera, the resolution of which is only 5 megapixels. Apparently, it is intended only for video communication. The rear camera, however, is not far from it. Formally, it is double, but the two-megapixel auxiliary matrix almost does not manifest itself in any way. And the main matrix does not shine with resolution – it is only 8 megapixels.

The smartphone is built around a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6737. You should forget about any big games – only casual projects show themselves normally here. Even under the case BQ BQ – 5005L Intense, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory are hidden. Perhaps, it is the volume of the latter that can be called the main drawback of the gadget. If you want to install a huge number of applications, then it is better to consider buying some other smartphone. The fact is that not all of them want to move to a memory card, for which, of course, there is a slot here.

There is no NFC chip among the wireless modules. However, budget smartphones rarely get it. But then there is support for LTE-A, albeit only the fourth category. It seems that the high-speed capabilities of the modem will completely suit 99% of buyers. Wi-Fi is also present here, but nothing interesting can be said about it. As well as about the 'blue tooth'. It is possible that many owners of BQ BQ – 5005L never use Bluetooth at all, preferring to connect headphones with a wired method. But the fingerprint scanner should be of interest to them. It is located on the back panel, above the manufacturer's logo. Unfortunately, the scanner does not work correctly in a hundred percent of cases, but nothing else was expected – it clearly uses a sensor from one of the first generations.

It remains to add that this smartphone has a 6000 mAh battery. It supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology, so the recharging process does not take too long. The device weighs about 210 g with a metal case – it can seriously strain someone.

Advantages

  • Decent IPS display
  • The dimensions are not particularly large;
  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • High quality metal body;
  • Three colors to choose from;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • Capacious battery with fast charging support.

disadvantages

  • Not the best processor;
  • No NFC chip;
  • Low memory;
  • Unpretentious cameras;
  • There is no light sensor.

The best smartphones with a powerful battery in the middle price segment (up to 30,000 rubles)

OUKITEL K10

Rating: 4.9

OUKITEL K10

This smartphone is slightly more expensive than the models discussed above. But on the other hand, it impresses not only with its specifications, but also with a protected case. However, he did not receive the appropriate certificates, so we do not advise you to test his strength. And the apparatus will definitely fail under water. Still, the manufacturer tried to create not a secure, but a long-playing smartphone. To do this, he introduced a battery with a capacity of 11,000 mAh into it. Three days of battery life are guaranteed to you, and for someone it will function even longer. I am glad that there is support for fast charging technology, and therefore this process will not last all night. It's also nice that the device has a USB Type-C connector. Do I need to say that the wire is inserted into it exclusively from the first time?

The front panel of the smartphone houses a 6-inch display. It was created using IPS technology, so the buyer is waiting for the maximum viewing angles and excellent color reproduction. The 18: 9 aspect ratio indicates that it is convenient to work with two applications at the same time. The resolution is 2160×1080 pixels. In short, it is quite difficult to find fault with the screen. And to the cameras too. The rear module is double, it uses matrices with a resolution of 21 and 8 megapixels. The main lens has an aperture of f / 2, which indicates a fairly high aperture. By the way, the camera is capable of high-quality shooting not only photos, but also video – the picture will be written in 4K resolution.

The front camera of this smartphone is slightly worse. It is also double, but the resolution of the sensors installed here is smaller – 13 and 8 megapixels. Nevertheless, even such matrices are enough to create good photos with a blurry background. And even if the device is stolen, other people's eyes will not see these pictures – the fingerprint scanner is responsible for unlocking the smartphone.

This is the first representative of our rating to receive an NFC chip at its disposal. Also included here are LTE, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. All this stuff is provided by an eight-core processor MediaTek Helio P23. Paired with the Mali-G71 MP2 video accelerator, it pulls the maximum graphics in many games (but still not in all). The device also has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. If you are going to regularly shoot 4K video, then it is better to insert a microSD card instead of a second SIM card.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • Excellent IPS display
  • Great rear camera
  • Excellent front camera, which is double;
  • There is NFC;
  • LTE networks are supported;
  • A powerful processor is used;
  • Very large amount of memory;
  • Huge battery capacity and support for fast charging;
  • Built-in USB Type-C connector.

disadvantages

  • Weight is 284g;
  • The dimensions can seem overwhelming;
  • Not the fastest Wi-Fi;
  • Full security would not hurt.

