Xiaomi Redmi 4A 16GB

Rating: 4.9

Xiaomi Redmi 4A 16GB

Our rating opens with a product released by a Chinese company Xiaomi. Once upon a time, it was she who produced the cheapest smartphones. Now she has moved to the mid-budget segment. Nevertheless, in stores you can still find several models, the price tag of which does not exceed 6000-7000 rubles. Redmi 4A is just such a device. It is built around the low-cost Snapdragon 425 processor, which has four cores. The Adreno 308 video accelerator will definitely allow you to run modern games, albeit with a greatly reduced level of graphics. Also under the body of the device are 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. It is the minimum by modern standards volume of built-in storage that is the main drawback of this model – even the slot for the microSD card does not save, because many applications will not want to be installed on an external drive.

Despite the low cost, the device received a gyroscope. However, you are unlikely to use its capabilities in a virtual reality helmet – the low resolution of the display, which is 1280×720 pixels, affects. I am glad that the screen was created using IPS technology – this means that the buyer will have maximum viewing angles and pleasant color reproduction. The diagonal of the display does not exceed 5 inches. This made the device very compact. And lightweight – its weight is only 131 g.

Products Xiaomi are rarely updated to the latest version of the operating system, unless we are talking about flagships. Here, too, the buyer will have to use Android 6.0. Nevertheless, many features of this OS are quite enough – this is confirmed by positive reviews. Also, a rare person complains about the rear camera. Yes, the 13-megapixel module with an aperture of f / 2.2 lacks stars from the sky, but the resulting photographs cannot be called bad either. Perhaps it's silly to expect something more from a smartphone for 6,000 rubles. By the way, with this camera you can even shoot a good video – the picture will be recorded in 1080p resolution. But the 'front-end' should be used only for video communication in certain applications – the larger 5-megapixel module is not designed.

In a word, Xiaomi Redmi 4A is recommended by us for purchase, especially at all kinds of sales. But remember that this device does not have a fingerprint scanner. This means that your personal information will either not be protected from prying eyes at all, or you will have to choose to unlock using a pattern or PIN.

Advantages

  • Hall sensor, digital compass and gyroscope are available;
  • Not the worst processor;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • There is an infrared transmitter;
  • Relatively good rear camera
  • The screen is created using IPS technology;
  • Compact size and light weight.

disadvantages

  • No fingerprint sensor;
  • Display resolution is not very high;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Very small amount of persistent memory;
  • Not the best front camera.

Huawei Y5 2017

Rating: 4.8

Huawei Y5 2017

A good budget smartphone up to 6,000 rubles is also available in the company's assortment Huawei. Her Y5 2017 is also sold for about 6,000 rubles. In some parameters this device is worse than the competitor discussed above, and in others it even slightly surpasses it. The rear camera is a prime example of this. Its resolution is only 8 megapixels. Few? Yes, but it uses f / 2.0 aperture. Therefore, the matrix will receive a large amount of light, and this leads to a higher quality of photography. There is a dual LED flash under the lens – it helps even more in the dark. There is also a flash on the front panel, where the 5MP front camera is located.

Of course, you shouldn't expect powerful components in such an inexpensive smartphone. This representative of our rating works with MediaTek MT6737T, four cores of which work at a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. In games, the Mali-T720 MP2 video accelerator is activated, missing the stars from the sky. The low power of the above components is evidenced by the fact that in AnTuTu the device is gaining only 27 thousand points. 16 GB of permanent memory is also a strong limitation. Nevertheless, no one bothers to use this device as a regular 'dialer'. In this case, you are unlikely to complain about 2 GB of RAM and HD-resolution display. Moreover, you will even be glad that the screen is created with IPS technology – this provides maximum viewing angles and good display behavior on a clear summer day.

