11 best washing machines under 15,000 rubles

Review of the best according to the editorial board. About selection criteria. This material is subjective and does not constitute advertising and does not serve as a purchase guide. Before buying, you need to consult with a specialist.

A washing machine is a thing that can greatly facilitate household chores. But when choosing, you have to take into account a lot: the load volume, and the washing efficiency, and, of course, reliability. This is most important for budget washing machines, which are deliberately simplified by manufacturers – and this can harm the resource. When compiling today's rating, we put special emphasis on energy efficiency: a person with limited funds when choosing a washing machine will pay attention to the figures in the bills for electricity and water. The review is based on the analysis of technical characteristics at https://rankquality.com/washing-machine/.

Washing machines with standard depth

Samsung WF60F1R0F2W

Rating: 4.9

The Samsung Aegis washing machine is interesting for several design features at once. The first is the use of the EcoBubble 'bubble generator', which effectively foams the water at the beginning of the wash cycle, ensuring rapid dissolution of the washing powder: its particles during the washing process will have minimal effect on the fabric, this is important for a 'delicate' wash. The second is the design of the Diamond Drum itself, which is also focused on reducing mechanical impact on the fabric.

At the same time, the car was made economical in every sense. Effective flushing of the tray prevents wet powder residues from accumulating in its corners, which would later have to be cleaned by hand and discarded. Cyclic electricity consumption on a 'standard' program (usually taken to wash cotton fabrics at a temperature of 60 degrees) – 1.02 kW at a maximum load of 6 kg, that is, the power / load ratio is 0.17 – the machine fully fits into the declared energy efficiency class A (for it, the norm is 0.17-0.19).

The installation depth of the washing machine is 45 cm according to the passport, with a real installation you will have to add a few more centimeters to the hoses. In general, this size will allow it to fit well into most apartments, including those with built-in (although the manufacturer does not classify it directly as built-in, independent 'build-in' is not uncommon if the dimensions of the furniture allow).

When planning a lot of things for the day, it makes sense to use the delayed start function incorporated in the design (up to 19 hours): you can load the car in advance and do other things. And not necessarily at home: we did not find any complaints about the reviews on leaks, and the electronics are reliably protected from power surges (Samsung especially emphasizes this in the list of advantages of its washing machine), so you can leave it unattended without risk.

  • Profitability;
  • Moderate noise level;
  • Well adapted to delicate washing.

  • There are few programs, and the spread of parameters between them is large, most are designed for long cycles;
  • Small things can get stuck in the door seal.

Hotpoint-Ariston RSM 601 W

Rating: 4.8

Compared to the Samsung WF60F1R0F2W, this washing machine is more interesting for confined spaces, its depth is slightly shallower (42.5 cm versus 45): sometimes it is these centimeters that are not enough. They are similar in characteristics: Hotpoint-Ariston is also designed for a 6 kg load with the same energy efficiency (0.17 kWh / kg, class A).

The RSM 601 W is especially interesting when you need to wash your wool frequently: the well-structured Wool cycle has been officially approved by the Woolmark for hand wash only. The noise level during washing and especially spinning can be called moderate (62/79 dB), but this was achieved by reducing the maximum spin speed: only 1000 rpm versus 1200 for Samsung, so that washing machine will spin faster and better.

In terms of express washing, Hotpoint-Ariston also lost: if you need to wash some things quickly, then the Quick Wash program will not seem so fast here (30 minutes versus Samsung's 15 minutes).

Finally, two more nuances influenced our arrangement of rating points: washing the tray is definitely better with Samsung (Hotpoint-Ariston will have to wipe the tray from residues), besides, after washing, we will have to remove the water from the seal.

  • Moderate noise and vibration;
  • Delicate wool streak;
  • Energy efficiency corresponds to the declared class;
  • Delicate wash for wool.

  • Low spin speed;
  • The powder tray will have to be cleaned of residues.