DOOGEE BL12000

Rating: 4.8

DOOGEE BL12000

This is one of those smartphones that comes in two flavors. They differ from each other, as usual, in the amount of memory. The advanced variant offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. But in Russian online stores, there is more often a version that has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. The camera used here cannot shoot in 4K resolution, so any volume can suit you. Then why overpay?

Speaking about cameras, it should be noted that the rear module is double. It includes matrices with a resolution of 16 and 13 megapixels. The shooting quality is very good. It's amazing that a little-known Chinese company managed to endow its creation with such a camera. Nothing bad can be said about the front camera – it is also double, with its help almost the same 16-megapixel photos are created.

To some, this device will certainly seem too large. It is not surprising, because on its front side there is already a 6-inch screen. It was created using IPS technology, so the buyer is waiting for ideal viewing angles. Resolution – 2160×1080 pixels. An eight-core processor MediaTek MT6750T is engaged in image processing for such a display. Perhaps this is the only element that the manufacturer has seriously saved on. The clock speed of 1.5 GHz suggests that heavy games will experience certain problems.

DOOGEE BL12000 received a fingerprint sensor that will protect personal information from prying eyes. There are also wireless modules Bluetooth, LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11n. Alas, there is no NFC, and therefore you will have to forget about using your smartphone as a bank card.

The weight of the gadget is 300 g. This seriously drains the pocket. How big a battery should be in such a heavy device? Answer: 12000 mAh battery. It's a pity that even with such a battery, you will have several days of battery life, not a week.

Advantages

  • Excellent IPS display
  • It's very difficult to find fault with the rear camera;
  • Good front camera
  • There is support for LTE;
  • There is an FM receiver;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Incredibly large battery capacity with fast charging support
  • The fingerprint sensor is not forgotten.

disadvantages

  • Extremely heavy weight;
  • Very large size;
  • There is no NFC.

Blackview P10000 Pro

Rating: 4.7

Blackview P10000 Pro

Another very beautiful smartphone in our ranking. Or even brutal – you can describe it with that word. The back cover of the device is made of plastic, but it has nice texturing. There is also a metal plate that houses the dual camera and LED flash. However, 'double' is a bit tense. If it is difficult to find fault with the 16-megapixel resolution of the main matrix, then the 0.3-megapixel sensor hardly helps in any way. This can be said about the front camera, which includes matrices with a resolution of 13 and 0.3 megapixels. In a word, such a device is not capable of beautiful blurring of the background.

The smartphone turned out to be very large, and its weight reaches 293 g. This is due to the presence of an 11000 mAh battery inside. This parameter is more than enough for three or even four days of battery life, and someone will use a smartphone for almost a week. The device was presented relatively recently, so it managed to get support for the latest version of the fast charging technology MediaTek Pump Express. Most importantly, the network adapter is connected via the USB Type-C connector.

The smartphone belongs to the mid-budget segment, so the presence of a fingerprint scanner is quite natural. Its location is surprising – on the power button located on the side. The device also has an eight-core processor MediaTek Helio P23. It is paired with the Mali-G71 MP2 video accelerator allows you to run almost any games, only in some of them you will have to lower the graphics level. The smartphone also includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory.

The image is displayed here on a 6-inch display. There are no complaints about viewing angles and color rendition. The screen has an aspect ratio of 18: 9, so it is comfortable to watch video and sit in the messenger on such a smartphone at the same time. The display resolution is 2160×1080 pixels.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • Extremely large battery with fast charging support;
  • A USB Type-C connector is used;
  • Built-in powerful processor;
  • Large amount of memory;
  • There is support for 4G networks;
  • Good rear camera
  • Decent front-end;
  • Excellent IPS display.

disadvantages

  • There is no NFC;
  • Weight will not suit everyone;
  • Large sizes;
  • The proximity sensor is not working perfectly.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 4 / 64GB

Rating: 4.7

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 4 / 64GB

Our rating could not do without products Xiaomi. This Chinese company also makes smartphones with powerful batteries from time to time. One of them is the Mi Max 3, announced in July 2018. Outwardly, this device is as simple as possible. This is a regular candy bar with rounded corners, the back panel of which is made of plastic. The device differs from competitors in its gigantic dimensions. And it is precisely the dimensions in general, and not the thickness, which is only 8 mm. There is a place for a 6.9-inch display on the face of the smartphone! Because of this, some people will call this model not a smartphone, but a tablet. Nevertheless, the device is still quite convenient to use for calls. It will not fit into any pocket – yes, this must be taken into account.