Please note that there are several versions Huawei of Y5 2017 – they differ from each other in the presence and absence of LTE support. For the rest, the buyer is required to have an operating system Android 6.0. It should be noted that the device turned out to be compact, and its weight is only 150 g. It could have become even lighter, but the manufacturer decided to equip the device with a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. There are no special sensors in this device – neither a gyroscope, nor a fingerprint scanner. However, there is a proximity sensor and a digital compass. A micro-USB connector is used to connect the charger.

Advantages

  • There's even a flash on the front panel;
  • Compact size and light weight;
  • The display pleases with the maximum viewing angles;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • Not the worst rear camera;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • A capacious battery is used;
  • Nice work of the GPS chip.

disadvantages

  • Not the most recent version of the operating system;
  • Unpretentious front camera;
  • Screen resolution is not very high;
  • Not much memory;
  • A micro-USB connector is being used.

Meizu M5c 16GB

Rating: 4.7

Meizu M5c 16GB

The company Meizu is familiar to many visitors to Chinese online stores. Its products pleases with both their price tag and balanced characteristics. For example, it is difficult to make serious complaints about Meizu M5c. This is a natural “fluff”, the weight of which does not exceed 135 g. As you might guess, such a light device could not get a huge LCD display. Indeed, the diagonal of the screen installed here does not exceed 5 inches. The resolution of such a display is 1280×720 pixels. It seems that it is a little. But with such a diagonal, this does not lead to pixelation, and it is stupid to demand something more from such an inexpensive device. I am glad that IPS technology was used to create the screen. This means that there are no problems with viewing angles.

Android 7.0 is used as the operating system here. Command processing is the responsibility of the MT6737 quad-core chipset MediaTek. It is a very modest processor running at 1.3 GHz. It's better to forget about heavy games, but applications function without any freezes. It is possible that the low resolution of the display and 2 GB of RAM affect. Even under the body of the smartphone, 16 GB of built-in storage is hidden. This volume cannot be called large, so instead of the second SIM-card it is recommended to use a microSD card.

Cheap smartphones rarely get a high quality camera. Here, too, it consists of both advantages and disadvantages. For example, an aperture of f / 2.0 can be added to the number of pluses. The flash, brightly illuminating the nearest object, should also please. But the resolution will not suit everyone – it is 8 megapixels. However, the end result is photos that are perfect for posting to Instagram. Poor quality images become noticeable only when viewed on a computer. As for the front camera, it has a 5MP resolution.

To access the Internet, a smartphone uses LTE networks. The device also includes a Wi-Fi 802.11n module. To connect a wireless headset or speaker, use Bluetooth 4.1. Alas, there is no NFC here – you won't be able to use the device as a bank card. However, cheap smartphones rarely get such a chip, so we won't even list this fact as a disadvantage.

In a word, Meizu M5c is a typical inexpensive gadget with a number of simplifications. In particular, there is no fingerprint scanner here. But on the other hand, it has a good GPS chip, supplemented by a digital compass. Well, the main advantage of the device is a wide variety of colors – there are as many as five options available to the buyer, among which you can even find a smartphone with a pink body.

Advantages

  • Five color options;
  • Compact size and minimum weight;
  • The display is based on IPS technology;
  • Optimal amount of RAM;
  • Relatively good rear camera
  • There is support for LTE;
  • Good navigation chip;
  • The battery capacity has been increased to 3000 mAh.

disadvantages

  • Low display resolution;
  • Very modest processor;
  • Little permanent memory;
  • Not the best front camera
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • A micro-USB connector is being used.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime SM-G532F

Rating: 4.7

Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime SM-G532F

Several budget smartphones are also present in the range of the South Korean company Samsung. In particular, the Galaxy J2 Prime can attract the attention of the buyer. The cost of this device varies from 6,000 to 7,000 rubles. Unfortunately, such a price tag did not allow the South Koreans to introduce a AMOLED screen into their creation, instead a PLS-panel is used here. It's sad to admit it, but the Galaxy J2 Prime is almost the only member of our ranking that does not have the best viewing angles. And the resolution of the 5-inch display is only 960×540 pixels. By modern standards, this is no good. However, the screen is the only serious drawback of this model. If you are ready to put up with it, then the rest of the characteristics should please you.