Indesit BWSB 50851

Rating: 4.7

INDESIT BWSB 50851.jpg

Structurally, Indesit is extremely simple: there is not even an information display, control is a rotary selector with program numbers and a set of buttons. Of the 14 programs, 5 are 'daily', designed for washing at 30 degrees, the 'fast' of them is only one, and that one for 30 minutes. There are no 'average' programs that could be called universal, that is, you will have to use long ones more often. Или просто нажать кнопку Push&Wash, после чего машина по своим алгоритмам сама рассчитает цикл.

When choosing a car, an unexpected difficulty will arise: even the official website of the company contradicts itself, claiming at the same time about a 6 kg load, but at the same time indicating that the maximum load is 5 kg. Accordingly, there is uncertainty with the energy efficiency class: A or A +? The dimensions of the car are comparable to the Hotpoint-Ariston RSM 601 W.

The noise during operation is moderate, but when switching to spinning it is already high: with the correct installation, the manufacturer promises 61 dB during washing and 81 dB during spinning. The spin itself runs at a maximum of 800 rpm, which delays the process somewhat, but reduces vibrations.

  • Moderate level of noise and vibration during washing;
  • The spin is good considering that the maximum speed is low;
  • Функция Push&Wash позволяет вообще не обращать внимания на настройки.

  • No quick 15 minute wash;
  • No display, the remaining cycle time cannot be determined.

Gorenje W 6222 / S

Rating: 4.6

GORENJE W 6222S.jpg

The 'user interface' is simple: a rotary program selector, a set of buttons. Not everyone's pictograms are clear at first glance. In particular, a free-standing group of three buttons defines the 'wash styles': ECOcare, ALLERGYcare and TIMEcare. In the first case, the cycle is lengthened and less water is used, in the second, on the contrary, the laundry is washed more strongly. TIMEcare mode is an accelerated wash, in which, like in ECOcare, water consumption increases. There is no information display, and at least there is no sound notification of the end of the cycle. It would not hurt: the car came out quite quiet (56/70 dB) and little vibrating, despite the maximum 1200 rpm during spinning. And economical at a high level: energy efficiency class A ++ is declared. The imbalance control of the drum during spinning is provided, which contributes to the reduction of vibrations: even if the owner rashly sets the speed too high, the machine will limit them on its own.

The 34-centimeter hatch is convenient for loading and unloading linen, besides, it leans back fully (180 degrees), without a limiter.

The washing machine is designed with a self-cleaning function (SterilTub), activated by a separate button on the panel. After that, the machine rinses itself dry with water heated to 95 degrees, using a small amount of powder.

A 'child lock' (keypad lock) is provided, which remains active after the end of the cycle or power off – it can only be removed by force.

  • Economical power consumption;
  • Low vibrations;
  • Moderate noise;
  • Self-cleaning mode.

  • Poor 'quick wash' performance, although it takes 30 minutes.

Weissgauff WM 4626 DN

Rating: 4.5

Weissgauff declares a high energy efficiency class: A +++ (for example, in the 'Cotton' cycle at 60 degrees, the energy consumption is only 0.62 kWh), which is interesting with frequent washing – but it is with frequent washing that you quickly realize that the 30-centimeter hatch is too narrow, and the volume of the drum is not the largest (38 l). However, the rest has no complaints about the ergonomics of the machine. The set of programs selected by the rotary selector is convenient: the temperature and spin modes are not stitched into them, they can be programmed at will. There is also an automatic counter of wash cycles – the machine itself reminds you of the need to start a cleaning cycle, quickly activated by a separate button.

The manufacturer was able to achieve moderate noise: 60 dB during washing, 77 dB during spinning. The vibration level is average, and even when the spin speed is set to maximum (1200 rpm). The spin itself is effective, like washing (in both cases, class A is declared).

The tray is washed quite effectively, but it will require cleaning from time to time: this is directly mentioned in the instructions. The tray itself is three-section, the sections are narrow.

  • Temperature setting in all modes;
  • Efficiency of washing and spinning;
  • Moderate noise.

  • The loading hatch is too small.

Indesit BWSB 51051

Rating: 4.4

INDESIT BWSB 51051.jpg

Accordingly, the spin efficiency class became higher – C, not D. But the vibration level is also higher.