The gadget is running Android 8.1 – the most recent version of this operating system. The resolution of 2160×1080 pixels is quite enough to completely ignore the pixelation. Well, the aspect ratio of 18: 9 contributes to comfortable work with two programs at the same time. Above the screen is the lens of an 8-megapixel camera, the possibilities of which suit almost every customer. But the rear camera, which is a double, is much more impressive. Its main lens hides an f / 1.9 aperture and a 12-megapixel sensor. The resolution of the auxiliary sensor does not exceed 5 megapixels, but this is also enough for the system to normally recognize the background. I am glad that with the help of this camera you can shoot 4K video – a rare representative of our rating is capable of this!

The engineers of the Chinese company paid maximum attention to the wireless modules. The device has support for LTE standards, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and even IRDA (control of household appliances via an infrared transmitter). There is only NFC here, but for products Xiaomi this is familiar.

The device is powered by an eight-core Snapdragon 636 processor and a 5500 mAh battery. Against the background of the devices discussed above, such a battery is no longer surprising. But the smartphone weighs no more than 221 g, which can be considered an adequate parameter for this size. Of course, the smartphone supports fast charging technology, and a convenient USB Type-C is used as a connector.

Advantages

  • 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory;
  • A powerful processor is used;
  • There is a USB Type-C connector;
  • Fast charging technology supported;
  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • There are high-speed wireless modules;
  • FM radio is not forgotten;
  • Great rear camera
  • Quite good front camera;
  • The latest version is used Android;
  • The display is created using IPS technology.

disadvantages

  • There is no NFC;
  • Huge size;
  • The firmware may have certain flaws.

ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 ZB602KL

Rating: 4.6

ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 ZB602KL

This smartphone is also very large. However, not prohibitive – only a 6-inch display is used here, and the width of the side frames is reduced to a minimum. The 18: 9 aspect ratio is ideal for working with two applications at the same time. Nothing bad can be said about the resolution, which is 2160×1080 pixels. The screen was created, of course, using IPS technology.

The functionality of this gadget is provided by Android 8.1. At the time of writing the rating, a more recent version of the operating system simply does not exist! If we talk about hardware, then the device is built on the basis of Snapdragon 636. This eight-core chipset, together with the Adreno 509, runs almost any games, only in some projects you will have to increase the frame rate by lowering the graphics level. Also under the body of the smartphone are 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. There is also a slot for a microSD card up to 2 TB. Most importantly, it is separate from the SIM card slots.

The smartphone does an excellent job of transferring data and downloading it. For this, the LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11n standards are used. Also included in the device is the 'blue tooth' of the fifth version, designed mainly for synchronization with smart watches and sound transmission to an audio device. Even more, someone will appreciate the presence of NFC here. Nothing bad can be said about the cameras – the rear one is double, it can shoot 4K video, and the front one shoots quite well even at 8-megapixel resolution and one lens.

Of course, most of all readers are interested in the battery. Unfortunately, the battery is not incredibly large. 5000 mAh is, of course, not a standard, but also not an exorbitant parameter. Of course, there is support for fast charging – without it, the process would take four to five hours, which is unacceptable. Micro-USB is used as a connector – not everyone will like it, but it cannot be called a serious drawback.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • There is an NFC chip;
  • Built-in powerful processor;
  • Large amount of memory;
  • A separate microSD slot is used;
  • There is support for Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE;
  • Good rear camera
  • There is an FM radio;
  • Decent front camera
  • A fresh version of the operating system is installed;
  • The display is based on IPS technology;
  • Weight does not exceed 180 g.

disadvantages

  • Installed micro-USB connector;
  • Not the fastest Wi-Fi.