Above the display is a 5-megapixel camera lens. There are not enough stars from the sky 'front camera', but the resulting pictures cannot be called absolutely bad either. And for video communication, it is generally ideal! If we talk about the rear camera, then it has a resolution of 8 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.2. Honestly, some cheap smartphones are getting worse cameras.

It's nice that the manufacturer hasn't forgotten about the FM radio. Sometimes it helps to listen to music. The fact is that the amount of built-in memory here does not exceed 8 GB, and only 3 GB are available to the user. It is clear that you should not save music to the built-in storage. Not everyone will risk using a memory card – installing it implies refusal to use a second SIM card. So you have to listen to music on the radio. However, there is another option – you can use all kinds of online services. In this case, the music will be loaded almost instantly, for which the LTE and Wi-Fi modules should be thanked. By the way, the sound here is transmitted to the wireless headset without any problems – the standard Bluetooth 4.2 is used for this. The device also contains a navigation chip that supports not only GPS, but also GLONASS. However, it does not have a digital compass, which is a bit frustrating.

As you might guess, the device is powered by a simple quad-core processor. Android 6.0 is installed as the operating system.

Well, is it possible to find fault with something else? Perhaps the battery. Its capacity does not exceed 2600 mAh. The charger is connected, of course, via the micro-USB port. You can also regret the lack of a fingerprint scanner. But these are not the biggest problems – the owners of budget smartphones have long been accustomed to putting up with them.

Advantages

  • There is an FM radio;
  • Supports the installation of two SIM-cards;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • Good navigation chip;
  • Present in many stores;
  • Three color options.

disadvantages

  • Weight reaches 160g;
  • Bad screen;
  • Weak processor by modern standards;
  • Micro-USB connector used;
  • Very little memory;
  • Not the most capacious battery
  • No light sensor or fingerprint scanner.

BQ BQ – 5059 Strike Power

Rating: 4.6

BQ BQ - 5059 Strike Power

Formally, this smartphone is produced by a Russian company. But like all other representatives of our rating, they collect it in Chinese factories. Nevertheless, it should be noted that in our country this model is very cheap – only about 5500 rubles. Outwardly, this device is nothing unusual. A conventional device with rounded corners and a relatively small 5-inch LCD display. Screen resolution – 1280×720 pixels. Pixelation can only be discerned under a magnifying glass, which is good news. But even more delightful is the fact that the display was created using IPS technology. This is the rare case when the screen of a very inexpensive smartphone is capable of boasting maximum viewing angles!

The rear camera can also seem to be of high quality. And how can other thoughts come to mind when you find out about its 13-megapixel resolution? However, practice shows that the images lack detail – it seems that in fact the module's resolution is noticeably lower. However, this smartphone still wins against many competitors with a similar price tag. As for the front camera, its resolution is 8 megapixels.

If you connect wired headphones to the device, you can activate the FM radio. But if you want to listen to music, then it's easier to put it on a memory card. The maximum operating system Android 7.0 is capable of recognizing a 64 GB drive.

The smartphone is built around a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6580. This is a weak chipset, the clock speed of which does not exceed 1300 MHz. Nothing good can be said about the amount of permanent memory, which is 8 GB. Well, what did you expect from the device, primarily intended to play the role of a 'dialer'?

Perhaps the main advantage of this model is the battery. Its capacity is, scary to think, 5000 mAh! There is no doubt that a full charge will be enough for a couple of days of battery life, if not even three.

Complete with a smartphone, the buyer will get a charger, cable and even headphones. At the same time, on store shelves, you can find devices with different body colors – from traditional black to bright yellow. The device weighs 177 g – this is quite normal for a gadget with such a battery. There is no fingerprint scanner here, as you might guess. Afraid of losing your smartphone if you share your personal photos with someone else? Then choose unlocking using a pattern or PIN in the settings.