A 'short' wash cannot be called effective here: it goes at a low temperature (30 degrees), rather it is essentially a rinse. Since there is no possibility of manually setting the temperature in this mode, you will often have to use the 'long' modes, and this is not always convenient, especially if you need to quickly wash a small volume. At the same time, for example, the 'long' mode 'Cotton, 60 degrees' can take up to 4 hours of time: with class A energy efficiency, the machine will actually use more energy and water than more advanced models like the Samsung WF60F1R0F2W, which can provide the same wash quality faster.

  • 'Интеллектуальный' режим Push&Wash для тех, кто не хочет вникать в настройки режимов вовсе;
  • Decent spin efficiency;
  • Moderate noise during the wash cycle.

  • Low efficiency of the 'short' cycle, despite the consumed half an hour of time;
  • High vibration level.

ATLANT 60У1010

Rating: 4.3

ATLANT 60У1010.jpg

An inexpensive Belarusian washing machine outwardly corresponds to the modern understanding of a front-end: informative names of washing modes around the selector, a sufficient set of indicators, the ability to select temperature and speed. It is possible to switch wash programs to the 'night' mode with a decrease in working speed and turn off the sound indication and spin. You can also add an extra rinse to the cycle.

Energy class – A + with the ability to load up to 6 kg of laundry. Noise during washing is moderate (59 dB), during spinning it is also not the highest in comparison with competing models, similarly operating at speeds up to 1000 rpm: 73 dB.

The installation depth was moderate: 40.7 cm according to the passport, but in reality, due to the design of the rear panel and hoses, it will take about 48. The hatch can be opened without restriction until it stops against the front panel. But the mechanism of its opening itself, where you just need to pull it towards you (there is no button or handle), does not look like a good solution, it is inconvenient to open it. According to frequent reviews, the hatch hinges sag quickly

The manufacturer has provided a convenient way of emergency opening of the hatch, for example, in case of a prolonged power outage when the wash is running. To access the opening rod, just open the filter flap and remove it from the lock.

  • Moderate noise;
  • Low power consumption;
  • Decent washing efficiency.

  • Unsuccessful hatch design;
  • Average reliability according to owner reviews.

Washing machines with shallow installation depth

Candy GVS34 126TC2 / 2

Rating: 4.9

CANDY GVS34 126TC22.jpg

With its 34 centimeters deep, Candy is very compact by the standards of washing machines designed for a 6 kg load. In addition, the manufacturer was able to meet the energy efficiency class A + (0.15 kWh / kg): with frequent use, the machine can significantly save energy.

Due to the shallow depth of the drum, it inevitably had to be made large in diameter, which gave both pros and cons. Plus – it's the convenience of loading and unloading linen: with a 35-cm hatch diameter, it's not difficult. But the minus is also clear: high vibrations during spinning (especially at a maximum of 1200 rpm) required the manufacturer to directly prescribe in the instructions and on the official website that the washing machine cannot be built in or contact the body with furniture or the walls of the room. Note that an imbalance sensor is provided in the design – the machine can limit the spin speed if necessary.

The controls are twofold: the rotary program selector familiar to Candy and the touch buttons at the bottom of the display. The display itself is informative, it is not difficult to deal with it. The addition of laundry after the start of the cycle is a plus.

We managed to make the noise level low: 56 dB during washing, it rises to 77 dB during spinning.

  • Shallow installation depth;
  • Convenience of loading and unloading;
  • Three quick wash programs;
  • Low noise when washing.

  • High vibrations;
  • Connecting with a smartphone (Smart Touch function) requires mandatory use of NFC.

Hotpoint-Ariston VMUG 501 B

Rating: 4.7

This washing machine can be considered a competitor to Candy GVS34 126TC2 / 2 – it is also designed with a small installation depth (34.8 cm), but due to a lower load (5 kg according to the instructions) with a similar energy consumption, Hotpoint-Ariston loses in energy efficiency: class A against A + from Candy. The machine also loses in terms of noise level: although the maximum spin speed is even lower here (1000 rpm, not 1200), the spin noise reaches 83 dB, which is already a lot.