The best smartphones with a powerful battery in the premium segment

AGM X2 128GB

Rating: 4.9

AGM X2 128GB

One of the few devices that is supplemented with several additional sensors. And if not everyone needs VOC, then it is useful to know about the temperature around and relative humidity. By the way, the smartphone is shock and water resistant. The device can withstand even a short submersion under water – partly because of this, its cost reaches 40 thousand rubles.

AGM X2 – this is one of those rare representatives of our rating, which has received at its disposal AMOLED – the screen. Such a display is highly energy efficient, and blacks on it are exactly black. The diagonal of the screen is 5.5 inches, and the resolution is 1920×1080 pixels. Above it you can see a fairly large lens of the front camera. It includes a 16-megapixel sensor, so it is difficult to find fault with the quality of selfies. If we talk about the rear camera, then it is double here. At the same time, both sensors have a resolution of 12 megapixels, which should provide almost perfect portrait photos.

The body of this model is made partly from metal, partly from plastic. The rear panel houses a fingerprint scanner – it would be strange if such an expensive smartphone could do without it. Well, somewhere under the body there is a battery, the capacity of which has been brought to 6000 mAh. There is support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, so the recharging process does not take the longest time. But the connector used for this is unpleasantly surprising – it's an outdated micro-USB.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 652 processor and the Adreno 510 graphics accelerator. These are not top-end solutions, but they cope with their tasks almost perfectly. There are also 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. The volume of the latter can be doubled if you buy an appropriate microSD card. For Internet access, LTE modem and Wi-Fi are used. There is also an NFC chip, so a smartphone can replace a bank card. But there is no FM radio here. But hardly anyone will be seriously worried about this.

Advantages

  • Excellent AMOLED – display;
  • There is NFC;
  • There is support for LTE networks;
  • Implemented water protection (IP68 standard);
  • Great rear camera
  • Good front camera
  • A powerful processor is used;
  • Very large amount of memory;
  • Capacious battery with fast charging support;
  • There are many additional sensors available;
  • Includes a float cover;
  • Fingerprint scanner not forgotten.

disadvantages

  • Weight will not suit everyone;
  • Very high cost;
  • Built-in micro-USB connector.

Huawei P20 Pro

Rating: 4.8

Huawei P20 Pro

Usually the Chinese company Huawei builds a standard battery in its flagship smartphones. But there are also exceptions to this rule. For example, Huawei P20 Pro got into our rating – this model includes a 4000 mAh battery. It may seem to you that this is not much. But for a flagship with AMOLED – the screen is quite enough for two days of battery life, unless you get carried away with games.

Note that the display installed here has a distinctive cutout. In this regard, the device hardly differs from iPhone X, only there is no overly smart electronics dealing with face recognition – instead, a front camera, an earpiece and various sensors are located in the cutout. The screen measures 6.1 inches and has an 18.5: 9 aspect ratio that clearly hints at who made it. The 2240×1080 pixels resolution contributes to a comfortable viewing of photos and videos, as the user will have no problems with the simultaneous launch of two applications. In a word, it is impossible to find fault with the display. It should be noted that AMOLED – the screen can display ideal black colors, so in the dark the cutout will definitely not interfere – you simply will not see it.

The smartphone is operated under Android 8.1. The case here is waterproof and complies with the IP67 standard. On its front panel there was a place not only for the display, but also for the front camera. And here you can talk about cameras only in enthusiastic tones. Even a seemingly not very important front camera received a 24-megapixel resolution! Well, the main camera here is generally triple. The resolution of its matrices is 40, 20 and 8 megapixels. With the help of such a camera, you can use 3x optical zoom – nothing like this is provided by any of the other smartphones in our rating.