Advantages

  • The screen was created using IPS technology;
  • Five color options;
  • Decent rear camera
  • Compact dimensions;
  • Decent front-end for such a cost;
  • There is an FM radio;
  • Capacious battery;
  • Low cost.

disadvantages

  • Large weight;
  • There is no LTE support;
  • Weak processor;
  • Built-in micro-USB connector;
  • Only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of permanent memory;
  • There is no fingerprint sensor.

VERTEX Impress Nero

Rating: 4.5

VERTEX Impress Nero

Another ultra-budget smartphone in our ranking. It can easily be bought in small cell phone stores, spending about 6000 rubles on it. For this money, you will get a good two-SIM device running under the operating system Android 7.0. Its body is made of plastic and metal. The front panel of the device houses a 5.5-inch display. For its manufacture, IPS technology was used, so you cannot find fault with the viewing angles. But it is quite possible to complain about the low resolution, because here it is 1280×640 pixels. And it's completely incomprehensible why the manufacturer decided to switch to an aspect ratio of 18: 9. It would seem that usually an elongated screen is used to simultaneously work with two applications. But the processor MediaTek MT6737 is not designed for this case – because of it, the system will slow down a lot if you start solving two problems at the same time.

The rear panel of the smartphone houses a 13-megapixel camera lens. In terms of image quality, it is quite inferior to more expensive devices from, for example, Samsung. But you can't call the photos completely lousy either. Well, above the screen you can see a much more modest lens – the resolution of this camera is 5 megapixels.

The VERTEX Impress Nero smartphone weighs about 188 g. This weight is explained by the battery capacity reaching 3300 mAh. The charger is connected via micro-USB – there are no pleasant surprises in this regard. But the amount of memory can please. 2 GB of RAM is quite normal, especially for such an inexpensive device. And 16 GB of ROM doesn't look like a serious drawback either. There is also a slot for a microSD card. The maximum supported drive is 32 GB. It is on the memory card that you can transfer music, photos and other heavy files.

I am glad that the connection is also in order here. The gadget received support for LTE-A of the fourth category. Internet access is also possible via Wi-Fi 802.11n. Present here and Bluetooth 4.0, through which the sound is transmitted to wireless speakers and headsets. However, you can also connect headphones in the usual way – by inserting them into a 3.5 mm audio jack. In this case, you will also get the opportunity to activate the FM radio.

Perhaps this is one of the best representatives of our rating. Yes, there is no fingerprint scanner here. But what inexpensive smartphone does it have? If the device had a higher resolution screen, it would be a real hit!

Advantages

  • Decent rear camera
  • There is an FM radio;
  • There is support for 4G networks;
  • A capacious battery is used;
  • The display is based on IPS technology;
  • Decent amount of memory.

disadvantages

  • Large weight;
  • Weak processor;
  • No fingerprint sensor;
  • The screen has a low resolution;
  • A micro-USB connector is being used.

The best smartphones under 6,000 rubles with a screen diagonal of up to 5.5 inches

Huawei Y5 Prime (2018)

Rating: 4.9

Huawei Y5 Prime (2018)

This smartphone got into our rating, so to speak, conditionally. Its cost still exceeds 6,000 rubles. But there is no doubt that soon the price tag will definitely decrease. Yes, and there are all sorts of bachelor days and other sales, when you can buy this model much cheaper.

So what are the hallmarks of the Huawei Y5 Prime (2018)? First, the functionality is provided by Android 8.1 – a more recent version of the 'green robot' simply does not exist yet. Secondly, the device is released with three color options for its body. Thirdly, the device received an elongated IPS-display. The 18: 9 aspect ratio allows you to interact with two apps at the same time. However, how a weak processor will cope with the task of displaying them is a big question. The screen resolution is 1440×720 pixels, and its diagonal does not exceed 5.45 inches. For every inch of the area of this panel there are 295 pixels, which can be considered an acceptable parameter.