The wash programs selected with the rotary selector allow two parameters to be changed: temperature and spin speed. The temperature can change even in modes where it is indicated directly in the description – for example, by choosing 'Cotton 60 ° C', you can raise the temperature to 90 degrees. There are two quick wash modes: for 60 and 30 minutes. At the same time, it is impossible to adjust the water temperature in a half-hour mode, and the machine independently sets a very low (30 degrees), therefore this mode is ineffective, here we agree with frequent negative reviews.

This machine shares a useful feature with the Hotpoint-Ariston RSM 601 W: there is also a program for delicate washing of woolen products that are prescribed only for hand wash, which is confirmed by the 'green' Woolmark icon (Wool hand wash safe).

Of the minuses, we note a strong sensitivity to the configuration of the discharge into the sewer: often, according to reviews, the machine can stop the cycle with the issuance of a warning indication 'H2O'.

  • Delicate wash for wool.

  • High noise level;
  • The minimum duration of a quick wash is 30 minutes with its low efficiency.

Zanussi ZWSO 6100 V

Rating: 4.4

Zanussi managed to provide a shallow installation depth (33.8 cm), significantly sacrificing the dimensions of the drum: it is designed for only 4 kg of load, and even then for 7 programs out of 11. Therefore, with large wash volumes, high energy efficiency (A-10%) in practice will not justify: you will have to split the load into several parts, performing several wash cycles in a row. The wash itself can take a long time: for example, the cycle 'Energy saving program for cotton' lasts three hours according to the instructions, while the energy consumption is even higher (0.66 kWh) than in the standard 'Cotton' mode at 60 degrees (0.59 kWh , cycle time – 2 hours).

The washing machine has no display, only control LEDs indicate the current operating mode (wash / rinse / cycle finished). Since the actual washing time can vary greatly, this is inconvenient: there is no way to determine when the cycle will end exactly.

The maximum spin speed is 1000 rpm, an 'automatic' reduction of the speed by half is provided (which, however, must be forcedly activated with a button). The arbitrary selection of spinning revolutions is not provided, the revolutions are rigidly set by the programs and are not displayed in any way.

The washing machine can work with liquid or powder detergents, but when you change the type of detergent, you will have to rearrange the partition in the compartment every time. The powder is not completely washed out during work. The washing process is quiet (58 dB of noise), during spinning, the noise level rises to 77 dB.

  • Compactness.

  • Display missing.
  • There is no possibility of arbitrary setting of the spin speed.
  • The strange designation of the modes: 'Cotton ECO' really increases the consumption of water and electricity;

Beko WRS 55P2 BSW

Rating: 4.3

Here, the manufacturer kept within 36.5 cm of depth, using a drum with a diameter of 46 cm, so the passport 5 kilograms of loading fit normally. Spinning is carried out at speeds up to 1000 rpm (except for the 'Mini' mode, where a limit of 800 rpm is set) with the possibility of manual adjustment. Energy consumption, depending on the selected program (there are 15 of them), varies from 0.11 kWh ('Synthetics in cold water') to 1.48 kWh ('Cotton, 90 degrees'). Energy efficiency measured according to standard method (Cotton 60 degree mode) and corresponds to class A.

The washing machine's programs are quite short – the longest, 'Cotton, 60 degrees', will take approximately 3 hours. But there is no 15-minute quick wash mode here, only half an hour is provided (it is called 'Mini' on the selector), at a temperature of 30 degrees and with a maximum water consumption (57 liters according to the passport), that is, in fact, the machine simply rinses the laundry intensively almost without heating.

The washing powder tray is not washed in the best way: the manufacturer in the instructions directly indicates that it needs to be cleaned every 4-5 washings. There is no special drum cleaning program, the Cottons 90 degree program is used for this. The possibility of additional loading of linen is also not provided.

Spinning during the cycle at the machine is not always effective (depending on the type of fabric, drum load), and according to the owners, you have to manually start an additional spin cycle. The noise is average (78 dB), while washing it is 60 dB. Vibrations at high rpm can be high, which is inevitable with large drum diameters.

  • Affordable price;
  • Large hatch diameter.

  • The need for regular cleaning of the tray from powder residues;
  • Low efficiency of the 'short' wash program.
