It is the minimum by modern standards volume of built-in storage that is the main drawback of this model – even the slot for the microSD card does not save, because many applications will not want to be installed on an external drive.

For its manufacture, IPS technology was used, so you cannot find fault with the viewing angles. But it is quite possible to complain about the low resolution, because here it is 1280×640 pixels. And it's completely incomprehensible why the manufacturer decided to switch to an aspect ratio of 18: 9. It would seem that usually an elongated screen is used to simultaneously work with two applications. But the processor MediaTek MT6737 is not designed for this case – because of it, the system will slow down a lot if you start solving two problems at the same time.

The rear panel of the smartphone houses a 13-megapixel camera lens. In terms of image quality, it is quite inferior to more expensive devices from, for example, Samsung. So what are the hallmarks of the Huawei Y5 Prime (2018)? First, the functionality is provided by Android 8.1 – a more recent version of the 'green robot' simply does not exist yet. Secondly, the device is released with three color options for its body. Thirdly, the device received an elongated IPS-display. The 18: 9 aspect ratio allows you to interact with two apps at the same time. However, how a weak processor will cope with the task of displaying them is a big question. The screen resolution is 1440×720 pixels, and its diagonal does not exceed 5.45 inches. For every inch of the area of ​​this panel there are 295 pixels, which can be considered an acceptable parameter.

The front camera lens can be seen above the screen. It is mainly intended only for video communication. It is also possible to take selfies with the help of a 5-megapixel module, but the quality of the pictures will be far from ideal. Rear camera resolution is noticeably higher, it reaches 13 megapixels. However, in terms of photo quality, the smartphone is still inferior to much more expensive devices equipped with a camera with seemingly the same resolution. This is a tricky trick many manufacturers go for when they try to release a very cheap dual camera device.

In fact, for most DOOGEE X30 buyers, the capabilities of one 8-megapixel module are quite enough. The pictures are quite bright, and you don't think about their low detail when published on a social network. Do not just do video shooting – it should be noted that the result will definitely not please you. Especially if you are used to using a more expensive smartphone. Nothing bad can be said about the front camera, which has a resolution of 5 megapixels. It can even be used for taking selfies, and even with video calls, it generally shows itself in the best way.

The front panel of the device houses a 5.5-inch display. However, this does not make the device particularly large. The manufacturer managed to make the side frames thin enough, as a result of which the device does not seem like a shovel. The screen is created using IPS technology, and the brightness of the backlight here is amazing. In short, the picture is clearly visible from any angle, wherever you are. Only a resolution of 1280×720 pixels can confuse someone. But even with it, the pixel density reaches 267 PPI, which is a good result.

Unfortunately, this smartphone is far from ideal. The processor used here MediaTek MT6580 indicates the budget status. Fortunately, the operating system Android and the simplest proprietary shell (many will not even notice it) are quite capable of this chipset. Numerous applications that will be installed by the user also feel great – thanks to 2 GB of RAM for this. Numerous, but not infinite – the amount of onboard storage is limited to 16 GB.