The front camera lens can be seen above the screen. It is mainly intended only for video communication. It is also possible to take selfies with the help of a 5-megapixel module, but the quality of the pictures will be far from ideal. Rear camera resolution is noticeably higher, it reaches 13 megapixels. However, in terms of photo quality, the smartphone is still inferior to much more expensive devices equipped with a camera with seemingly the same resolution. The problem lies in the matrix itself, the aperture and the used optics. However, many people are quite happy with the result of the shooting, so let's not panic.

A photo or video can be uploaded quickly enough. For this, either LTE communication or Wi-Fi of the 802.11n standard is used. It is also possible to connect a wireless headset here. The manufacturer has not forgotten the standard 3.5 mm audio jack, which, as it seems, will be used by the smartphone buyer much more often than Bluetooth.

A simple quad-core MediaTek MT6739 is used as a processor. It does not show anything supernatural, it is better not to run heavy three-dimensional games. The smartphone also includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. It's nice that the manufacturer has provided its creation with a separate slot for a memory card. This means that no one will bother you to increase the storage capacity without getting rid of the second SIM card.

Advantages

  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Weight does not exceed 142 g;
  • There is a separate slot for microSD;
  • Implemented support for LTE;
  • Relatively good navigation capabilities;
  • Decent rear camera
  • The screen was created using IPS technology;
  • A fresh version of the operating system is installed;
  • Three colors to choose from.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • A weak processor is built in;
  • Poor equipment;
  • Not the best front camera.

Meizu M6 16GB

Rating: 4.8

Meizu M6 16GB

One of the smallest smartphones in our ranking. On its front panel is a 5.2-inch screen, while the side edges here turned out to be extremely thin. Many people will be able to reach with their thumb anywhere on the display. At the same time, a screen was created using IPS technology, so the buyer is waiting for the maximum viewing angles. Everything is in order here with the brightness of the backlight – the picture is clearly visible even on a sunny day when you are outdoors. The display resolution is 1280×720 pixels, which with such a diagonal can be considered an acceptable parameter. A 2.5D protective glass is applied over the screen. Please note that it is quite fragile (especially its edges) – do not forget to get a case.

The operating system is busy with image processing Android 7.1. It is assisted by an eight-core processor MediaTek MT6750. And this is important! Such a chipset intelligently distributes the load, and its cores are capable of operating at a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. Perhaps, you can even play on such a smartphone, albeit with reduced graphics settings. The device also has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. In a word, these components are unlikely to be enough for someone. And do not forget that there is a slot for a memory card – as much as possible, the system will detect a 128 GB drive.

Any modern smartphone has a pair of cameras. This model is no exception to the rule. The rear camera here has a 13MP resolution. Only the aperture, opened only up to f / 2.2, lets the user down a little. Interestingly, the aperture of the front camera is opened to a wider value – up to f / 2.0. The resolution hiding inside the matrix is 8 megapixels.

Unlike most of the competitors reviewed in this ranking, the body Meizu of the M6 is made entirely of metal. But the main feature of the device is the presence of a fingerprint scanner – such cheap gadgets are extremely rare. It is also difficult to find fault with the battery – its capacity is 3070 mAh. If there were also a USB Type-C connector … But alas, the buyer is waiting for an obsolete micro-USB. Well, as for wireless modules, the device supports both LTE and Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11n. In short, only NFC is missing.

Advantages

  • An eight-core processor is used;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Four body color options;
  • Weight does not exceed 143 g;
  • The display was created using IPS technology;
  • Decent rear camera
  • Good enough front camera
  • Implemented support for LTE;
  • There is a fingerprint sensor.

disadvantages

  • Screen resolution is not very high;
  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • It's hard to find at a low price.

Alcatel PIXI 4 Plus Power

Rating: 4.7

Alcatel PIXI 4 Plus Power

It must be the only smartphone in our ranking that can be called youth. The fact is that bright atypical white and red colors are used here – this color should definitely please schoolchildren. However, there is also a traditional version Alcatel of the PIXI 4 Plus Power, completely painted in black.