Of course, you want to send the resulting photos to the social network as soon as possible. There are no problems with this here – the device supports all high-speed standards. You can pay with your smartphone – the NFC chip is responsible for this function. As a processor, it uses its own top-end solution – Kirin 970. This is the rare case when you do not have to lower the graphics settings in any of the existing games. The product also received 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. There is no microSD slot, so it is recommended to regularly upload 4K videos to an external hard drive or somewhere in the 'cloud'.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • Excellent triple camera;
  • A USB Type-C connector is used;
  • Very large amount of memory;
  • Built-in top processor;
  • Gorgeous front camera;
  • There is water protection;
  • High speed wireless standards are supported;
  • There is an NFC chip;
  • Three colors to choose from (including 'overflow');
  • A fresh version of the OS is installed.

disadvantages

  • No memory card slot;
  • No 3.5mm audio jack;
  • Very high cost.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB

This is the smartphone that you don't need to talk about for any length of time. A huge number of people already know about the South Korean flagship. This unit has a frameless design and can be controlled by a smart stylus. By the way, the new generation accessory is equipped with a miniature battery, thanks to which it supports control of certain functions from a distance. For example, using the stylus, you can now remotely press the shutter button. This opens up new possibilities for selfie lovers, for the implementation of which previously it was necessary to buy a separate remote.

Installed here 6.4-inch AMOLED – the display is capable of boasting a resolution of 2960×1440 pixels. The aspect ratio is, of course, 18.5: 9. Above the screen, there is a place for an 8-megapixel camera with wide-angle optics. But the camera that is located on the rear panel, above the fingerprint scanner, is much more pleasing. It is double, while both matrices have 12-megapixel resolution. The focal length of the lenses is different, which gives the user 2x optical zoom. There is also optical stabilization, which does an excellent job with its task. The buyer should also appreciate the camera for its ability to record 4K video with a resolution of 60 frames / s.

With the rest of the characteristics here, too, everything is in order. That's why he and the South Korean flagship, to please absolutely everyone. Vivo Nex 6 / 128GB

Rating: 4.7

Vivo Nex 6 / 128GB

Our rating could not do without a supposedly completely frameless smartphone. Why 'allegedly'? The fact is that the area under the display still remains – the manufacturer has placed several sensors here. Looking at the front panel of the device, you might think that the product lacks a front camera. But in fact, if necessary, it literally leaves the case. Once something similar was implemented in its products by Nokia, but it was many years ago. The main distinguishing feature of the device is the fingerprint scanner. The thing is, it's embedded right into the LCD! Everyone knows that the easiest way is to put your finger on the front side of the device, and not look for a pad on the back panel. But if there is no place for the corresponding scanner in the front, then what to do? That's right, embed it right into the screen. This is not to say that this solution works perfectly, but in most cases the fingerprint is still recognized.

I am glad that the display was created using technology AMOLED. With a 4000 mAh battery, this leads to one and a half to two days of battery life. The screen resolution is 2316×1080 pixels. We can say that the height is extremely stretched here – the display corresponds to the aspect ratio of 19: 9. The screen diagonal is 6.59 inches.

Otherwise, this is a typical smartphone belonging to the top price segment. There are high-speed wireless modules here, even Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The work of all components is provided by the eight-core Snapdragon 710 processor.With it you can not be afraid that some games will ask you to lower the graphics level. The product also received 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. There is no memory card slot here. Like the NFC chip.

There is a dual camera on the back of the smartphone. Its main module has an aperture of f / 1.8, a 12-megapixel sensor and optical stabilization. As for the auxiliary module, it works with a 5 megapixel sensor. The front camera here is 8-megapixel.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint scanner;
  • There is a USB Type-C connector;
  • Wi-Fi 802.11ac and LTE networks are supported;
  • Very powerful processor;
  • Large amount of memory;
  • Good rear camera
  • Decent front camera
  • Used AMOLED – display;
  • The latest version of the operating system is installed.

disadvantages

  • There is no memory card slot;
  • The fingerprint scanner isn't perfect;
  • There is no NFC;
  • Protective accessories are almost impossible to find.

Xiaomi Black Shark 8 / 128GB

Rating: 4.7

Xiaomi Black Shark 8 / 128GB

The most unusual smartphone released by the company Xiaomi. Most of all, the device looks like some kind of expensive accessory for a gamer. However, he is. The cost of a smartphone reaches 38 thousand rubles, in connection with which one does not dare call it cheap. Well, powerful components allow you to use your smartphone for games. Rest assured, the Snapdragon 845 processor and the Adreno 630 graphics accelerator will not let you think about lowering the graphics level!