The main feature of the device is its battery. It has a capacity of 5000mAh. A full charge is enough for at least two days of battery life! And if you use a budget gadget exclusively as a 'dialer', you can achieve a longer duration. Just remember that two SIM cards will consume energy much more actively than one.

The display here is an IPS panel with a diagonal of 5.5 inches. The buyer is expected to have good color rendering, high brightness and, most importantly, almost maximum viewing angles. It is a pity that the resolution is small here – not everyone will be satisfied with the modest 720p. But on the other hand, even the quad-core processor MediaTek MT6580 used here can easily process an image with such a parameter. But don't count on running games with good graphics settings – the Mali-400 MP2 video accelerator is not designed for this.

However, this smartphone has serious limitations, and therefore you should forget about heavy games altogether. In particular, only 16 GB of permanent memory are built in here. If you install a large number of applications, then the games will no longer fit. Also, the sadness of the gamer is 1 GB of RAM. But there is a plus in all this, because no parents want their children to spend too much time playing mobile games. By the way, there is also a slot for a memory card. Therefore, music and photos can be stored on an external drive (the maximum operating system Android in this case recognizes a 32 GB card).

Of course, such a cheap smartphone could not fail to receive a number of all kinds of simplifications. In particular, nothing interesting can be said about the cameras used here. The back has only 8-megapixel resolution. But the quality of the pictures does not correspond even to this parameter. If we talk about the front camera, then its resolution is only 2 Mp. Therefore, it can be used only for video communication, and even then only when necessary. Disappointment is also caused by the fact that there is no support for LTE networks – you will have to transmit and receive data only via 3G, or by connecting to Wi-Fi.

Fortunately, this is the list of the most significant simplifications. The manufacturer even added support for fast charging technology here, which with such a battery capacity is good news.

Advantages

  • Several body color options;
  • The screen is created using IPS technology;
  • There is support for Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0;
  • A price tag available to many;
  • Capacious battery with support for fast charging technology.

disadvantages

  • Weight reaches 202 g;
  • Frankly weak cameras;
  • Low display resolution;
  • There is no LTE support;
  • Little RAM;
  • No fingerprint scanner.

DOOGEE X30

Rating: 4.6

DOOGEE X30

Perhaps this is the best creation of the Chinese company DOOGEE in the super-budget segment. The manufacturer even allegedly endowed its smartphone with two dual cameras. But do not be in a hurry to rejoice, many buyers are inclined to believe that the second module in both cases is fake – a light sensor is used instead, which makes the system complain if you covered it with your finger. This is a tricky trick many manufacturers go for when they try to release a very cheap dual camera device.

In fact, for most DOOGEE X30 buyers, the capabilities of one 8-megapixel module are quite enough. The pictures are quite bright, and you don't think about their low detail when published on a social network. Do not just do video shooting – it should be noted that the result will definitely not please you. Especially if you are used to using a more expensive smartphone. Nothing bad can be said about the front camera, which has a resolution of 5 megapixels. It can even be used for taking selfies, and even with video calls, it generally shows itself in the best way.

The front panel of the device houses a 5.5-inch display. However, this does not make the device particularly large. The manufacturer managed to make the side frames thin enough, as a result of which the device does not seem like a shovel. The screen is created using IPS technology, and the brightness of the backlight here is amazing. In short, the picture is clearly visible from any angle, wherever you are. Only a resolution of 1280×720 pixels can confuse someone. But even with it, the pixel density reaches 267 PPI, which is a good result.

Unfortunately, this smartphone is far from ideal. The processor used here MediaTek MT6580 indicates the budget status. Fortunately, the operating system Android and the simplest proprietary shell (many will not even notice it) are quite capable of this chipset. Numerous applications that will be installed by the user also feel great – thanks to 2 GB of RAM for this. Numerous, but not infinite – the amount of onboard storage is limited to 16 GB. Of course, you can insert a microSD card up to 64 GB, but do not forget that not all programs support transfer to an external drive.

The buyer will be somewhat disappointed by the lack of an LTE module. Nevertheless, even over 3G networks, data is downloaded quite quickly. It also has support for Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0. The battery capacity is increased to 3360 mAh. It's a pity that there is no support for fast charging technology, and the power adapter is connected to the micro-USB connector. As you might guess, the product does not have a fingerprint scanner either.

In a word, if you find DOOGEE X30 at a price below 6000 rubles, then you can take it without hesitation! Yes, it has a certain list of shortcomings, but which budget smartphone is capable of boasting ideal characteristics?

Advantages

  • The display is based on IPS technology;
  • Large enough battery capacity;
  • Decent amount of memory;
  • Lite version of the operating system;
  • Nice work of the navigation chip;
  • Comparatively good front-facing camera
  • The smartphone is released in three colors.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • No fingerprint scanner;
  • The processor is not particularly powerful;
  • No LTE support;
  • I would like to get a display with a higher resolution;
  • Weight is 193g.

The best smartphones under 6,000 rubles with a large screen

Alcatel 3C 5026D

Rating: 4.9

Alcatel 3C 5026D

Another smartphone operating under Android 7.0 in our ranking. It also supports the installation of two SIM cards. But what can I say, now it seems that 90% of smartphones sold in the Russian market are dual-SIM. This product also includes a 6-inch LCD display. This makes the device quite large. And massive – the weight reaches an impressive 169 g. The screen was created using IPS technology, so it is impossible to find fault with the viewing angles. But the resolution is a little disappointing – it is 1440×720 pixels. However, if pixelation can be noticed, then only people who regularly use a device with a more advanced screen. It should be noted that this is a rare representative of the budget segment, the display of which has an aspect ratio of 18: 9. Whether the buyer needs it is a big question.

Above the screen is a 5-megapixel front camera lens. Next to it is an LED flash. Therefore, good pictures can be taken even in the dark. Has a flash and a rear camera, the resolution of which is increased to 8 megapixels. Nothing special can be said about it – the quality of the resulting photos can be called average, and it's better not to think about shooting a video at all.

A traditional 3.5 mm audio jack is used to connect headphones. You can also use Bluetooth 4.2, transmitting sound to a wireless headset or speaker. The device also received support for Wi-Fi 802.11n. But you will have to forget about data transfer via LTE – the smartphone understands only 3G networks. For some, this will be critical, while others will not even notice this drawback. But 1 GB of RAM is a significant limitation. At the very least, it affects how many applications you can simultaneously keep open in the background. 16 GB of permanent memory will cause less dissatisfaction with the buyer – for a budget device this is quite a decent amount, which can also be expanded by installing a microSD card. Well, the processor here is a cheap quad-core chipset MediaTek MT8321.

The main advantage of this model is the presence of a fingerprint scanner. I am glad that the manufacturer did not save on this. It remains to add that the battery used here has a capacity of 3000 mAh.

Advantages

  • There is a fingerprint sensor;
  • Optimal amount of permanent memory;
  • There is support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2;
  • Comparatively good front-facing camera
  • Both cameras are equipped with flash;
  • The display was created using IPS technology.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Little RAM;
  • Not the most powerful processor;
  • No LTE support;
  • Low display resolution;
  • Large sizes.

Fly life mega

Rating: 4.8

Fly life mega

One of the cheapest smartphones in our ranking. At least among those with LTE support. Like other devices discussed here, the device is dual-SIM. The operating system is the seventh version Android. It is powered by the simplest quad-core processor MediaTek MT6737H. Also, the gadget includes 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of permanent memory. The volume is clearly insufficient, so you will have to forget about installing a large number of applications. That is, it is better to use Fly Life Mega only as a 'dialer'.