The 6-inch display installed here has an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. It was created using IPS technology, which led to maximum viewing angles. The screen pleases with a quick response, which is especially important in the same games. The operating system is Android 8.0. Access to it is provided after scanning the fingerprint. Interaction with the global web is carried out through high-speed wireless modules. The device also includes support Bluetooth. Against this background, the lack of NFC is surprising. How could the Chinese manage without it when creating such an expensive smartphone?

Of course, the device for a gamer should do an excellent job with photo and video shooting. For this purpose, a dual camera is intended here, under the main lens of which an aperture of f / 1.75 is located. The matrix resolution is 20 and 12 megapixels. In short, Xiaomi Black Shark is a good device for shooting 4K video, albeit only at 30 frames / s. Nothing bad can be said about the front camera, which delights with f / 2.2 aperture and 20-megapixel resolution.

The body of this model was made of metal. At the same time, the product turned out to be not too heavy – with a 4000 mAh battery, it was possible to achieve 190 grams. The charger is connected here via the USB Type-C connector. Charging doesn't take too long, thanks to the Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Advantages

  • Built-in top processor;
  • There is a fingerprint scanner on the front;
  • Yes Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX codec support;
  • A fresh version of the OS is installed;
  • 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory;
  • There is support for high-speed wireless networks;
  • Wonderful rear camera that is dual and fast;
  • Great front camera
  • A high-quality IPS display is used;
  • Memorable design.

disadvantages

  • There is no NFC;
  • Very high cost;
  • No memory card slot.

The best rugged smartphones with a powerful battery

Conquest S8

Rating: 4.9

Conquest S8

Almost no rugged smartphone is complete without a capacious battery. Usually such a battery allows you to charge other devices using your smartphone as a power bank. Also, a powerful battery is needed in order for a protected device to withstand a multi-day hike. In a word, this is the kind of battery that Conquest S8 has. Here, its capacity reaches 6000 mAh. This is enough for 22 hours of talk time. Or for about two or three days with moderate use.

The product has received a large number of rubber pads. They are all yellow. This makes it easy to spot a dropped device in snow or grass. The apparatus is also obliged to survive submersion under water. It should be noted that this device was presented many years ago, in connection with which some of its characteristics have become obsolete. For example, not everyone will be happy with a 5-inch display with only HD resolution. Although pixelation is not visible on it, so don't worry too much. But the quad-core processor MediaTek MT6735 is a serious drawback. It runs at 1.3GHz, which is lacking in many games and even some heavy applications. The gadget also received 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. This volume is also minimal by modern standards. Fortunately, the device allows you to use a memory card (up to 128 GB).

The Conquest S8 boasts several useful sensors. In particular, the device received a barometer and a digital compass. However, someone would consider the fingerprint scanner more important, which, unfortunately, is not here. But there is an NFC chip, which allows you to replace a bank card with this smartphone. There is also an infrared transmitter that allows you to change channels on the nearest TV. Of course, they are supported by the smartphone and LTE-networks, which ensures quick uploading of pictures to the social network.

However, the cameras installed here are another serious drawback of the gadget. The rear 13-megapixel module shoots average, nothing more. It is unlikely that you will be delighted with the quality of the resulting photos, and it is generally better not to remember about shooting a video. Well, the 5-megapixel front camera will be used mainly for video calls.

Finally, it should be noted that there is an FM radio here. However, the device has one more feature, which is far from immediately recollected. Conquest S8 is not only a smartphone, but also a walkie-talkie. If you screw the corresponding antenna included in the kit to it, you will get a full-fledged radio with a power of 1 Watt. It seems that such radios may well be useful to hunters and fishermen.

Advantages

  • There is a digital compass and barometer;
  • Built-in full-fledged radio;
  • Real water protection implemented;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • There is an NFC chip and an IRDA;
  • LTE networks are supported;
  • The display is made using IPS technology.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Long enough charging time;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • Low memory;
  • A simple processor is built in;
  • I would like a higher screen resolution;
  • Weight is 308g;
  • An old version is installed Android.