However, the above does not mean that the device is not at all able to solve certain problems. With its help, you can go online by going to a website or launching a messenger. The picture will be displayed on a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. It can be seen from any angle, for which the IPS technology should be thanked. By the way, access to the global web is possible not only with the help of a cellular operator, but also via Wi-Fi. Also, the device can be used as an MP3-player – you just need to stock up on a memory card. However, you can also listen to music online. The 3.5 mm audio jack is supplemented here with support for Bluetooth 4.1 – that is, you can use a wireless headset as well.

Traditionally, one cannot but say a few words about cameras. The rear has a resolution of 8 megapixels, it is supplemented by a flash. With its help, you can write video in resolution Full HD. However, its quality will be far from ideal – the low bit rate affects. Well, it's generally better to forget about the front-facing camera, since its resolution is only 2 megapixels. It remains to add that the lithium-ion battery installed here has a capacity of 2800 mAh. With such a battery, it is rather strange that the device weighs 178 g.

Advantages

  • Low cost;
  • A fairly recent version of the operating system is installed;
  • The screen is created using IPS technology;
  • Not the worst rear camera;
  • There is support for LTE;
  • There are light and proximity sensors.

disadvantages

  • Micro-USB connector is used;
  • Large dimensions and weight;
  • The display resolution is not high;
  • Weak processor;
  • Very little memory;
  • The simplest front camera;
  • Not a very capacious battery.

Irbis SP571

Rating: 4.7

Irbis SP571

It is quite difficult to find Irbis SP571 smartphone in Russian retail chains. But on the other hand, this device is in noticeable demand in Chinese online stores. People like not only its low cost, but also the fresh version of the operating system (here Android 8.1 is used). The software works very smartly – the processor MediaTek MT6739 is present here, for the capabilities of which the fresh version of the 'green robot' is optimized in the best way. The chipset has enough power for traveling on the global web and using all kinds of messengers. At the same time, the owner of the smartphone will enjoy high-speed data transfer even on the street, because there is support for LTE networks. The manufacturer did not forget the Wi-Fi module either. Well, to connect a wireless headset will be used Bluetooth 4.2.

It's nice that 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory are present here – this is not the most flawed volume. There is also a slot for a microSD card. The maximum supported drive is only 32 GB. However, it is difficult to imagine the owner of Irbis SP571, who decides to purchase a more expensive memory card.

The presence of a dual camera here can cause a slight surprise among the buyer. But you understand that its capabilities are identical to a conventional module equipped with only one lens? The second matrix plays a purely auxiliary role here. And there is not much help from her. How could it be otherwise at 0.3-megapixel resolution? As for the main sensor, its resolution is 8 megapixels. Well, if we talk about the front camera, then its resolution does not exceed 2 megapixels, so you are unlikely to actively use it.

Perhaps, it remains to tell only about the LCD. It is made using IPS technology, which is good news. However, the resolution of the 5.7-inch screen will not suit everyone – it is 1440×720 pixels. However, pixelation is difficult to notice, so we have added Irbis SP571 to the list of recommended purchases.

Alas, this 'pipe' can not boast of anything special. You can only single out the FM radio, which the Chinese manufacturer has not forgotten. But it would be better if he endowed his creation with a fingerprint scanner.

Advantages

  • There is support for LTE;
  • Weight does not exceed 155 g;
  • The display was created using IPS technology; Not
  • worst rear camera;
  • Built-in FM radio;
  • Optimal amount of memory;
  • Affordable price tag (in Chinese online stores).

disadvantages

  • No fingerprint sensor;
  • Screen resolution is not very high;
  • Unpretentious front camera;
  • Micro-USB connector used.

Conclusion

Now you know which smartphones with a low price tag are worth paying attention to. Such devices have several disadvantages. But, oddly enough, all the shortcomings do not spoil the impression of the device. And smartphones, the cost of which does not exceed 6,000 rubles, have a relatively good processor and quite a decent amount of memory. That is why they function stably, providing the ability to install additional applications. In a word, they work much better than budget devices that were sold just a few years ago.