Runbo f1 plus

Rating: 4.8

Runbo f1 plus

When it comes to rugged smartphones, several manufacturers of such devices come to mind. In particular, some decent devices are produced by Runbo. The model called F1 Plus got into our rating due to both technical characteristics and a good level of protection. The smartphone has a large number of rubber pads to cushion all kinds of shocks. The presence of yellow inserts allows you to quickly see the device in snow, grass or water. It is difficult to drown a device – to do this, you need to leave it under water for more than half an hour, or sink to a greater depth.

The smartphone is operated under Android 7.0. Autonomous work is provided by a 5000 mAh battery. I am glad to have support for fast charging technology – this process promises to be short-lived. Alas, there is no fingerprint sensor here. Do you want to protect your personal data? Select unlock by pattern or PIN in the settings. There is also no NFC chip that would allow the device to replace a bank card. There is no walkie-talkie either – instead of it, the Push-To-Talk function is built in, which implies the use of completely identical smartphones for negotiations. And this function does not work at the greatest distance.

However, the device consists not only of shortcomings. He has at his disposal a very powerful processor MediaTek Helio P20, most games have enough power of this quad-core chipset. The gadget also includes 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. The volume of the latter can be increased using a microSD card. Internet access is provided by a high-speed LTE modem. There is also Wi-Fi, but it is limited by the 802.11n standard, which may seem insufficient to some. As for the rear camera, it consists of a single lens, under which is a 16-megapixel matrix. The quality of the pictures is of good quality; it will definitely please you in field conditions. Well, outside of hiking it is extremely difficult to use such a device due to its 313-gram weight.

Advantages

  • A good 5.5-inch IPS display is used;
  • Shockproof and waterproof case (IP68 standard);
  • Decent rear camera
  • There is an FM radio;
  • There is a Push-To-Talk function;
  • 4G networks are supported;
  • Built-in powerful processor;
  • Capacious battery with fast charging support;
  • Large amount of memory.

disadvantages

  • Very heavy weight;
  • Unpretentious front camera;
  • No NFC;
  • There is no fingerprint scanner;
  • Non-standard charger connector.

OUKITEL WP5000

Rating: 4.7

OUKITEL WP5000

By the name of this smartphone, it is easy to understand what the capacity of the battery used here is. However, the 5000 mAh battery is just one of the advantages of the device. It pleases much more with its elegant, protected case. On the back of the device you can find a metal plate, thanks to which this model immediately remains in memory. There are also small colored inserts – the same stripes are found on the sides of the display. Interestingly, smartphones with three color options for these inserts are on sale. The cost of the gadget cannot but rejoice – it cannot be called prohibitive. However, the price tag suggests that the manufacturer has saved on something. In this case, it is the display. With a 5.7-inch diagonal, its resolution is only 1440×720 pixels. The pixel density does not exceed 282 dots per inch, which not everyone will like. But the aspect ratio of 18: 9 is interesting, such a screen is still quite rare in protected smartphones. The fact that the display was created using technology AMOLED is also encouraging. This made it not only colorful but also energy efficient.

Among the advantages of the smartphone, you can also add the USB Type-C connector, the wire into which is inserted the first time. But for some reason the manufacturer refused from the 3.5 mm audio jack – you will have to use an adapter. At almost 14mm thickness, this seems very strange. However, it's time to switch to wireless technologies, transmitting sound via Bluetooth 4.2.

This smartphone is able to please with a dual camera. It uses matrices with a resolution of 16 and 5 megapixels. This is not to say that portrait shots are perfect, but the buyer should not complain either. Nothing bad can be said about the 8MP front camera. An eight-core MediaTek Helio P25 is used as a processor. This is the best option among mid-budget chipsets. It allows you to enjoy perfect graphics in the vast majority of games. Also, the product received 64 GB of permanent and 6 GB of internal memory. If you're ready to ditch the second SIM, you can use a microSD card.

Perhaps, OUKITEL WP5000 can be safely recommended for purchase. This is an excellent device with support for fast charging technology and has a fingerprint scanner. Its weak point is only the LCD display, and even then only with some reservations.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • A USB Type-C connector is used;
  • Capacious battery with fast charging support;
  • Large amount of memory;
  • Powerful processor;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • Decent front camera
  • Good rear camera
  • The screen was created using technology AMOLED;
  • Nice design;
  • Water protection is implemented.

disadvantages

  • No 3.5mm audio jack;
  • There is no NFC chip;
  • Low display resolution;
  • Weight is 276 g.

Best push-button phones with powerful battery

teXet TM-D328

Rating: 4.8

teXet TM-D328

Whatever one may say, but not every person wants to get smart functionality from a mobile device. Many people need such a device only for making calls and working with SMS messages. At the same time, they would not refuse the device to function from a full charge for almost a week. Such people are obliged to look towards push-button telephones. Our rating includes two such devices, one of which is teXet TM-D328. This is an outwardly familiar candy bar with a traditional keyboard. Certain interest is only aroused by its back cover, the plastic of which is textured under the skin and even supplemented with artificial stitching, as if it was stitched. The mobile phone is, of course, dual-SIM. It is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. Alas, there is no support for fast charging technology, so the process takes almost an entire night. As the connector is used, as you might guess, micro-USB. The progressive USB Type-C port does not yet look into push-button phones.

It is surprising that with such a powerful battery the device weighs only 164 g. However, there are simply no heavy components here. At least something weighs only the internal antennas and a pair of speakers. The display, which has a diagonal of 2.8 inches and a resolution of 240×320 pixels, also has some weight. The rest of the components are fluffs. Well, can a few megabytes of permanent memory weigh anything? Or is Bluetooth a module? Or a 3.5mm audio jack? Or even an LED flash designed to act as a flashlight?

In theory, the phone can connect to the Internet, which is indicated by the GPRS support. But in reality, this opportunity will not be used by anyone – and the speed is not the same, and there are almost no WAP sites now. It is unlikely that someone will use the rear camera for its intended purpose, the resolution of which is 0.3 megapixels. Perhaps much more useful seems to be FM radio. And the slot for a memory card can be useful if you want to use your mobile phone as an MP3 player.

This is where the story about the phone ends. This is the case when it’s impossible to talk about the device for a long time – we have a simple “dialer” that differs from competitors only in long battery life.

Advantages

  • High resolution LCD display;
  • You can insert two SIM cards;
  • Memory card supported;
  • FM radio available;
  • There is a flashlight;
  • Long battery life;
  • Back cover pleasant to the touch;
  • Low price.

disadvantages

  • Poor conversational speaker;
  • Incomplete firmware;
  • The screen is difficult to see in sunlight.

SENSEIT L208

Rating: 4.7

SENSEIT L208

Another familiar push-button phone in our rating. It has about the same price tag, and therefore the technical characteristics of the buyer are almost the same. For example, the display resolution here is 240×320 pixels. Only the diagonal differs – here it is 2.4-inch, and therefore the pixel density is slightly higher. The built-in memory is also very small, which is why you need a microSD card to listen to MP3 music. By the way, the maximum supported drive is 16 GB. There are all the same two slots for SIM-cards here.

However, the device still differs from the model considered above. Firstly, a slightly less capacious battery is used here – only 4000 mAh. Secondly, the weight of the device, oddly enough, is much lower – only 120 g.

Otherwise, this is a typical 'button'. There is an FM radio here, and either a 3.5mm audio jack or Bluetooth is used to connect a headset. There is no access to the global web here, and it is not needed. A traditional micro-USB connector is used to charge the battery. Interestingly, the manufacturer decided to completely abandon the camera, but left the flash – it is used as a flashlight.

Advantages

  • Decent LCD display
  • No unnecessary camera;
  • Long battery life;
  • Minimum weight;
  • You can insert two SIM cards;
  • There is a flashlight;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • Can be used as a power bank;
  • Low cost.

disadvantages

  • Not the best firmware;
  • Long keyboard unlocking;
  • Low memory for SMS messages;
  • Missing T9.

Conclusion

This is a list of the best devices with a large battery. If you want to get a device that can function without connecting to a network adapter for at least two days, then remember our rating – you need to choose one of the models described in it. All considered gadgets are freely sold in Russian retail, and they can also be ordered in Chinese online stores.
